Took three rooms to get settled. First room was reeking with cigarette smoke, 2nd room would not open, third room was okay. Need to hire professional painters to paint your rooms and building. The rooms are hap hazzardly painted and other surfaces that do not need paint got paint on them, over sprayed, hand prints and smeard paint.Safety: During our stay, there were tenants on the third floor fighting and clothes/ suitcase was set on fire and thrown from the third floor. It kept burning when it landed on the ground floor.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. It was so dirty. I do not recommend this hotel just spend a little more money and stay at circus circus across the street. The manager is rude as hell wouldn't give me a refund. There was old moldy food in the mini fridge and old melted cheese stuck to the microwave. I paid 400 for this nasty room. Never again.

I read some reviews. I have to say they can really be misleading. First off it's Downtown any and every where downtown is a little sketchy. The only loud noise I heard were just trucks passing. I seen no vagrants around. Christina at the front desk is the best. She was irritated with her job or anything. When I checked in the staff was actually having a very laughable conversation. The rooms are great. Mini fridge, microwave.Rooms: Nice big family roomsWalkability: You are literally near everything you needNoteworthy details: Christina is the best. Very helpful ??

A$$holes won't return my $100 deposit because there was allegedly there was a blood stain on the sheet. I doubt the sheet cost $100. Apparently I have to take them to court in order to get my money returned.

Dirty, very noisy all night long cause rooms are not sound proof. Breakfast and housekeeping was non existent. Never again at a Wyndham in Reno. I think this place rents rooms by the hour.Food & drinks: A single muffin with watered down juice is not any kind of breakfast Housekeeping did not exist

You think that's bad, you are absolutely right the place is run by Rachel who has no clue. A room door was kicked in with tenants still there and she didn't know until a week later. She tried to explain errors on a customer's fees and she stumbled explaining it to him, And because I refused to write down something that was simple and already memorized, she in her usual and condescending attitude offered me to leave, so I did. Now she is slow playing me for payment of 6 hours, needless to this has been reported to the labor board.

First off, this is horribly ran and not well taken care of. The rooms are alright, but you can tell they kind of just haphazardly do everything and don’t take any pride in their property. Their parking is atrocious. And also, they didn’t tell me when I checked in that breakfast stopped at 9, so I though like every other hotel/motel I’d need to, it’d be 10am, but when I got there shortly after 9, they told me I’d just missed it and then pointed to a small placard on the wall behind the desk (not very noticeable at all) that said it ended at 9 and that I should have read that when I was checking in.Also, had several issues with my keycard while staying and they said they knew there were issues with them, they just weren’t fixing them.

Worst hotel stay in my life. Card key was problematic. When report to front desk they said yeah, we know it is a problem. Did not provide us with a room. Building is old dated and not well maintained. Very noisy with street traffic. Would be a bad deal if the cost was only 25 cents per

Very terrible. We went when they had snow they didn't do anything to their parking lot that had frozen over. No breakfast as advertised because covid-19 there are no more restrictions so just say you aren't doing breakfast. The room was small decorated poor. The bathroom was terrible the floor was coming up there was water damage around toilet there was something weird on the ceilings don't stay here not worth any money.

I reserved a non smoking room, got a disgustingly stinky smoking room. At mid 1 AM, they switched us and gave us air freshener. The toilet ran all night. Beds weren't as uncomfortable as they looked.Area was surprisingly quiet. It'll do in a pinch.When I reserved the reservation said free breakfast.... there wasn't.Very strange experience for sure.

the day i left the cops were there for the front desk attendant. room smelled like a sewer. hair all over my room. bugs in my bed and no pillowcases for your blood stained bedding. charged me 100 twice for the security deposit they said would drop off my bank account. read the reviews and you’ll learn they’re running a racket. free breakfast is a lie. the place is staffed by tweakers, but they were all nice to me. you could walk right out the door and smoke on the balcony which was convenient, as well as having a nice view from the north side.

This place is a total dump and the staff clearly hate their lives, jobs, and especially their clients. I was given a hotel room with a shower that didn't work. I didn't notice until about an hour before checkout that my shower wasn't working, as this is the time I'd normally shower before heading out. Instead, I checked out and asked for at least a partial refund, if not a full refund, for the huge inconvenience. The staff person on duty rudely asked me why i didn't alert them of the situation the night before, I told her I don't shower at night so I had no way of knowing my shower wasn't working until now. God forbid I assume I have a working shower and don't need to check things the night before. She rudely tells me that I will not be receiving any refund and is insinuating that I'm just trying to scam her to get my money back. She tells me all the showers work, over and over again, as I stand there speechless in disbelief. I eventually left without getting a refund and will never be spending another dollar at any Howard Johnson location
