The most pretentious and unprofessional experience I’ve ever had walking into a business. Upon walking in, the store reeks of an expired deli sandwich; which is fine, I can look past someone eating lunch. However, the woman working has the audacity to come up to my mother and I, to accuse me of wearing after shave or cologne and that it was giving her coworker a migraine… I definitely was not. I think this was her way of profiling me and saying I wasn’t good enough to shop there. This is not acceptable behavior, and I don’t know how anyone could support a business that discriminates these days.

Wow! What a store. By far, the most unique and special furniture, accessories and artwork in all of Reno. Professional and courteous staff is the icing on the cake. We furnished our whole house through Norwalk, as well as getting shutters for all the windows.

We needed to make the most of our limited garage space, and they did a beautiful job! Very pleased. We are now doing drapes for our sliders for them as well. Had we known they did closets when we built the house, we certainly would have used them for that as well.

We will never visit this store again after experiencing their unprofessional behavior. We stopped by one morning to shop for window coverings for a house we were building in Galena Forest. The doors were locked and, when we peered into the window, someone came to the door and told us they were having a staff meeting and would open in a few minutes. After waiting on the sidewalk until 15 minutes after the opening hour with nobody unlocking the door, we left. I’m not sure if it had anything to do with how we were dressed or something else. But apparently their staff meeting was more important than selling a houseful of window coverings.

This is the worst company ever. The quality of a sectional I bought is horrendous , and their customer service worse. It was for a second home, used very little for a period of 6 weeks by one person and it completely pilled and the cushions look flat. Save your hard earned money, find a company who stands by their product..not Norwalk.

When Gayle and I moved to Genoa (about a year and a half ago), we ended up selling or giving away almost all of our furniture in the Pleasant Hill house. In fact, if you look at our dining/living room today, the only thing left from before is a nice La-Z-Boy chair, an end table, and an antique buffet. Gayle got some help from an interior designer friend to help draw out what we wanted our living space to look like furniture-wise, but indecision set in quickly anyway. Me stepping away while giving her a blank check to do what she wanted didn't help either. One day during a Reno interior design expedition, we walked into Norwalk furniture. One of their couch's immediately caught Gayle's attention, and soon we were talking to the Owner (Michelle) about fabrics, size options, and costs. When Michelle mentioned her service of at home consultation, Gayle jumped on it, while both of us realizing that this wasn't going to be cheap, but was a great way to approach our decorating conundrum. After Michelle was done scoping out the room in person, digitizing the layout, and making several well-received recommendations, we proceeded to what is now a very nicely furnished living area. We ended up purchasing 2 area rugs, a couch, loveseat, and 4 different styles of tables/bureaus. We also branched out to several window coverings thanks to Michelle's Hunter Douglas business led by Mark. We spent a lot of money, but in terms of quality, value, and stylistic fit, we were and are very happy and comfortable. The process was slowed down a bit because of global supply chain issues and some local communication/delivery matters. But with COVID and other things that were going on at the time, it was, what it was.

Where do I begin? Michelle helped me furnish my spec home in Rancharrah and the house sold for top dollar. Furniture was purchased in its entirety by the buyer of the home. A true testament. Mark handled the window treatments and couldn't have been more professional and timely. I will be using them in my next home for all things!

I was shopping around for window coverings for my house and Accent Window Coverings & Norwalk Furniture caught my eye from their bilboard located on South Virginia Street. As I walked into the store, I immediately noticed beautiful furniture displays. Among the displays were great textures, color schemes, patterns, shapes, and top-notch furniture that I would gladly buy for my home.I made my way to the back, towards the window coverings, showrooms and found a wide display of shades, shutters and blinds. Out of three places I visited, Accent Window Coverings had the most to show.Mark was the salesperson that showed me and my husband around and answered all of our questions thoroughly. He did not hesitate one bit and clearly has the experience to guide customers through big projects. For our consultation, he went to my new house and brought all of his samples in multiple bags. It was great having visuals, as it helped out greatly with putting the whole picture together. Mark is kind, professional, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend him enough.Norwalk is a one-stop-shop for everything you need for your home: window accents and coverings, home furnishings, accessories, bedding, lighting, and floor coverings.Their company has been around for a while and it shows through experience. Hope you check them out!

We recently purchased a $4,000 reclining sofa for our new house, which worked fine in the store. Some how prior to delivery the part that enables the sofa to recline, ended up missing, so the couch does not work properly. It has been over a month with spotty communication with the store, and we are still unable to get this issue resolved. We have never heard from the owner at all, as nobody seems to really care after the sale is complete. Supposedly the part has been ordered from China, but nobody really knows when or if it will show up. Since then, we have purchased the rest of furnishings from The Find, which has much better customer service.

When I moved to Reno I found Norwalk and met Michelle (owner) in the first week. It is my go to place for all things interior. She did my windows, most of my furniture and so much more. Always prompt and professional. Her staff is also fabulous. Jared, who does delivery and installation is fabulous. I can’t say enough about all of them. I will always be a client!

I have been working on a remodel and have gotten to the best part of getting to decorate. Norwalk has beautiful items so I was excited to visit. A designer helped to put together a talented trio of rugs to accent my home perfectly. When I asked about the rugs as far as the maker so I could research the product before investing, I was told the "obviously I wanted to do this myself" and let go. Wait, what? I just wanted to know a little more than the stain protection. I was told that the Owner does not release such information? I later found the table quoted at $10,000 for $4000. This is probably the best furniture gallery in Reno, but you will pay for it. I wish I was able to get the rugs I wanted, but I guess I wasnt worthy.

I was total disappointed with Michelle W. We ordered blinds from her the first week of October 2019 and payed the balance November 17, 2019. We were to have our blinds installed on January 2, 2020. Installation was scheduled at 9:00 at 8:25 on January 2 we received a call telling us that our blinds were not in. Michelle failure to communicate with us regarding the delay in material is 100% unacceptable.
