Had to get a tow and I'm glad we chose Sierra for service! The gentlemen who work here have been very kind, informative, and considerate. Service has been prompt and we were given all of the info we needed up front to make a decision. Prices are appropriate and fair. Thanks!!

Phil, Josh, Jose, Larry and Doug always take care of me, they are straight to the point, don’t sugar coat, and make sure you understand everything they are doing. This has been my go to mechanic shop, and my place I stop for Red Bulls and gas for the last 4 years.
Phil is very knowledgeable, and I very much enjoy talking to him. I don’t just stop by to get work done or gas, sometimes I stop by just to ask advice and chat it up with the team there.
Even if the prices are slightly higher, the turn around and quality of work beats most in Reno.
They will not let you throw money out on a junk car, and I respect that.
Who would’ve thought a gas station car shop was better than most others?
P.S. if you want to get on their good side, bring them donuts. Doug loves donuts. And he also does an amazing job on any tire work you need!

I was driving though Reno and my car broke down. These guys gave me the truth and recommended path forward (ie junk the car) and they did so in a way that didn't pad their pockets. I appreciate their honesty. They also let me park my DOA car there for an additional week in order for me to get my title from my out of state home and to schedule a junkyard tow.

The guys are honest and they are blunt with is about the condition of your car (this is good). They have shown me that they they are not repairing your my car just to make money and it doesn't matter what happened to the car later. No, they tell you once they got the diagnosis of they car repair it or not.

I will never bring my car back, and I am advising everyone I can to avoid this shop. I'd been coming here several years up to this pointI'm very regular with maintenance (2x yearly) and to be told that we are negligent in any regard is insulting. This is disheartening especially given that every time we ask Phil what else we need to do and is there anything concerning to be looked at while fully prepared to pay and keep the car in tiptop condition.The experience here is incredibly frustrating, my wife will call to itemize a full list of things we wish done to the car on bringing it in, and on drop off they will either not remember the conversation or will leave items previously discussed off the service altogether. I'm willing to repeat the list a few times, and while frustrating as a common experience, it wasn't bad service at least and didn't give me reason to leave this review in the past.Our last service was the worst service to date, and is why I'm leaving this review. Our car needed the front end disassembled but was returned with cracked interior pieces, grease on our steering wheel and center console, wires ripped and left on the floor or hanging from the roof. Just overall very rough.At every phone call we were told different stories, then passed off to different people because we were frustrated about the experience. On pickup, the front person handling keys told my wife several times after she'd asked for keys to stop being emotional and rouned back with why we ruined our car. I'm over it.

After a flat tire on I-80 westbound AND a spare tire which came off the rim, I was towed to this place. They were AWESOME! Friendly, super helpful, recommended a hotel to stay at, even suggested I Uber to Costco, buy cheaper tires, bring them back there to have installed (which I didn't end up doing). They got me back on the road as fast as possible.BIG THANK YOU to Phil and Doug (?) And in case you are reading this, I did make it back home the next day :)

Terrible! They broke more on my car then they fixed. Charged me $900+ for it. Told me my car is a piece of s***t. Which it never was until their shoddy work.

I had been going to this place for years and was happy with them, but yesterday I tried getting an oil change with a walk-in and was told they couldn't get to it that day and to schedule an appointment. I made an appointment at 8am the next day. They took my keys and said it would be a couple of hours. I was surprised it would take this long even after my scheduled appointment and that early into the day, but I agreed and left my car there. I called 2.5 hours later and they didn't have an update on price or eta for me. I eventually had to pick up my car without an oil change as they had not provided me any update an hour after my call. (3.5hours after I dropped it off!) Even with an appointment this place takes way too long. Unless you don't need your car for a full day, or even two, I wouldn't drop my car off for an oil change here.

Zero stars if I could! Very Shady car shop! I took my Subaru in for a Trans flush and it immediately starting slipping every stop my car took. I came back and said you guys made the car worse and the owner said "I DID NOT DO ANYTHING" very rudely. Anyways come to find out a few month later I check my transmission dip stick and they used GEAR OIL on my automatic transmission. Very distinct smell. The color after draining my transmission was very black with some yellow and red instead of the standard red transmission oil should be! My guess if they grabbed the wrong hose added gear oil and covered it up with ATF. Never mentioned anything to me. Don't go here unless you want your car destroyed by non professionals.
