Non stop auto has been my one stop shop for any repair or maintenance I’ve needed in any of my cars. Thank you Non stop for being a trustworthy business.

My cars’ clutch started acting up, smoking, and became unable to drive. So Edgar towed my car to his shop. He did a full diagnostic on it and to no surprise to me my car needed quite a bit of work. I got approved through NonStops Easypay Financing and was able to get all my repairs covered fast and easy! Edgar is trustworthy and thorough! I’ve had him work on my car times before and he always does an amazing job! I highly recommend Edgar and NonStop Auto!

I brought my truck in with a coolant leak back in February. They were great. Carmax warranty was giving them the runaround, so it took a little longer than expected. I got a text at least once a day with updates. It ended up being a bad radiator, but I asked them to do the thermostat and water pump too out of pocket. Once approved, the truck was ready in a day. Got it back, and the truck was great.Until May when the truck overheated leaving a camping trip. Got it back to the shop, and they agreed to fix it under warranty. I'm not exactly sure what the issue was or what they fixed this time as communicated was almost zero. I got the truck back, and everything was great.Until the end of June, when it overheated again while camping. I brought the truck back to the shop. They agreed to fix it under warranty again. I think it was just the radiator cap this time. While it was in there, they informed me the truck had no oil pressure. They also said the manifolds were cracked. They said they needed to change the oil and pressure test. Meanwhile, they sent in the approval request to Carmax. Carmax did not approve the work because the manifolds were not cracked. They are split from the factory where the bolts attach to account for expansion. Also, changing the oil seemed to fix the pressure, so after a week and only changing the cap on the radiator, I got my truck back, and everything was fine.Until I noticed a ticking/ clicking sound when driving near a wall or fence. I'm still under warranty so I take it to a different shop and they inform me that all of the bolts from the manifold to the downpipe of the exhaust have been removed and the pipe was just hanging there creating a large exhaust leak. When they called Carmax for approval of the work, they got the same adjuster who dealt with my truck before at Nonstop and remembered not approving the cracked manifold request. Seems like they started taking the exhaust apart, got denied, and just left it as it was. Up until this point, I would have given 3 or 4 stars, but I paid another shop $200 to fix and issue most likely made by Nonstop.

I’ve had edgar repair a couple or cars of mine. Another shop quoted me $3500 to fix my cars air conditioning, Edgar took a look at the car and found it was just a line that needed to be replaced. No where near $3500. Amazing service.

After taking the car in due to thermostat issues, nonstop kept the car for 9 months while I was still paying financing on the car. Definitely didn't offer any type of loaner car, they tried one engine swap. That didn't work so another engine swap and closed the hood but the hood apparently stuck closed. A couple weeks later shut the hood for a second time and it stuck again. I'm not sure if they made this up or they're just incompetent. My wife got the car back 2 weeks ago and today the radiator hose came off due to a makeshift clip they threw on there instead of doing the job right in the 9 months of having it in their posession.... looking at the engine we discovered they didn't bother to replace the hose between the intake and the vent either. The WORST experience I've had with a shotty mechanic shop. If they keep this service up, I'll give them 6 months tops. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plauge!

So I had my 2001 BMW 330I brought into the shop to fix the serpentine belt and tension pulley. I knew the belt was bad so it needed changed. Well upon inspection they found out one of my cylinders had a major misfire and had blown out the spark plug and basically was being held in by a foreign putty or something of the sort. This was on a Friday so they told me that the car would be fixed on Monday and my car would hopefully be running better. They did tell me that it had basically a 50/50 shot at working like it's suppose to. So I waited over the weekend and Monday came and I figured my car was ready. Nope the BMW " Specialist " they at the shop hurt himself. Knowing that I don't blame them or am mad at the guy but my car ended up being put back together with what looked like a used ignition coil and a busted and bent spark plug and put out the door. Paid for the "parts" thinking it was gonna be at least ok to make it home. Nope made it down the block and belt broke and the "new" parts I paid for were already broken. Now I can understand having a person that knows how to work on the car but if you didn't know what to do then you could have told me that and I would of just gotten a tow truck took it home and found somewhere else to take it to get it fixed. My job sent me there because that's where they go to get the work done on the company cars. So I mean they do good on those but if it's not Japanese or American made don't expect good work from this place. I won't be going back or recommending anyone to go to this place.

This is a great shop they give fair pricing and honest work, and they often let you bring in your own parts

Decent pricing. I’ve used Edgar from Nonstop Auto on a few of my cars, each time better than the last. Very truthworthy with no pressure from pointless upselling. I always refer others looking for a decent mechanic to NonStop Auto.

Nonstop Auto is the first non-dealership mechanic I've gone to in Reno and I highly recommend. They're very good at communicating with you during the process, and worked with me on specific requests I made (paying via 3rd party, ordering OEM parts).
