“Now if you, or your employer are looking for a great place to pee in a cup, then Nevada Drug & Alcohol is hands-down the best! Walk on in with your Quest email, a full bladder and you'll be leaving refreshed and content in a few short minutes. You won't even have time to browse the many Scientific American magazines in the lobby. They do peeing in a cup for work RIGHT!”

“I've been on a several different medications for the past 17 years, so was tested through MD Labs to see which ones would or wouldn't work out for me. I have to say that I was very impressed by the results and even more impressed by the quick turnaround! They were able to tell me things that I didn't even were possible to discover. Great job, MD Labs!”

“I always have a good experience here. It's inconvenient that they're only open till four, and you can't call them, but there is always great service with a smile, and they can fit me in immediately whenever I walk in. Clean and competent.”

“Had to go in for unscheduled lab work. Had very limited time and asked if they thought it could happen. The gal at check in said they were just finishing with the other person but no guarantees (fair enough!) they got me in and done, friendly and saw a trainee from TMCC. Everyone there was great!”

“I came here for labs as a recommendation from my Dr. The lab was open on a Saturday, and that was a huge plus. The rep was so nice. He drew my blood with no issues and pain-free. The experience was quick and easy, and I would gladly use it again.”

“I am very happy with this business. I went to this location for the first time yesterday, November 1, 2023. I decided to start using Renown more often for labs since the results they provide are more detailed than either the ones from LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics. They are similar to the lab reports from UCSF in San Francisco, which I use often and like. Maing an appointment was easy to do online, through MyChart. There were plenty of time slots available when I signed up (although I did sign up a few months in advance), as well as various Reno locations to choose from. Check-in was also easy, as I simply did it though my phone and just signed their check-in clipboard at the front. Since I had an appointment, I was called before the other person who had been waiting longer, though since it was later in the day, that person was the only other one there. It did take some time for the front desk person to sort through everything, because I had a total of six tests to be done from two different out-of-state doctors. [Tip: though you should always consult your doctor to be sure, and this is not to be construed as medical advice, you generally do not need to fast before a lipid panel, unless you have high triglycerides, even though the lab order says you should. Look it up for yourself if you don't believe me.] The good is I did not have to produce any insurance cards since I had supplied that info online. As I waited, I noticed they had a very large waiting room, with patients restrooms, a water dispenser and cups, and even USB and AC charging outlets on a counter, as well as regular AC outlets by many of the chairs. There was also free and easy-to-use Wi-Fi. [Please note, the lab services is co-located in the same suite as the Renown Medical Group (family practice), so you have to makes sure you go to the right check-in (family practice is on the left and lab services is on the right).] After they had finished my paperwork, I was promptly called in. The phlebotomist, Rebecca, was ultra professional and super nice. She apologized as she became the only phlebotomist on duty, as the other had left (although she didn't need to as I wasn't even ready yet). She did the blood draw quite easily, with no bruising left. I also had to provide a urine sample, which I did so in the restroom, which was clean. I asked Rebecca for a receipt, since I needed proof of my visit, for mileage purposes, and she said it would be on MyChart. I was skeptical since the lab I have used at UCSF also uses MyChart, but there is never an after-visit summary. But she insisted there would be one, and sure enough, when I checked later, it was there! As I left, the front desk people said bye to me...very friendly! Parking, by the way, was easy. Even though this office is in The Summit shopping center with lots of tony stores like Apple and Sephora, it is located near the southwest end, so there is plenty of space. The shopping center is also very close to the freeway, which made it even easier. So bottom line: use Renown! The are good people who care!”

“Today was my first time to this location and I don't want to go to any other Labcorp location after this. It was easy to find and the one person I spoke with was awesome, unfortunately I failed to get her name. Not only was she very nice, I didn't even feel the needle going in.”

