Had an appointment today with Lorena. She met me in the hallway right as I got there, brought me over to her chair, and offered me a water, all of which felt awfully nice and accommodating!She's a good communicator, was attentive to what I asked for, delightfully conversational, and the haircut looked great!First time there, and I'm sure I'll be back!

First time trying this Salon and I will not be going Back. I I was in a rush to find an appointment and I went with whatever I could book online before the weekend. I found this place I booked an appointment for today with Lorena. I wanted a highlight touch up on my roots, when I booked online it quoted me $65 which I was thinking wow that's an amazing deal so I was excited for the price, my confirmation email also said that my appointment would be $65. I showed up to my appointment at 11am, the process was really slow, it took about 2 1/2 for the hair stylist to do my highlights. My head was being ripped on the whole time and my head was getting sore. As she was washing the bleach out and shampooing/conditioning she kept ripping on my hair as well. We finally got through that and it was time to blow dry. My hair was so knotted from the lack of conditioner to make it smooth. She was pulled so much of my hair out on the brush from it getting caught and tangled. Twice she had to pull my hair off of the brush and throw it in her trash can. After finishing up she curled my hair which looked great, the highlights also look great but the lack of gentleness was brutal. When it was time to go it was almost 3pm at this time. I was expecting to pay $65. I asked how much I owed her and she said $220. My jaw dropped. I saw umm... ok well I only have $100 cash on me I guess I'll have to leave and get more. I showed her a screenshot of my original booking with her and the confirmation email that stated my appointment would cost $65. She said she didn't understand why it said that and that it was wrong but she will just charge me $175 instead. I had to drive 30 mins back home to get the extra cash and bring it back to her. It was the absolute worst salon experience I've ever had. My head has been throbbing from the amount of hair I've had pulled out today.

I've been seeing Carlee for a while now! She's brought my hair back to life! She uses the best products and is very skilled at her craft! The space is cute and comfortable! There is convenient parking, and it's located in the heart of midtown, so after your appointment you can hit any number of local restaurants or bars with your new do!

Someone in the Reno's mom group recommended Bella, and I'm so glad. She does a great job, and is a reasonable cost too! I usually take the opportunity to do something fun in midtown after too!

I made an appointment with Lorena @ 1:30, I arrived and was greeted with annoyance by Lorena. She said go ahead and have a seat…. The only place was a dryer so I sat there until I was asked to move by another stylist who needed it. I was then seated at someone’s station with a bowl of color just sitting there. After watching Lorena complete a gentleman’s haircut she disappeared to come back with a different client whose hair she hadn’t even began to cut. I left. She was available on short notice for a reason I guess. I thought Slice was supposed to be one of the nicer salons in town, I’ve been treated better at super cuts. Just know that I was willing to drop 300+ Lorena, customer service goes a long way and you are not that good of a stylist to act like such a diva.

Was booked at 11:00 for an appointment with Lorena another lady walked in who also had an appointment with her for 11:00….Lorena showed up 15 minutes late and had no clue. The experience came off very unprofessional and decided to leave.

Candy was amazing! ??She cut my hair ??♀️ and accommodated my need to color my hair, even though she had other clients and I booked her for hair cut only.??♀️ She knew how much I needed to have a nice color to go with the beautiful cut she gave me.Candy is knowledge and friendly.?? She offers excellent customer service. I am so happy I discovered this little gem in Reno. ?
