they will have you wait for the whole day to pick up the box. there phone answering system is very bad it will transfer you to Philippines . horrible experience. My schedule to pick up is 10:00 am to 2:00 pm . It's already 3:10 pm . No one's is showing up yet to pick up my boxes. Maybe they will pick up before Christmas or new year's. Who knows they won't give exact date . Or just let you know that they won't pick up my boxes at all !! They can careless about your time!! Next time just say we will start 6:00 pm to 10:00 an to pick up the boxes !!

It's getting a bit expensive, but it's the only reliable way to get a box to outlying areas in the Philippines.

Bad customer service and very unprofessional. I walked in there today to buy boxes and the front desk guy gave me an inappropriate comment about my body, in other words, he body-shamed me. I have used them a lot in the past to send some money home, but I discontinue because it is more convenient for me now to send money online via remitly. Basically, that employee has not seen me for a while and questioned me as, to why I have lost some weight. He did not even greet me nor smile at me. He asked me twice and I couldn't help so I told him that I am currently working in a warehouse doing production which is contributory to my weight loss. If he had been trained in proper customer service, he should not have made any inappropriate comments toward me or engaged in any unnecessary stuff that is beyond his limit. I got offended, irritated and uncomfortable especially when he told me that he liked my body before and added that being thin doesn't look good on me. He is probably right but I don't think it is suitable for him to make such comments. He had no idea what I had been through. To the LBC employees in Reno, please act professionally. You are not running your business in the Philippines.

Very friendly people! I send 2-4 boxes a year to the Phillipines and I haven't had any problems yet. They even offer pick up services for no extra coat

Just before Thursday is the best time to bring in parcels/ documents shipped to Manila because thats the pick-up sched. Mine arrived to recipient by Tuesday the following week which is a great deal when you consider Fedex charges $77 and DHL $110 for a pound of documents that promises almost same transit times.

After reading the other reviews, I definitely understand where the reviewers are coming from. It can be a challenge sometimes connecting with franchise owners whom are not strictly held to standard operating hours - I can only assume this is the reason they can get away with having arbitrary actual hours that contradict those posted on the door. It is best to try to call ahead and hope to pin down specific times when someone will actually be available.I also understand the other's review of their customer service experience. Some small business owners fail to adopt an others-centered service culture. This is definitely a place where if one wants to make friendly talk, the guest has to initiate it. With all that said, there aren't many alternatives for this service in town; not at the same cost rate anyway. So, improved experience relies on balanced expectations. It is primarily a place to ship goods. The things I have sent have been received intact. They provided the service I paid for. The transaction albeit not overly service-oriented, was brief, to the point, and efficient.

The customer service in this place is the worst. They go to lunch from noon till 2:15 pm and then when they finally open the door I walked in just to find they already let people in from back door. not very good business.

Great when their open, had to wait a few times when they we closed for the 2 hour lunch breaks. Bought my wifes air ticket to the P.I. there, but uncomfortable with them photocopying my credit card information.

I'm pretty sure they have ZERO respect and courtesy for other people's time. They have a sign on their door that says "Will return at 2:00pm" today, it's 2:15 and they just opened the door. Expect this branch to have "Filipino time" and on top of that arrogant front desk people. Every single time we come here, customer service DOES NOT exist and is not in their vocabulary. I always leave this place feeling irritated. I'd rather get a root canal than come here... The WORST!!!
