Seems like it would be affordable. I found milk and eggs more expensive. Surprised me. Dozen eggs were like $4.26 !!!!!! ( March 2024) OUTRAGEOUS!

I went through a very complicated situation that doesn't even make sense. I went to buy some alcoholic beverages, which they only sell in that place. As soon as I went to pay for them, the cashier asked me for my ID. I gave her my passport since the duty is supposed to be to check the age as a precaution for the sale of minors as soon as he took my passport he told me that he couldn't receive me since I didn't have a visa which I thought was ridiculous but I proceeded to give him my work authorization since he asked me for a Nevada ID he told me that I couldn't accept that either without explaining why since both IDs said my age, which I suppose is what they must be interested in. Both IDs were real but they simply refused to sell me something that surprised me since everywhere I go they don't. There are some problems with them, I don't know if the people in charge there have an immigration complex or what, but the fact that they hire employees with false documents does not mean that we all use them, some people do have legal status and a better immigration situation, well. Not all foreigners are from the same country. I hope they improve in terms of those they hire as supervisors because they are not doing their job well when checking the veracity of the documents.

I just went shopping there and I honestly feel like because I am light skinned Mexican and my husband is white they were being racist to us. Muestra respeto. Empleados irrespetuosos que se creen mejores que yo porque soy de piel clara y pensaron que estaba robando cuando vieron todo lo que hacía. Nunca volveré. Le diré a todos los que conozco que esta tienda no es buena. I used to work at stores that have self checkout machines and they are all the same cost alot of money and dont break like how we think, they work well, employees can stop them at any point if they "suspect" your stealing there was two employees a young woman and a young man CLEARLY watching me scan all my items and had to come over three times because the machine "kept breaking" yeah right i had only scanned not even 9 items so on average they came every third scan. You guys were rude as HELL to us why because my husband is white and I am light skinned? What that makes us theifs. Unbelievable they were less than 5 feet away from us and had a CLEAR view of what we were doing with nothing obstructing that view and they kept acting like the machine wasn't working right.. and one of them was like oh press this I have my own bag button over and over again and even with doing that (no we didn't have our own bag it was the stores bags) so why he wanted us to press that to begin with is beyond me because they still had to approve that what we were doing was "correct". Empleados groseros. Gente irrespetuosa. Racista. Todos necesitan una lección de respeto y cómo mostrar servicio al cliente. Me aseguraré de que ninguno de mis familiares o amigos vaya a esta tienda y trate con ninguna de estas personas que trabajan aquí. Never coming back ever. Después de que saqué mucho dinero de mis bolsillos, quisieron decirme que tuviera un buen día. What a Joke.

This is a pretty decent little Mexican store. They got great pricing on most of their produce. They've got a pretty extensive meat counter as well with everything from sausage to al pastor so definitely worth a visit. They do make their own bread as well and I think they have an area where you can buy bulk foods but I'll have to check next time I'm in :-)

I have shopped at Marketon since the day it opened. It used to be a Raley's. It's a perfect size store and laid out simple. The prices are always fair and usually below anywhere else. The employees are helpful and courteous. The butchers always cut any special cut of meat I need. The small deli counter always has something delicious. As for not allowing backpacks, I don't know of any store that allows them.

Authentic Mexican market and the meat section is legit. I will say you should be prepared to speak some Spanish as things do get lost in translation ?
