I came in with only 50 cents in change and the owner gave me $2 in gas and let me keep my change. Great guy definitely coming back

I stopped here for a smog check yesterday, Jan. 15. I was amazed at the courtesy and quickness of my visit! I was n and out in 10 minutes, and they transferred the results of the check immediately. I finished the DMV transaction in the afternoon, the same day was very pleased. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Great service, and great guys to deal with, Bravo!

I decided to give The Shell Gas Station, located on East Moana Lane and at the cross-street of Kietzke Lane a 'Three-Star' review because I had called prior to going there and I asked how much they charge for a smog check. I was told that it was $19.99. After I had my vehicle checked out and it passed the inspection for being in compliance of The DMV's requirements, I was charged an extra dollar. I asked, "why I was charged an additional dollar?" I explained to the woman who was assisting me, that I was quoted a lower price.The lady who actually performed my smog check was polite and she responded, "the owner charges an additional dollar if you use a credit card." Hmmm.I hope that my review will be helpful to others. I believe that if a business is charging its customers for fees or costs for services then they should have a sign to advise the public so they are informed. That would be a good policy to have and good ethical business practices. A business owner should be forthcoming about hidden fees so that the customer knows upfront and then they can make a decision about either going to another competitor or pay the fee for using a credit card.

Wow, what a well run business. Was in and out with my smog check in about 5 minutes. It was less than $20 which is about $5 cheaper than most. The people were friendly and seemed happy, which is usually a sign of good management/leadership. They were competent and professional. Everything went smoothly, no friction at all. Wish all businesses were this well run. Highly recommend.

Stopped in on a weekend, needing a smog check. Drove up and a man walked up & barked orders at me. Said to get out and go inside. Um, no. I've never had to leave my car for a smog check, it should literally take 10 minutes max. I'm good. He took my keys, got in and proceeded to try to put a key in (I have a fob) I kept saying "THERE IS NO KEY!" My car is a 2018 so there aren't any issues, and I found it so odd that this man wanted me to leave my car. I stood leaning against it and waited. When he was done I went inside, and paid, but it was just a weird vibe with the woman inside and him. It was cheap yes, but I'd not recommend, nor will I go back.

Nice place to get quality gas.8 Pumps to fill up, all pumps are brand new & clean !Prices are market value for branded gas. They have a service station for those in need of a smog check. Never had a problem here so far.Nice place to stop if you are about take the freeway from the Moana on ramp.Very Nice employee & clean bathroom.Free air pump .

Reliable smog shop open seven days a week. It's not a looker and their equipment is dirty and dated, but the staff was friendly, and it was only $20 to get my car smogged on a Sunday when every other location doing smogs was closed. As for the gas station/convenience mart, lots of pumps were closed and the inside of the store was filthy. I probably wouldn't eat or drink anything from inside, but I get the feeling that a majority of their money comes from auto care, not food sales. So the four stars is because the convenience area isn't the best. If they got a cosmetic facelift and a merchandiser in there, would totally be a five star location, but in the meantime, you can't beat it for a $20 smog.
