Overall i do like Home Depot. A couple week's ago I came into this location needing to get a tree stand and a Christmas tree. There were 4 employee's standing near the Christmas area so i walked up to ask a question and all of them walked away. One female employee happened to walk by and asked if i needed help with anything. As I explained what i was in search of,she walked me to the area. I picked out my tree and she said I'll send out the guy who cuts the ends off the tree. I waited almost 20min. Never buy Christmas tree's here. The tree i bought lasted a little over 2weeks. I kept water in it & used the tree reserve and it didn't last.

Horrible Home Depot! Bad customer service and their manager Holly is a joke! Trying to check out using my pro account and after putting in my information the pro account came up but would not let me use my 10% off coupon that goes with my account. Don't try and spend over $1000 at Home Depot and then use your 10% off coupon

Way too much stuff in the aisles. It's gotten to the point where it's difficult to maneuver with carts and around other people.

Why I Like Home Depot better than Lowes: I'm getting new window coverings installed (referred by Home Depot), and while installation was included in the price, deconstruction was not - so its up to me to take down the old stuff....and patch and paint BEFORE the installers get here. Well I do have a can of left over paint but I had been told it is too old to use. So I went to Lowes (where it had been purchased) and told them the name of the color and asked to see if they still

Stopped by waiting for the hubby. I found perfect shrubs and a tree for the back plus it was 25% off! I always have good luck finding what I want here. The load was too heavy for me to load plus it wouldn't fit in the Suv! That's where the 4Runner comes in handy! I can't believe how much we saved compared to out other nursery we have been buying from.

Well everyone is so familiar with Home Depot it probably doesn't seem necessary to do a review. However sometimes someone is so helpful that something needs to be said. First, this Home Depot has a nice happy feel just walking in. Lots of hustle! We went directly to the nursery and met up with Joey who was really HELPFUL! I learned more in a few minutes than I did researching on the internet! Turns out Joey has been in THIS Home Depot Nursery for 20 years! He really knows his business. He tells it like it is. He says Home Depot REALLY does honor the guarantee on the plants they sell so be sure to save your receipt if that's important to you! I know the next time I need plants I'm coming back here even though it is not the closest Home Depot to my house! It's hard to find people who KNOW plants! I also needed help in the paint department. Denise was another AweSome employee in this store. SIDE NOTE...After leaving HD we needed to look at something only Lowes sells. We rarely shop at Lowe's because we're just Home Depot People I guess. What a huge difference. The Lowes felt dead. Nobody in there. Took 20 minutes to get help with questions about an item they supposedly had but didn't. The guy in Lowes Plumbing said he'd be right back...15 minutes later I saw him head down an isle away from me and I hollered...he turned around and yelling...not politely...said YEAH I'LL GET THERE. Several more minutes later he showed up. Unfortunately he didn't know much about what we wanted! Pretty much a waste of time. I have never received rude treatment from anyone at any Home Depot in decades of shopping. Joey and Denise are just two who impressed me yesterday. But there were actually a couple more smiling faces that added to the pleasantness of shopping here! If you find this review useful please vote!

Seems like they have upped their customer service game. Every one was very polite, professional and helpful and there was plenty of staff to ask for help. The reason for only 4 stars is because they have WAY to much stuff crammed into aisles. You can't even pass someone else in that same aisle. The aisles in front of the checkouts are so full 1 person can barely get through. There is also to much stuff outside. Can't drive thru without the possibility of hitting someone. There also aren't enough wood carrying carts. We found everything we needed so they seem to be well stocked.

Friendly staff, also knowledgeable. Well stocked. The only downfall is the displays in the main aisles makes it hard to maneuver around.

Nobody in this place could tell me where the concrete cleaner is. Can you say "retraining ". Going to their competition before I come back here. Useless.

We went to Home Depot on a Mission. We had been all over town looking for a specific mirror and had struck out. We live in Sparks but ended up in South Reno. Not only did this store have my mirror, it came with a Super Knowledgeable employee named Karrie. She helped me find just the right hardware fir the mirror. She gave me choices and helped me find things on my list cutting my shopping time in half. It was late so it was Very Much Appreciated. I live down the street from the Sparks Home Depot and have always had to try and find someone to help me and they usually point and walk away. Thank you again for your Excellent Care Karrie. This Home Depot Rocks!

Went in looking for paint colors, ended up leaving super dissatisfied. One gentleman and two very young girls working the paint area and not one of them said hello or even made eye contact. For twenty minutes we browsed and still nothing except for hearing the girls drop the F-bomb multiple times. Went to walk around the store and noted that no one asked if we were okay and overheard very unprofessional conversation. I get it, I'm young. But there was no professionalism with the younger crowd. When we finally got help, the man was super nice and apologetic for his coworkers. We do not remember his name, but he was new and used to work at Harris for f&b. He gave us directions, then saw us still lost a few minutes later and walked us to the correct area. We would like to thank him for salvaging part of our experience at Home Depot today.

Do NOT!!!! I repeat DO NOT buy your appliances from here. It has been a disaster!! 4 days with no fridge as their 3rd party installers took out the old one but couldn't install the new one. Their 3rd party installers installed a damaged microwave and are refusing to replace it. I have spent 8 hours off work over 3 days to get these appliances installed and the managers do not keep their word! Go anywhere else!!!!

I've been shopping Home Depot at the Virginia Street, Reno NV, location and spent thousands of dollars there over the years. Best kept secret is their consumer credit card. Get it. It extends your returns to one full year! Never had a problem at any of their locations really. Their website has better deals than other online stores. Plus, you still get their same great online guarantee, and you can return the items you buy online at any Home Depot store.
