The rooms are a bit dated and can be jinkingly designed, I felt a was walking into a set of the 80s show "Dinasty". The service was spot on though especially the bell folks, the were very affient and friendly
Rooms: Dated, but clean

Staff was rude, particularly the "manager" Christina at the front desk. Honestly, there is no excuse to be rude to a guest. Our non smoking room had OBVIOUSLY been smoked in, and we requested a new room. She literally didn't utter a word as she smugly took our key, put us in a new room and handed back the key. Was it really that big a deal your guest who asked for a non smoking room get a room that wasn't smoked in? Ridiculous. Silver legacy was way nicer and we had a great interaction with the staff. They may be connected but it was a way better experience. As far as the location, anywhere downtown, especially outside can be sketchy.

Front desk manager (initials KM) was very rude and condescending. She was not helpful at all. I had an offer for a comped room Sunday thru Friday and she tried to tell me it didn’t include Friday! I had to call the 800 number and they were able to fix the issue. I got the Friday night comped. Millie’s closed earlier than their advertised 2pm, and it was hot, AC wasn’t working well. Food prices have gone up, while quantity and quality have gone down. This was not a good birthday trip….will consider going elsewhere in future

Hotel was great. I didn't get to spend any time exploring the hotel, but it looked like they had some really good restaurants. The hotel room was relatively quiet. The room decor was a little worn and dated, but the towels were big, soft, and fluffy.
Rooms: Nice rooms, decor was a little dated, but really good for the price. Relatively quiet.

Bad odds, slow service and nothing to make you feel comfortable or important.

Loved staying in the Row. Three casinos joined together. The o ly thing I didn't like was how often Eldarado closed their escalators going up to the conjoined level. It's a bit tough for us older folk with bad knees.

We stayed at El Dorado during our anniversary trip to Reno. When we checked in, they gave us a "nicer" room since it was our anniversary. The view was amazing, and we loved the room. The part of the bathroom where the shower and toilet are at has an awkward arrangement and is very small, but the shower is very large. There was a jacuzzi tub in the room (yes, in the room, not bathroom) which is very large, so it takes a very long time to fill up, but it was nice to have. The refrigerator is an ok size, there is a Keurig coffee maker in the room, but don't bother bringing leftovers back to the room because there isn't a microwave. There's a safe in the closet, a few hangers, and robes as well. If I were going to Reno again, I would stay there. The only real problem was the restaurants in The Row (includes El Dorado, Silver Legacy, and Circus Circus). They are outrageously expensive, even for breakfast. Plan on either buying some items for your room at a local grocery store or walk down to The Top Deck (I reviewed this restaurant as well) to eat. I'm just not paying $20+ each for breakfast or $60 for a steak! There are other restaurants in walking distance which are more reasonable.

I use to frequently stay here and loved it, i came for the first time in over a year this past weekend and it has gone down hill! At check in the woman was extremely rude for no reason. Our room smelled horrible, it was so bad a previous guest left an air freshener clipped to the vent, so clearly this is an on going problem! We finally had to move rooms to a smoking room which ended up smelling better than our previous room! The management literally do not care if you have a problem and they are extremely rude. The rooms ac don't work properly so in the summer heat it's very uncomfortable I was sweating while trying to get ready. Overall the hotel and rooms are out dated and dirty! Spend a few bucks more and actually enjoy your stay down the road at peppermill!

It's an older hotel, but I was in the renovated part. All three casinos included in "The Row" are all connected through escalators and walkways. Each restaurant I visited was delicious with impeccable service. The Roxy had amazing food and a friendly, soulful pianist. Slots were paying. Tables were hitting. Good portions of alcohol and the waitresses were available. Definitely returning!!

Trying to ask some questions prior to our visit was impossible. They will not transfer you to the front desk. The agents just hang up on you when they don't know the answer to questions. They are the rudest hospitality people I have ever had to deal with.

I'm going to say it was okay. Staff were very friendly, always having to ask how to get around. Problem with elevator didn't know you had to swipe your room key to get to room only found out by other guest. Was stuck trying to get to the room. Think they should tell you that. Thinking about this more , I don't think this is a secure issue. If you get on with someone who's going to a room, things could happen. So, from a safety or security point of view, I really don't feel secure. It doesn't stop a person from doing anything. Now we get to the other issues. Transportation to and from the hotel to the bowling center should have been explained that like it's across the street. No people told us that you have a bus that will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the center. Why again just say the center is a block away you could walk waiting for busses to come and ask are you going to the bowling center most of them said no. Then the fiasco with the airport and bus to take use of the hotel was another problem. I say bus but mean these box bus with hotel names on them. The food was expensive, and the service was good. They had discounts for bowlers, but what they have done was increase the price of food and give a discount percentage to bowlers. Mind you, they are making money. Hard enough to navigate through the hotel, but their escalators were, for some reason, not working well, so you had to navigate even more.
Rooms: The room was okay with what you expected from a hotel.
Nearby activities: Yes, they have nearby activities like the bowling center and other casinos. Places to eat.
Safety: Well, safety already talked about safety but never can't say enough about safety. The way they have elevators, I don't really feel safe. Anyone could get on the elevator and do anything, that's why better travel in groups. You never know who many want to do harm.
Walkability: Yes, you could walk lots of homeless individuals hanging around the area.
Food & drinks: Food and drink expensive you would think for a bowling event the prices would come down. Yeh, a percentage down that really says a lot about how they were trying to keep bowlers.
Noteworthy details: Yes, after taking two planes, which all had some issues with either oil leak delays to over crowded run ways to turbulence missing flight do to delays and finally arriving at the Las Vegas airport trying to find someone to direct us to get another flight that we missed and running around the airport only to find out that we should have gone to terminal 1 and we were running around the main airport then to catch a jittney to terminal 1 you have to find a jittney to termal 1 then go to you airline that you missed and explain what happened and then get place on a plane full. Airline telling me I needed to contact the airline that I was delayed but when you are on a plane to cannot use your phone so how was I to call to tell them I'm still on the ground waiting to take off. Have the captain of the plane call. Then it's back to the jittney to take us to the hotel. Which having to wait was long. Only two people are driving today. Well that's really not my problem it's there's and service should be provided. Then, when I called the hotel, the person who was trying to help really wasn't helping. We just landed hanging up because she could not understand what was being said. They need people personnel who can handle problems. Not read from a script. I think from the airport personnel to the jittney personnel to the hotel personnel, all of you need to work better for the consumer, not just for yourself.
