I usually shop at the Michaels in Sparks, but the Reno store had some items in stock that I wanted. I had several packs of cardstock and some smaller items. I went to a live cashier, and as she was bagging my items, I asked if I could use a cart to transport the heavy purchase to my car. I was told NO, the carts could not leave the store. OK. Before I got to the exit, both plastic bags split and my entire purchase hit the floor. Not one employee offered to help. I gathered my items and managed to get to my car at the far end of the lot, in the rain. After I got home, I realized that two packs of cardstock were damaged. Had I noticed it while still at the store, I would have asked for replacements. In the past month, have tried calling and have sent several emails and have had no response, other than the auto reply that my email had been received.

Those people are nothing short of thieves-I left parcel for ups collection.From ups said they never got the item and the people from Michaels kindly stole my parcel.Thank you for destroying my Xmas and stealing 700$parcel.To make things better they don't even bother to answer calls

Last minute stop for candle supplies, the soy was of great quality. I also got some greener 1/2 off, they always such good deals, and coupons.

Probably the worst experience I've ever had at a Michael's. First, my partner and I waited for nearly twenty minutes for an associate to help us by opening the pen cabinet, even after using the help button in that section multiple times. The associate who helped us was nice though. The next major issue was when we were picking up our online order from the Grab & Go Self Service area at the front as instructed in the order email. My partner was looking at the order confirmation email on her phone to make sure we grabbed all the bags for our order when I grabbed only the bags for our order which were sitting off to the side in the open. When I did so the cashier suddenly stopped helping the person to stop me to see if I was just taking things. My partner (a white woman), told her it was our order with her last name on it, to which I showed the paper on the bags showing as much. The cashier didn't seem to believe me until she turned and saw my partner, then had no problem with us taking our order without so much as asking to look to see the confirmation email or ID or anything. The whole encounter seemed prejudiced and left us feeling unwelcome.Furthermore, we went to our car and checked to make sure that everything was there, but one item was missing that had been noted on the pick-up email. My partner went back in to ask to make sure it didn't get missed. The same cashier seemed annoyed that she even asked about it, sighing at her when she did. The cashier also seemed annoyed that she used the self checkout on her turn when she had to buy a different version of the item that was initially missing from our order.On top of just not a pleasant experience in the store, two separate vehicles almost hit our car in the parking lot. We usually go to the Michaels in Spanish Spring and had never been to this one before. Now we know to just always go to the Spanish Springs location.

The store has almost everything for the holidays and the prices are great. It was a zoo and the checkout person was easily flustered but she managed and everything was great

Bad customer service . I just came this morning and went to cashier to pay . She didn’t assist and told me if I pay card I have to go self service. When I had a problem to check out she just walked away and ignored me. Very bad customer service. If she’s not happy with her job just quit. She ruin my day????

I'm so impressed with the Halloween selection this year. The store is neat and organized so it is easy to find the craft supplies you need. They often have sales and coupons to make things more affordable.
