Approached a young man to ask him a question and before I could even ask I was told “I’m on break” and kept walking away. I understand you’re on break but at least it could have been said in a nicer way! Makes me not want to visit this store.

This store has very welcoming and friendly employees! Hannah helped me swatch a foundation and was such a pleasure to work with. She did a fantastic job of answering all my questions and taking the time to ensure I was satisfied with my experience. I appreciate the hard work she puts in to her job!

First time here and the store was busy. The workers seemed more interested in socializing with each other than helping customers (though when I finally interrupted to get help, she was very nice and knew which product I needed). At checkout, the attitude got chilly (different worker) when I didn’t want to share my phone number for some rewards program. A simple thank you after I paid and said thanks would’ve been nice.

Horrible! Rude! Racist! To the sales lady that snatched a box out of my daughters hand this is for you! First, my daughter is 8 and second she is American and was born in the US. My daughter was innocently trying to open a box of skin care to see how big the bottle was and this very rude sales lady snatched the box out of her hand and told her "we don't open boxes in America". My daughter is half black, Filipino and White. I would guess you treated her so rudely based on the color of her skin. She is 8, you couldn't find a more kinder way to let her know that she isn't allowed to open the product. What did you think, that she was going to steal it? And then you flapped your lip to my Mom, who is Filipino but was also born here in the US like she was stupid. She didn't need the history on why "you can't open boxes in America". It's very sad we live in a day and age where people are still judged on their skin color. I bet if it was a white lady you probably would have helped her open the box. I will NEVER return to this store, EVER!
Maybe you should think about retraining your staff on basic customer service and decency.

I came in a while back to get help color matching with a concealer and bronzer. I have little experience with makeup and Dominic was so patient and diligent. He didn’t give up in trying to find the right match for me! Another young woman (I forget her name!) was so helpful when I came back a few months later to get assistance with picking an eyeliner. I’ve seen subpar reviews for the other Sephora near Sparks and the ULTA by Pyramid, so making the twenty minute drive is worth it to get customer service that goes above and beyond.

My wife and daughter are loyal customers. Quality/Quantity - Good. We were just told that they do not offer free makeup consultations anymore. But your competitor MAC next door still does. Well after my wife bought her stuff, she went next door and made an appointment for a free 15 minute makeup consultation. So not sure how much more regular and loyal our family will be with this brand...? Atmosphere - Good size location. Always organized. Typically plenty of employees. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week from 10am or 11am to 6pm or 7pm. Service - Good except for the change of no longer offering free makeup consultations. Price - Expensive, but that is the cost for quality. Owner Comment - Oh, I did not know you were owned by LVMH. Congrats on your success since 1970 with 340+ brands and your own private label. 1993 - Acquired by Dominique Mondonnaud - Created their assisted self serve program. 1997 - LVMH purchased the company. 1998 - First US location in NY. Currently in 35 markets with over 3000 points of sales.

Told me they would save a product for me to pick up. I travel all the way from Davis California and they tell me that they don’t have it. Horrible management.

Honestly, just shop online. The employees were literally frantic, rushing me along through the checkout, when no one was behind me in line, and hardly anyone shopping in the store. They also talk to you like you're an idiot if you happen to ask a question about a product. One of my favorite things about sephora used to be that they give you samples, and here, they act annoyed when you ask and NEVER give you any. When you shop online, you get free samples... so save your energy and just stay at home.