“Late morning, "drop in" blood draw visit today. I knew I was taking my chances not having an appointment time. I'd tried another Labcorp location I'd used before first, but the number of people in the waiting room there convinced me to try this location. Everything went smoothly. I was told a 1.5 hr wait time, given existing appts and the # of people waiting. I lucked out, and I was in in under 45 minutes. Tech was very professional and knowledgeable. I read several of the negative reviews; I can affirmatively say those conditions did not apply to my visit. Look, getting a blood draw is no one's favorite thing nor is waiting in a health care environment. In terms of my expectations, and the actual experience, I was pleased. [note a check in kiosk is use. it may be confusing for a new user of the services, give yourself some time to read the instructions and go through it, if you have used it before , it is quite intuitive and easy to use, scan the backside of your drivers license , then your insurance card, and viola, you're in]”

“Christina at the lab in the Northwest went above and beyond with service today. My pre-surgery Covid test has been mistakenly sent to them and they no longer do Covid testing. She took the time to go through the CVS pharmacy site until she found one that had an open appointment today and booked it for me. ??????”

“The wait is long but the phlebotomist are awesome. I dislike getting my blood drawn but they have always been nice to me and have never poked me more than once. 4 stars only because the wait is brutal but other than that the staff has been great to me.”

“Needed bloodwork soon for a procedure and no appointments available so went in when they opened as a walk-in hoping for the best! Got checked in soon, friendly responsive front desk care. Waited a half hour to get called in, blood drawn quickly, barely felt it! So glad this lab is close to home, easy to access and not a bad wait time!”

“I worked with an expert, she was professional and worked a perfect speed, to make sure to take care of myself as well as waiting clients, she even fit in a lady on standby when another associate was going to take here, you can tell this place was running optimal, and I got to give her credit, as the last visit was OPPOSITE, it was a train wreck, so great to see it back as I remember!!!”

“I was at the Renown South Meadows ER early morning on 4/2 symptoms of shortness of breath, vomiting blood, chest pain, and nausea. ER check in was a quick process then went to triage Peggy (triage RN) made me feel comfortable, welcomed, and listened to my concerns really well this is my first time UNR he hospital I was admitted into the ER Chris (night shift RN) was really nice and explained everything he was doing he did an EKG, started an IV, drew blood, and started the fluids. I was seen by Dr. Simmers she is such an amazing ER doctor she made me feel comfortable and she would check in so often I’ve never seen a doctor check in with me 4-5 times throughout the 4 hours that I was there. She explained things really well and listened to my concerns she ordered X-ray for precaution pneumonia which turned out to be normal and CT of my abdominal ended up finding out it was a thickening of the distal esophagus nothing urgent I was discharged and to follow up with GI. Michelle (day shift RN) was on top of it when I was in pain and gave me IV pain. Everyone in X-ray, CT, and PAR were all really nice and caring! This is an amazing hospital facility to get care at I would recommend this facility!!”

“This labcorp visit was among the best we've had.

1. We scheduled an appointment and arrived early
2. The front desk male receptionist was very nice. He had black hair and was of college age - I wish I got his name so I could add it to this review
3. Next, we get called back for the blood draw. The lady informs us she is a college student and asked if that's ok. We responded that "we are a difficult blood draw and would appreciate a senior phlebotomist."
4. The senior phlebotomist came in and started making jokes with us immediately and made us laugh and she successfully drew blood and we were out within 15 minutes of arriving.

Great experience.

Thank you to the college student who asked if we wanted a more experienced phlebotomist - we needed this. The labcorp we went to 2 days prior in south reno jabbed us 5 separate times and never were able to draw blood. Then blamed us as the patients for having been dehydrated - this was not true. This was just because they were incompetent and would rather blame us than their skills.

Thank you to the front desk here for being kind. The labcorp is south reno blamed, shamed, and yelled at us during our visit.

And finally, thank you to the very funny and kind senior phlebotomist at this location. She relieved our stress because of how skilled she was at drawing blood.”
