I am so glad Rick came to rescue for my good fridge, it simply needed a fresh food door seal. His expertise and professional assessment saved me a lot of $$$ as I thought I needed a new fridge altogether. 5 stars for expertise, problem solving, speed, timeliness, courtesy, communication.

I called RC Appliance on 7/18/2023 for service on my LG Refrigerator that was running 42 degrees instead of 40 inside refrigerator. LG Appliance gave me an appointment the next day 7/19/2023. Solved my problem in a short time and gave me answers why I was having this problem. I wish that I could have given them a 10 ********** rating but couldn't because my Refrigerator is running great now. The price that it cost me was in a good range for all the things that the serviceman did to solve the problem that I was having.Thank you RC for solving my problem with my Refrigerator. I will keep your card in a safe place for future Appliance needs.

Our landlord sent Rick to inspect and repair our stove. He was communicative, always let us know when he was around ten minutes out, and then always showed up on time. He quickly diagnosed and fixed our stoves problem. Looking through his reviews it's clear he used to do home warranty work (rough) and he mentioned he no longer does that anymore and is much more independent. I would absolutely recommend him!

My Home Warranty service sent this company to repair my undercounter ice maker. They diagnosed the problem as needing a new heat exchanger and compressor and ordered parts. Once they came out the only changed the heat exchanger and the story changed that it only needed the heat exchanger. That didn't fix it, so they order the compressor too, and on the next visit (going on a month now), they changed out the compressor. Five minutes after the "technician" left, the ice maker started to smoke, and I couldn't turn it off with the one/off button, so I had to unplug it. They sent the tech back about an hour later, and he said it should work even though he could smell (anybody could) the obvious burnt smell, and said just give it until the next morning and it should work. Of course, it did not. I had the company refer the repair order back to the Home Warranty company, but did not refund most of the charges, so now I've used up all my coverage for refrigeration and no repair has been accomplished. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they are incompetent and dishonest.

RC Appliance has been fabulous! Janis is spectacular. Her follow up is great. Our washing machine broke. A different company came out and said it was unrepairable to AHS. This is a LG newer washer. We asked for another company and they sent Alex from RC Appliance. He came out and diagnosed the problem and it should be 100% by tonight after ordering parts. He's been amazing! They are on top of it, take care of their customers and work as a great team. Janis has made this process so easy. I cannot thank them enough. The best in our book! Thank you so much. We were so stressed after Superior came out and didn't care at all. We will ONLY use RC Appliance for all our needs in the future. You guys are the best!

Called RC Appliance via AHS Insurance. Not a good idea as they were not dependable, showed up very late, did a "troubleshooting" that actually caused the refrigerator to stop working altogether. Came out twice, and still without a working refrigerator. When they FINALLY called back late on a Friday afternoon they offered to come out the next Wednesday. Food was already spoiling and they couldn't care less. Use a company that has a far better track record. You can be sure I will get my reimbursement from AHS once the problem is fixed by a legitimate and dependable repair service.

Our Home Warranty Company scheduled RC Appliance to repair a refrigerator in a condo in Reno. Their schedule is always backed up so takes a long time to get a technician to come out. They replaced a Defrost Heater Assembly and the Defrost Thermostat in Feb. 2021. Today the refrigerator started having the same problem. We no longer have a Home Warranty, so I called RC Appliance because I was pretty sure the parts (and service ?) would be under warranty, since only 5 months have passed since repair. Well, that was useless. They can't get out to the condo for 2 Weeks !! Seriously ? So, I found another Company (Marin Appliance), who can get someone out there tomorrow. I called RC Appliance back to ask if the Parts would at least be covered under warranty and their answer was No - unless They performed the service. Well they make that impossible because they can't get a technician out there for 2 full weeks !! So what good is their so called 'warranty' ? ? Bottom line, keep looking if you need appliance repair. Is there really any Appliance you can live without for 2 full weeks that it takes this company to get someone out to diagnose or repair ?

Home insurance company contracted them to do work on my dryer. Communication has been nonexistent but I finally got someone to come fix it. I’m now sitting at home waiting for a repair guy that hasn’t showed up. Called the office to double check timing and the phone just keeps ringing. Extremely disappointed with this company and the service they provided. I absolutely would not recommend them. My home warranty company dispatched this company to repair my washer. The seal in my washer degraded during a wash cycle and left chunks of rubber in my wet clothes. Rick, the owner of the company, came to my home. He spent about 5 minutes in our home and had a negative, angry attitude the whole time. He wrote a report stating the damaged rubber door diaphragm is only a cosmetic problem and doesn't affect the operation of my washer, so my home warranty won't replace the diaphragm. Rick didn't even bother to turn the washer on during his visit. My husband called to discuss the diagnosis with Rick and was promised a call back the same day. We did not receive a call. I called the following day. There is no option of leaving a message and the business does not answer the phone during business hours. I did receive a call back, from caller ID I would guess, and received the same song and dance about the lady talking to Rick and then I would get a return call. After I continued to verbally push the conversation, the woman on the phone abruptly told me that Rick had already told her that he would not come back to our home. To top it off, they blocked our numbers, so we cannot call them. Not that it would do any good since they don't answer the phone anyway! I told the lady from RC Appliance that I was going to post a negative review. She stated she didn't care, which is obvious from the multiple negative reviews here on Yelp and on Google.

If you have nothing to do besides wait for technicians to show up, this place may be for you. Calling at 9 AM to cancel a 10 AM appt is unacceptable especially after waiting 7 days for the appt. Dispatch called to cancel - she didn't even have the correct appt info. Wanted me to wait another 4 days and take another day off work.

RC Appliance was given a repair contract for our oven. Initially, they were great with communication. However, once the wrong part was ordered, then communication stopped. I left several messages, worked with my home warranty company, and RC never communicated with the home warranty company. We went 2 weeks without any update only to find out the part was no longer available and RC dropped the contract. They did not tell anyone. We are now with a different repair company and they are actually talking to us. It has been 4 weeks without an oven and hopefully it will get fixed by Monday. I would never recommend RC Appliance LLC.

An Appointment was made through my home warranty company. Scheduling the appointment 3 working days from the date of the request based on their convenience/availability. A time window was requested by them of 9 am to 1 pm. I took 4 hours off work sitting at home waiting for a repairman who never arrived. No courtesy call to inform me he would not be coming in the time window they had requested. I finally had to go back to work at 1 pm. The repairman ( and RC Appliance) texted/called me at 1:24 and showed up on my doorstep (per my ring camera). I let him know via text I was no longer available and had made arrangements with another company due to their no call no show. No apology, no notice. Very poor customer service and follow up. I cannot imagine making a client wait 4 hours - showing up after my appointment window and not even extending a courtesy apology.

Worst customer service I've experienced in quite sometime. They won't even answer the phone or return my calls. This is after they've been to my house twice and haven't fixed my appliance. Not impressed.

We live in south Reno and have used RC Appliance for the past nine years on those occasions we have needed appliance repairs or service. Our experience with them has been excellent. Easy to communicate with their office staff, and the technician shows up when scheduled. Their technicians are extremely knowledgeable. We've never been disappointed. We highly recommend them.
