I ordered custom blinds and we(them/me) had reversed the measurements on the width and height, since it was a special order, refunds are not allowed. The returns cashier, blinds/curtains specialist, and manager(needed to approve the return) we're all amazing. This Home Depot goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. I never hesitate to buy from this store because if I need to take something back, these guys have a lot of empathy and treats each transaction case by case and makes judgements that go beyond store policy. Thank you store 3311! Your team rocks!!!

For review purposes, I think it is fair to compare Home Depot locations to each other. And this location has always been reliable for us.We moved to Reno 10 years ago from Southern California. It was always a stressful experience when I went to the Home Depot near our old house. Before, I could rarely find someone to assist me and if I did they typically made me feel they were put out and/or didn't have an answer. The first time I stepped into this Reno location, it was a completely different experience! I had SEVERAL people asking me if I needed help - I didn't need to seek out anyone! And if they didn't know the answer to my question, they would go out of their way to find an answer. Over the years, my visits here have always been positive. The people are friendly and helpful. And the store is kept neat and pretty well stocked. My only minor complaint is that I wish they had a tap option to pay at the self-checkout stations. I imagine that change will come with time.After coming here a couple times just this week, I realize I need to give them a shout out! In particular, to Logan in the paint department! He patiently helped me both times and knew exactly what I needed for two separate DIY jobs. After following his directions, our mailbox looks brand new!

customer service is always top notch but has anyone else noticed their plants - annuals and perennials - are lacking in care? unless i get there on the delivery day what's left over for the next couple of days are dry, wilted, dead plants - no one seems to take care of them after they're delivered...

No interest in helping really, everything is half done. We ordered same day delivery for a couple LED bulbs. They dropped off the wrong order at our house- patio umbrella. Packing slip showed the correct delivery address which wasn't my home.My wife called to let them know. They could care less. Did not offer to come pick up the item snd get us the correct one. I drive over the next morning to do the exchange. Amazing.

Rented the flat bed truck for an hour and was upcharged for fuel on return even though I put fuel in the truck. They claimed it was at a higher level when it was rented but that was based on supervisor checking the vehicle and saying it was at 7/8 tank at first. When I returned it they claimed it was 13/16's, even though I drove less than 16 miles and actually put in 1.5 gallons. They method of verification lacked accuracy and logic. They also claimed there was no way to reverse the charge after the rental was finished, although they could have stated this before completing the transaction as I returned the vehicle 15 minutes early. Dishonest, unhelpful, disappointing experience.

Not sure why this HD has only 2.5 average because the people working here are always insanely helpful and happy to help. I have used HD for many things from painting, fans, lights, gardening, creating my own water cooling tower, and even renting a flatbed truck. They have always gone above and beyond here. Even the younger high school kids who truly seem to enjoy their jobs at HD. Every time I have a project and need that extra bit of help realizing it, the staff here are excited to talk through the project and give input on which supplies I will need.

Jack and Paul saved the day. Our project was going the wrong direction. Jack suggested we should go a completely different direction with our project, Paul agree. They took the time to show us exactly how to do that. It worked out perfectly. It may have taken a little longer but it was well worth it. The snow is no longer a problem. I feel like it is so easy to report the negative about places. Too many people want to share a bad experience so the good ones seem to fall away. I went to Home Depot on Virginia street today and had the most amazing experience. I was checked out by the kindest and most amazing person named Dylan. He was more than diligent and attentive. I lost my keys and he offered to watch my cart while I tried to find them. The manager James double checked if I had found them! The customer service here is absolutely top notch! They should help with other stores customer service. I am grateful for all the time and consideration they provide!

Do not I repeat do not use Home Depot for flooring purchase and installation. We ordered vinyl laminate flooring in April for our vacation home in Truckee. Home Depot had no idea what was going on with our order the whole time. The contractors they use are Romanoff Renovations and a 2 day job turned into 3 months. In the end the job was not satisfactory. After 6 different visits and installers I just said no more! I will get the job fixed with another flooring company. I'm not sure how a Romanoff is even in business. The problem is that you pay for the job before it's even done thru Home Depot. You you literally have no recourse. Again never ever use Home Depot for this type of job!

Flooring was ordered back in May and scheduled for installation in early July. Two weeks before installation was scheduled to start, flooring still had not showed up. I called them and asked, where's the flooring. Their reply was it won't arrive until August. Would it have been that hard to let me know? I don't think they have told the installer yet so he'll show up and there will be nothing to install. Thanks Home Depot!

Yesterday, I went to Home Depot off 80/MacCarran about 4 times for supplies for the house renovation project we've been working on in NW Reno.Our previous tenant Dani and her kids totally trashed the house before they left, and let their dog urinate over every single baseboard and every piece of carpet in the house. We had mold problems in a couple of the rooms, toys and food inside the air vents in the floor (WTF), and we ended up having to replace every single baseboard in the entire place, had to completely rip out the carpets and replace it with hardwood laminate flooring, and even had to replace some of the door frames. I just can't believe that a relatively young mom with a seemingly good job (I suppose working at the credit union on Robb Dr seems like a good job) could let her kids live like that. It was hard to breathe in there, with all the urine stench.Anyway, we are nearing the completion of the project, and I needed a couple odds and ends. I was trying to fix a light fixture in one of the bathrooms, and approached Jon in the paint section to ask a question. He was busy, but left the paint area to help me find the things I was looking for, and even gave me some cost saving tips. Jon was sooo helpful in getting us the info and equipment we needed for our house renovation project in NW Reno!I'm so glad I walked up to him. THANK YOU JON!!!

Specifically for their flooring services.... I paid for flooring for my Truckee, CA house through The Home Depot in Reno. They contracted the work to Romanoff. I paid for the job on 05/21/2019. The job was finally finished 07/24/2020. If you use The Home Depot for your flooring job, brace yourself. They will blame Romanoff for everything. Romanoff will blame The Home Depot for everything. YOU will be stuck in the middle, and for a very long time I might add.That's right, OVER ONE YEAR to do a simple flooring job.

I had a delivery scheduled today (4-23) and was told I would receive a phone call the day before giving me a 4 hr time frame. I tried several times the day before trying to find out, using their phone number (1hour on hold-finally hung up) Texted, and this morning I called the store and was told rudely it would be there sometime today between 6 am and 8pm. 16 hours after sending the text they responded. After texting back and forth with an hour or so in between responses they tell me the product didn't get shipped from the warehouse and won't be delivered today. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE EVER. Only use Home Depot as last resort. They don't care about customers-only money.
