Such a disappointment. I sent an email asking some general questions about couches through their website and never got a response. I finally went in, ready to buy a couch, and was completely ignored by the one sales associate working. She was helping other customers, but didn't acknowledge my presence once during the 20 minutes I waited in the store. I suppose it felt much worse because they were just shooting the breeze about life, not even talking furniture.To add insult to injury, I had to listen to her recommend political candidates to the couple she was chatting with (who were new to town and not even registered to vote).The pieces in the showroom were incredibly ostentatious and felt ridiculous for 90% of homes in the Reno area. I'd skip this place all together, especially if you aren't willing to spend 3x more than what the furniture is worth.

Old blonde lady at the front instead of welcoming customers rather criticize their attire, and considered 40 degrees and snow in Reno isnt reason enough to wear jacket and boots, awkwardly follow us throughout the store! So Rude, does they non-essential retail employees arent to take customer service classes? She could of make a bill sale to furnish our entire house if she had! Aloha

Middle aged + blonde woman on front was the rudest employee I've ever to see... by taking a glimpse at my husband and i she decided to rudely criticize our attire by saying "oh so now you dress for winter in spring " ( This is Reno and it snowed up arrowcreek ma'm its 30 degrees i am going to wear boots), she also proceeded to awkwardly follow us throughout the store... yikes. You are better off taking our funds somewhere else where they are appreciated!

Nope don't even!! Rude from the moment we walked in the door. Then lurked and followed us around like we were gonna steal something. Crap designs anyway, didn't see anything we would have wanted. Laminated wood. Cheap

I ordered a bed frame for an adjustable bed. When I spoke to the sales person I was very clear about the bed and even showed her the picture of the frame I wanted explaining that my bed was adjustable and needed to be special ordered. She said she understood. It took 8 months to get the bed and when it arrived the salesperson ordered the wrong one. Now I have to wait another 8 months for the correct one and I felt the sales person could have cared less. You would think when you make a mistake you would do everything to try and resolve the issue but not the case here. So I am still waiting for the correct frame. I will never order from them again and will not recommend them to any of my friends.

We came in for a Stickley Morris Recliner and Mary Lew lead us right to the chair and informed us of the options included in the sale Stickley was having. In 30 minutes we got what we came in for, with beautiful options, and get to have our chair in 8 months or so (crazy lead times aside, that's the timing in furniture and some appliances these days). So happy with the experience and getting my dream chair! ? See Mary Lew, she's friendly and knowledgeable.

I have bought several gorgeous things for my home. The last purchase took forever to get here and I called, to be told that I should never have been told that it would come in that early. I called two weeks later - still not in. I called three weeks later and it was in, but they lost a good customer's phone number. I put the review on Google and the owner wrote a very rude response back and did not tell the truth. Love the store, needs a new owner!

We have been talking about painting the inside of our home for at least two years. But picking a different paint color and trying to match the new paint with new furniture was just too much. SO we never got it done. Finally my husband said would you get a decorator to come in so we can start doing something? I interviewed at least 5 and visited their stores to see how they would work with us. When I got to Juniper Hill, I stopped, sat down on a sofa and looked around. Hummmm I could live with that sofa, I could really like this fabric. Maybe this is the PLACE!!! We started working with Leona. She showed me sofas and fabric and when I asked about selecting paint she said of course, she could do that. I went home and told my husband. He said great lets get some ideas. SO she texted them literally the next day. Not just one set but 3 sets of fabrics and colors for us to see. We selected one right away and made an appointment for her to come out with the paint colors. WOW it was so easy. She gave us the paint colors and I took them to Kelly Moore paint and got samples. Tried them on the walls and we had the colors picked out that easily. THEN we picked the colors for the sofa. Not only the color but the fabric was important too. It had to be soft, it had to last a long time and it had to resist fading in the sun. Ha! So easy. Sunbrella now has lasting designer fabric in beautiful non-fading long lasting colors. WOW that was easy too. Now we wanted some window treatment. Leona had already thought of that and when she brought a sample fabric for the sofa to make sure it went with the rug, she brought samples for the window treatment out too. PERFECT! Now, who is going to do the window treatment? She had a name and contact number for D-Lux window covering. They came and measured, picked up the fabric from Juniper Hill and started the process. NOW to get the dining room chairs covered. Well that was not problem either, Leona had that fabric picked out which we ordered and then gave us the name of the upholster. Ok now we wanted the fire place faux painted. easy peasy. She has a contact and that is completed quickly and professionally. Again, so very easy. This entire process took about 8 weeks because of our travel and getting the painting complete. Sofas in, window treatment installed, chairs complete,fire place painted and now she comes out and within 15 minutes shows us where to put up all the artwork we took down. A M A Z I N G! WE are complete. We look around at our home and love everything she picked. AND again it was so easy. We could have never done all this without her. A huge thank you to Juniper Hills, all her contacts and especially to Leona.

If I could give zero stars, I would. It all comes down to customer service.... we purchased a solid wood dining room table off the showroom floor the day before Thanksgiving - the table was delivered same day, so I guess that single star was earned on delivery. The remaining story, however, explains why the lack of stars to follow: we realized after owning this table for 2 weeks that it was lopsided. 31" on one side, sloping down to 30" on the other. The base was two solid wood large pillars - one obviously longer than the other. When photos were shared and details were given - I was told that I only had 7 days after purchase to exchange said table... & they gave me a copy of my receipt to prove this rule of theirs. I looked up the table by the item number on the receipt and found that not only was the table supposed to be 30" tall, it also retailed for $1,300! We paid $1,800 (ON SALE from $2,300!!!!) I called the manufacturer and explained my situation - they said this is definitely a manufacturer defect, but that I needed to go thru the retailer to take care of it - when I expressed I needed to return this table & that I wanted a refund - they said I'll be hearing from their "repair man" I wrote back a simple - Pick up your lopsided table, we've disputed the charge with the credit card company, no repair, no exchange - pick up your table. The dispute went thru, I involved Nevada Consumer Affairs to verify the table was, in fact, lopsided etc... The credit card company never heard back from them meanwhile I had to put hours of proof into this dispute. They called me April with the audacity to claim that they "know for a fact that this table was perfect when it left our showroom" (!!!!!) So... we made the one pedestal grow an inch? The table was listed as 30" high. Soooooo.... how is this our fault? They picked up the table finally a few days later... Will never shop here again & I'm telling everyone I know...

I could not be happier with Juniper Hill Furniture. I am a newbie to Reno and had much decorating to do. My neighbor recommended Trish Dietze, owner of Juniper Hill. The store is warm and inviting and everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. It is a shame someone could give them a 1star, they are far from it. Perhaps that person is more adapted to a store like Mor where you can finish your house like everyone else in one swoop. If you want your house to be furnished with quality furniture, unique to your style, this is the place for you. I am so happy with the results of my family room and am now ready to finish the rest of the house. Love Trish and her whole team!
