I bought carpet from them a year ago for my new home and the entire process was seamless and professional. The installation was great, installer very courteous and professional, and the carpet is holding up very nicely. Highly recommend! Good value, as well.

Starla is amazing. She helped us pick out the best carpet for our needs and even gave us a discount. Benny, the installer, and his crew were fantastic. They carpeted out entire upstairs, our staircase and our living room in one day and did a beautiful job.
If every business was run like this exceptional, locally owned business, the world would be a much better place.

I came in to GCO Flooring Outlet in Reno to look for carpet for my new home. After working with Owner Stacy, I decided I wanted to create an oversized rug for my living room and runners for the entry and kitchen. I didn't know this could be created? This truly was fantastic experience and I enjoyed working with Stacy. There were so many choices and she gave me so many ideas. I am still trying to decide what I will do for my new home. I may hire their designer to come out and give me some styling ideas and bring out samples. I felt the value and pricing were very fair. The outlet is very large and really nice and clean. Working with Stacy was a dream. She cares about her customers and is so lovely to work with. This has been a 5 Star Customer Service experience working with Stacy and GCO flooring and Carpet Outlet in Reno. I can't wait to see what I choose. I will add to my review in the near future. I was referred here bec I needed carpet for a bedroom and closet. There were many remnants to choose from at a reasonable price. The saleswoman helped me decide on the best color, sold me carpet pad and even scheduled the installer. Would buy here again.

"Buyer beware!!" They don't guarantee their work & they won't! I tried to give them another chance, but they aren't comfortable with their own workmanship! You need to lower your expectations to work with this local business...

We were looking for the best carpet for a rental - and they knew exactly what we wanted. After choosing, they were courteous, professional and prompt. From shopping at the last minute, just before they closed - they still managed to cut the carpet and have it ready for our carpet guy to pick up first thing in morning. Well done!

I went to Gco trying to use a locally owned business and avoid the big box stores. I met with the owner and picked the carpet and one of my specific questions was do you have your own installers, I was told yes. I should have asked if GCO was the employer of the installers because they are not, they use sub contractors. Subcontractor 1 over measured by 250 sg ft or $800 on a 700sq ft carpet job. I called GCO and disputed the measurements since i have the blueprints and they sent out subcontractor 2. He got the measurements correct but charged 200 more than #1. So we went with #2, GCO was unable to explain to me the measurements differences or the cost difference since it is charged by the ft. Then install day. Installer showed up at 1130 for a 9 am appt. Didn't finish that day, dah. Said he would be back at 8am for day 2, made it at 930, closer but not to standard. If my house wasn't half carpeted I would have fired him that day. To be fair the carpet came out nice and met our expectations but what a circus. I can only imagine if the was an issue if GCO has the ability to resolve it.
