Dirty everywhere, merchandise piled randomly in boxes blocking the aisles, no restroom. Incredibly rude and unhelpful salespeople. I was yelled at loudly for asking a simple question about buying foam. Cashier sprawled in lounge chair behind register, no greeting, no smile, no “thank you” obviously bored. Go anywhere else you can for craft supplies!

They are going out of business so it's a mad house in there. All the aisles are empty, the product is in buns in the walk way. The line was ridiculously long stretching almost back to the fabric counter. There not even anything good left in that store.

I went to spend my gift card before they went out of business only to be told I couldn't use it. I was there one week before and asked about it and was told they were not going out of business and the gift card would be fine! It still says Joann's on the front so they should honor the gift cards!

My cousin got me a $30 gift card and Joanne's won't take it because??????? BECAUSE THEY ARE THIEVES! Money hungry thieves! Glad your closing people like you who run business like this is crooked. How can you take money from someone then say, sorry can't help you, sorry the money you put in the card, I kept it but now you can't buy anything with it. THIEVES

This store is so poorly managed. I hate shopping here b/c it is such a jumbled mess, the staff are so overworked and underpaid that they often forget to be friendly or helpful -pointing in the general direction of the store, instead of naming an aisle and location therein. The last time I needed something, I walked in, saw the same conditions as always, and immediately turned around and left. My time is too valuable to wade through that mess again, to be, as usual, disappointed because the thing I need is not in stock (probably in one of the many many unpacked boxes littering the aisles.) It’s really a safety hazard. If I wanted an over-crowded thrift store vibe, I’d shop a thrift store. Nothing about this place sparks creativity. It’s a dump!

Unable to get any pick up orders filled and the store is a mess with stock everywhere. Employees complain they do not have enough staff so it is what it is. Do not waste your time trying to get a pick up order they will wait 3 days to reject your order and send you a free shipping code.

Did a pick up order because they were having a discount. Worse decision ever. I waited for a notification before I headed out of town and never received one. So I went to the store to see if they had it ready by chance, the lady up front told me I could just grab my items and then they would fulfill it for me. But the store is a mess, there is yarn and fabric everywhere and it’s dirty. I couldn’t find all of my colors of yarn I ordered so they ended up cancelling over half my order. It was the most inconvenient trip, and they only had one girl working the counter that was completely swamped.

The only reason this store even gets two stars is because they had the fabric I needed. Otherwise this would easily get 0 stars!
The store has basically no organization to it. The store manager with purple hair, was unpleasant to down right rood. The staff is incredibly unhelpful. The cleanliness of the store is dirty. No public restrooms available. I hope that I’ll never have to revisit this store, ever again! It honestly looks as if it’s already out of business.

at one time, Joann fabrics was great. When you fail to properly pay your employees or give them the time to stock this is the trickle effect that occurs. It is really sad because they have a great selection of yarn and fabrics, but you cannot locate any of it. It is never stocked, and the boxes are so high that you are not allowed to look through them as it is a safety hazard.

What a useless store and staff. Managers are always such Karens and the store never has ANYTHING I need. Without fail I always have to hit Michael’s or something instead. Just go to another craft store and save yourself the hassle. I hope they close for good and let another hobby shop take over.

Over half the shelves are empty with items in wrong locations and open boxes with inventory all over the place. I’m not sure if they recently moved to a new location but it seems like they gave up a long time ago trying to put the store in order. The employees were also extremely rude and unprofessional when asked for help, on multiple occasions. I would recommend buying online and having it shipped to you rather than buying in person or buying online for in store pickup.

I remember coming here when I was younger and it is vastly different from then, in a bad way. During Black Friday I had gone there to view fabrics and the further back in the store I went the messier it was. Boxes everywhere, dirty floors, blocked off aisles from the unorganized boxes. I purchased my items online because the online deals were better than in store. I waited 2 full days with no updates, I called FIVE times throughout a day, no answer whatsoever. So i went in store and was told the orders are being worked on, The girl at the register was very sweet. Then 2 days after that my order is cancelled and the reasoning is “We’re so sorry!” I would not recommend this place based off the fact that the service provided is extremely unprofessional.

I avoid shopping in person here now because everything is incredibly unorganized, poorly stocked, and dirty. I decided to try online ordering with in store pickup since there are always promotions online for this, and my experience with this was completely abysmal as well. 8 full days after my order was placed, without explanation the store cancelled my order, even though all of my items still show as in stock in the store. Of course it’s Christmas and I had been counting on some of these items for making gifts, so this is extra infuriating. Plus, now the sales are no longer active for these items, so even if I did want to go brave the store and get them in person I’d be paying more.
Go to Sierra Quilting on South Virginia if you are looking for wonderful high quality fabric and sewing notions. If you stick with Joann’s, do yourself a favor and choose online purchasing + shipping only.

Guess I hadn't been to this Joann's in a long time.. but it still looked outdated, and the sign lights not on. I walked in and it was like a tornado went through a flea market. I had 15 minutes before they closed. The sewing isles of ribbon were bare with a handful of colors left. I thought that was due to the holiday season.(Nope) I asked the woman behind the cutting table if that was the only spot for ribbon. She looked at me and said.. the Christmas ribbon is upfront marked down. Uh? 🤔 I didn't ask for Christmas ribbon... But ok.. I was speed walking trying to find the 3 little items I needed for the night. Go down one isle and completely blocked off either by isle dividers, or freight. Definitely not handicap accessible! And so on with more than 30% of the isles. I saw the one lady and I was about to ask her.... When she pointed and said the check out is up front. I said yes it is and I still have 10 minutes, I am looking for boning. She said oh yeah that's back here but I have to cut it and it sells by the yard. I said ok and how much is a yard, she seemed annoyed gave me a ratio of two numbers and had absolutely no intention of getting me any. So, I walked up front and waited in line for longer than 10 minutes the time she could have already retrieved the item I needed. I said something but she had no interest. I said you must have plans tonight.. it is New Year's Eve.. she said nope.. I'm going home to knit. 🤦🏽♀️Then comes Sharon the cashier... Wearing her WalMart NAME BADGE!??? 😮 When it was finally my turn I asked her about a bobbin issue.. and she looked like I was speaking Klingon language to her. I said you don't sew or know about sewing she said nope . It wasn't a requirement to know. Maybe not, but if you want to provide excellent customer service and maybe not be a cashier forever maybe know a little bit about the products you are ringing up. I asked her if the store always looked like tonight, she rolled her eyes and said she was tired of answering strangers questions. I corrected her and reminded her I was a customer..not a stranger.. she said well obviously you don't come in much. And I said you're right... And I won't be back either... I'm surprised that the store remains open.

Used to be a good store but I went there for fabric today and I had to leave with nothing. The store looks like it was hit by a tornado. Completely disorganized. Nobody around to cut fabric and no way of calling anyone. Fabric counter was buried under a bunch of stuff so they would have had to spend at least 5 minutes digging it out to cut fabric. The only employee i did ever see was too busy flapping her jaws with a friend to even dream of helping anyone. So disappointed.
