This hotel gets four stars. I've stayed at this hotel, at least four times now. It's not brand new, but it is clean. The complimentary breakfast is included. The breakfast is typically like some kind of breakfast protein such as bacon, then they have the bread selection and they have a cereal selection and they have juices and oatmeal and fruit. It's not a bad breakfast to be honest and it's nice that it's complimentary. If you get a room with two queen beds, there's not a lot of space on one side of the bed to get out of the bed but honestly it's not that big of a deal. The rooms include a mini fridge, but no microwave. The only thing I think I really don't like about the room to be honest is that the sink is right in front of the bed so if you have to wash your hands in the middle of the night, you will probably wake whoever else is up in the room because the sink is not in the actual like bathroom behind a closed door. I would recommend staying here if it's a good price. Also a tip, the odd numbered rooms face the airport, the even number rooms face the freeway, in case a view is important to you.

The room was okay. For a fairly new hotel, I'm disappointed that maintenance of the bathroom and sink area had issues. The drain cover in the shower was loose on one side, causing a safety hazard. Reporting to the front desk resulted in no action by maintenance. Additionally, the cover for the heat pump was broken, and getting the heating and cooling needed to be forced on and off. Lastly, there are no USB ports anywhere. On a positive note, the bed was extremely comfortable.

We stay here because of the park and fly. Very convenient. We have stayed here several times in the last few years. We have eaten dinner at the restaurant and it is perfect for a small bar meal and a drink. However..,our number one complaint is the breakfast. The hot selections are terrible. Scrambled eggs not only look fake they are tasteless. Where are all these place’s getting them and have they ever tried them? We had tortillas and chorizo this morning which I couldn’t try based on appearance alone. I had a banana. It was perfect. Lastly about the dining area. The hole in the cabinet for the food waste is so small all the food gets spilled on the top. Looks terribleThe rooms are dated yes and the carpet stained. Their lotion smells rancid which I wrote a letter about awhile ago. But, will we come again? We have to, for the location to the airport.

This hotel was so close to the airport. It was amazing to drive 3 min. after a late night flight. The rooms were a bit dated, but very nice and clean! The breakfast was the best out of the 5 hotels we stayed in on our trip! I loved the fresh berries!

It’s comfy, clean and quiet. I wouldn’t say it’s the best or nice looking, but it’s a safe location and right next to the airport. They also have a restaurant and bar, but very minimal menusFree breakfast and parking. Free shuttles to airport as well

Avoid Hyatt and this property. Hidden fees. Booked a reward stay with points and was never informed during booking process on app that there was a $75 pet fee for this hotel. Also don’t recall being informed of fee at check in or check out. Contacted customer service but they were not helpful and couldn’t tell me where I was informed but were adamant that charge was not refundable.

I give this hotel a 2 for management issues. When I arrived, there was no hot water. It finally came on at 11pm. I couldn’t get a receipt when I checked out because there was no printer services. As of this review 11 hours later, I still have no receipt. The service at the bar/counter/check in was delightful. The location is great. The room was nice. But, management needs to take note and see that services are working properly.

I've stayed here a couple of times and it just seems to get worse. There were big stains on the carpet on the room, the gallery host at the time started their name started with an M forgot to make our food and was rude about the whole thing. The gallery host also didn't know if the pool was heater or not. Felt like that should be knowledge the gallery host would have. The breakfast was also lacking in Hyatt standards that I'm use too. The toaster was broken and it's a black and Decker. You should be able to go buy that $40 toaster again.(see pictures). The food was just okay be we had to ask for everything to be stocked so that we could eat. We arrived at 9:45 about 15 before breakfast was ending. The place to eat was dirty we had to request a wet towel and the condiments were no exceptions. So sad this is the only Hyatt in Reno. I might have to find a new hotel to stay at when I visit. The ONE good thing I can talk about is the front desk agent named Grissel. I believe that's how you spelling it. Apologies if I butchered it. She checked us in, was very friendly, quick to acknowledge us when we walked in and made us feel special while checking in. Thank you Grissel!

Pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was. Great location next to the airport and a freeway, but still managed to be quiet. Very nice rooms. Breakfast was a little weak compared to other hotels, but enough for a few days.

To be honest, I haven't been so disgusted with a hotel property, and this place claims to be a Hyatt. Two things come to mind and it has to do with cleanliness. Trash bins are overflowing and it's not just near the elevators. First day of breakfast was depressing - just scrambled eggs, sausage, & pre-made waffles. Of course it has the usual bread, cereals, & fruit. The butter was a bit hard, so I wanted to use the microwave to soften it a bit. The microwave was so dirty with caked on food, I had to hold it in to not vomit. Second day of breakfast was actually good, but I was already traumatized with that microwave, so I avoided it and subsequently the butter and toast. Rooms were decent enough, but the pull out sofa was a bit stained here and there. My curtains couldn't close all the way, so I had to use a clothes hanger to keep it closed. When I checked in, there was no mention of being acknowledged as an Explorist nor was anything explained to me like the complimentary bottled water. I think I also got one of the worst rooms. I was on the second floor on the airport side facing the main entrance where vehicles turning in would constantly shine into my room. Your choice is either the airport side or the freeway side. It's like staff just didn't care.

This place has really gone downhill since it opened. I'm loyal to Hyatt, and this is the only Hyatt property in Reno. I only stay here because I have no other choice, and because Reno doesn't have any better non-Hyatt hotels that I'm aware of. The stay here is... barely passable. I get sad if I have to stay here more than one night. It feels like a run down Hyatt House with several long term residents and many dogs. I've never experienced that at a Hyatt Place before. The rooms are $200ish, but they do not do housekeeping - I assume they're short staffed. The complimentary breakfast is inedible, and there is no other real options for food at this hotel. Thankfully there are many restaurants a short drive away. I just checked out of a three night stay and am glad to be out of there. The walls are thin, the long term residents are sketchy. I had to sleep with earplugs to avoid the sounds of loud angry neighbors & kids. The pool smells terrible, the gym is fine, and the jacuzzi is lukewarm. This hotel used to be great, but it's really run down. I was not welcomed or acknowledged as a Hyatt Globalist. Their wifi works okay, but TV streaming via Google is spotty.

Stayed here the night of July 27th. Was shocked that this is a Hyatt Place. We've stayed in dozens of Hyatt Places around the country and this location didn't feel true to the brand. Luckily we used points but the going rate was $380 on a Thursday! We would've felt really ripped off if we paid that - first room the bathroom sink didn't drain. Got another room and in both, the paint was chipped and stains on the carpet. The breakfast was a packaged burrito and packaged granola bars and oatmeal cups. They did have some fresh sausage and fruit.Good part is it's literally across the street from the airport but we didn't hear any planes. Freeway was kind of loud. When we questioned the $380 going rate, the very friendly clerk said they're full almost nightly. Just seems like capitalism run amok that it can be not well kept and charged top rates for what it is.

This is a good mid-level hotel stay with comfortable accommodations, a free hot breakfast, good location, and an extremely helpful staff. My complaints would be largely out of staff control #1 there was a lot of noise at night thumping, banging etc and #2 the decor choices unnecessarily date the property. It's a well maintained property but the color scheme makes it look yellowed/dingy and older than it is. We would not hesitate to stay here again but we would request a top floor corner room to hopefully have quiet.
