I'm a contractor and I know my way around Home Depots. However, I couldn't find a few items and was looking up and down the aisles. I had five people say hello to me and ask how I was doing but not one of them asked if I needed help finding anything. Darryl in electric did approach me and say hello and strike up a conversation but that's only because I knew him. I even had to ask him to help me find something. Very poor customer service from this location.

If you need assistance, this is the location. I was asked at less 5x if I needed help. Everyone there was very helpful and knew where to go to find everything I needed.

It's bad enough trying to find an employee to get a quick question answered. But worse is when they spot you looking for help 100 ft' way and run from you like oil parts from water. Ya, good lord if it's that bad then why even work there. I had to say excuse me four times loudly before this employee knew the gig was up and had to turn around and acknowledge me. And all I wanted to know was what isle the light bulbs were on. These people suck. Suck bad!

I've been purchasing wood pellets from HD to heat my home while my very old (33 years) Coleman furnace is under repair. I really liked the Cascade brand they used to carry but this year they have Lignetics Green Supreme wood pellets in stock. These pellets are Douglas fir which burns hot and supposed to be low ash. They do put out a good amount of heat but are not as low ash as Cascade and I need to vacuum the hopper frequently. These new pellets are $7.48/bag which is up $1/bag from the Cascades purchased in 2022. I'm really pleased with their service in the Garden Center where they load bags on a flat cart and into my vehicle for me.

Matt D from flooring/shelving was a huge help. I needed to track down a product's availability, unfortunately the product was unavailable. Although Matt helped me find a same day alternative for a project with a strict time frame.

Quality/Quantity - Consistent. Most locations have similar formats, so easy for a DIY person like myself that is always in a hurry. :) Atmosphere - Consistent. Not really easy in and out, only one entrance off a very busy road. Plenty of mall parking. Starbucks in the same parking lot, amazing I did not go today. :) Open 7 days a week from 6am to 10pm, and on Sundays from 7am to 8pm. Service - Self service, so GREAT. Price - Best value around, thank you. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success since 1978, now with 2,312 locations and growing. Ranked #5 (2020) on the Fortune 500.

Short, abrasive, and disrespectful. I had an item where the tag had fallen off, and the employee at self check out told me I'd need a new one. I asked if I should get another- as I would've been glad to- but she said nothing and walked away. I waited for 5-8 minutes while she panicked and scurried over what seems like a pretty standard issue, hovering over and interrogating me about the item as if I was suspect. I suggested it may be down the aisle we were next to as I was shopping there, and she immediately lashed out at me, saying she knew what the item was and that it wouldn't be down that aisle. I told her I was just trying to help find it, and she said I didn't know what I was talking about. Fast forward another 5 minutes and I pay for my items, and go looking for the item on my own, just to find it where the employee said it couldn't be. I found this entire interaction unnecessary, and indicative of what expectations are set for the staff here.

So we came in Saturday afternoon wanting to order French doors for our patio deck. we had already done the research got the measurements and I needed to special order the size. I had already removed the sliding glass door on our deck, and just had plywood blocking nature. We went to that windows/doors counter and waited for maybe 10 minutes? Nobody showed up. So I found a couple of workers, I asked him if they worked in the doors and windows, they did not, but the guy got on the radio and told them that there was people waiting. About 10 more minutes past, and finally my wife started going upfront to find out why no one came back to take our order. After 30 minutes, I called the main number told the person that answered I needed to get someone to windows/doors for special order, she put me on hold... now we are pushing close to 45 minutes and after my wife asked me in the front, me talking to two separate workers, and Colleen. We just up and left. Went to Lowe's and ordered a Jen - weld Set of French doors. I have never shopped at Lowe's before, looks pretty similar, however we had great service at Lowe's... Price was about the same

Robert in costumer service was so rude. Definitely seemed like he didn't like his job. He saw me waiting in line at costumer service and just tried to look busy shuffling papers/ tapping on the computer. Then when the line grew he finally decided to work. Then belittled me when I asked for help getting a forklift to get pavers and ends up not telling me about needing to buy a pallet too so it took over an hour to get the pavers thanks to other employees hard work. Then when I came back because they forgot a paver, he harassed me as I came in and followed me out giving me rude looks. Just a very bad experience !!! Please get rid of Robert

Customer service is not what it used to be. Maybe they're short staffed? Idk, waited about 20 minutes to get something from their locked up area, no one showed up.

I have been in Reno for 16 months and have made numerous trips to this location while doing minor remodeling. Even though it's a fairly busy location, I have always received above average customer service. Today, Sunday, they were very busy, I needed several different cans of paint, the young lady that helped me was fantastic, the paint was ready in ten minutes and she couldn't have been more helpful. I also needed to make a return and I was finished in 5 minutes. This store and it's employees are a real credit to the local community. Thank you Home Depot.

Agree with a lot of the low reviews. In our case, don't bother to use any of their 3rd party recommendations. They don't do a good job managing them and only interested in making money from the referral. Example 1: Last year I got a quote to install a hot water heater. The guy that came from a company they contacted to come see me was terrible. I noticed gang tattoos on his hands. He wanted to charge $100 extra for an adapter and insisted I needed an expensive water alarm to meet building code, etc. The installation quote was $650 higher than from a company that Lowe's sent to my home and they did a great job without charging for extra connectors and not insisting I needed a separate alarm, etc. All of this was for the exact same model water heater. Example 2: Recently I was interested in a Generac home generator. They recommended a company with a terrible rating, complaints against the owner (he's really arrogant). Bottom line, I am not using any more Home Depot installers for anything. Not even going to ask.

Why do you allow your store employees to bully the elderly?
Why do you allow your employees to delay delivery? Why do you allow your store employees to cancel installation? Why do you allow your store employees to ignore customer service?
Customers beware that the store will take your money, delay the delivery and then cancel delivery and try to force you to hire a non licensed handyman that they demand you use instead of the installation that you paid and arranged for. Yes, they will actually refund your installation so that the service department says that they must do as the store says after they keep you on the phone for an hour asking you to please be patient. @homedepot how do you find it acceptable to make anyone wait months for installation and then try to bully them into paying for non Home Depot private handyman. It's all documented and that is after customer service promised that the store was told to stop interfering. The store has taken money yet refuses to install appliances as contracted and continues to make this elderly person go without a stove or microwave since April!!! When did Home Depot stop caring about the customer and allow actual abuse of the elderly? I would never have believed this after 3 separate customer service people apologized stating the store was 100% at fault and it's all documented. Corporate offices...please fix this horrible customer relations. I dumped my stock in this company once I realized that the store doesn't have to follow customer service resolutions. If I am wrong Home Depot please do something!

Busy today, everyone had the same idea to plant now that we're hopefully past the freezing weather! Beautiful day today so happy to get some new plants and soil to start my gardens! Lots of choices today, seems like the prices are higher then last year but what's new! Got some tomatoes, peppers and flowers in addition to some new soil! The aisles were hard to maneuver with so many plant carts waiting to be unloaded so that was my only complaint today. Long line to check out but friendly cashier! Can't wait to get planting!!
