One year ago today, my Dolan Dodge nightmare began. My truck broke down leaving Burning Man and was towed to Dolan Dodge and was assigned to Greg.
Greg’s demeanour and attitude was appallingly bad right from moment one. (and I have the recorded conversations to prove this). Greg showed absolutely zero willingness to effectively communicate in regard to the status of my truck. At this point, my wife and I were a 24 hr drive from home (Calgary, AB) and just wanted to know if we should just fly home and return when the repairs were completed. My truck sat for 3 DAYS prior to any diagnostics be completed, even after explaining that my father had just gone into the hospital. I waited 13 days in Reno and on September 19th I had to take an emergency flight home as my father was not going to live for another 24 hours. I missed my father’s passing by 4 HOURS all thanks to GREG and his incompetence or unwillingness to communicate with customers, you know, the customers who pay salaries and keep the lights on. Just a little regard, would have gotten me home in time to say goodbye to my father.
Greg, it is my opinion that you are an incompetent human being and so is the rest of the Dolan Dodge crew. Rude receptionists, incompetence throughout the entire staff at this horrendous company. As a business owner and employer myself, if any of my employees behaved even remotely this way, they’d be terminated on the spot.
FOUR HOURS DOLAN DODGE. In 13 days waiting, in the end, all I needed was 4 hours.
You took that from me and it will NEVER be forgotten.
In my opinion, this is a company that cares ZERO for its customers.
Don’t waste your hard earned money with DOLAN DODGE!!!

. bought a used 2021 dodge ram big horn. was never told about non working head lamps, brakes assembly needed to be replaced and then months later after driving, battery needed to be replaced. which was about 400 bucks. absolutely would not recommend going here unless you wanna get burned. shady dealerships man

Great service and friendly staff. Very informative as to what they were doing to my vehicle. I was having recall issues fixed and they let me know everything that they were doing and why. Very convenient to have a Uber take me home and pick me up when the car was ready. I didn’t have to do or pay for anything. All arrangements were made by the Dolan auto rep without any issues at all. Very professional. I think I’ll take a look at their car inventory for my next purchase too.

I bring my vehicle there for all my services. I am always treated with respect and a smile when I show up to drop my vehicle off. I recommend them to everyone who has purchased a vehicle from Dolan Dodge Ram , Fiat, or Toyota to keep getting your service done by them.

So I know we all get shy about going to the dealer like going to the dentist but I wanted to put in a good word for Greg service manager at Dolan. I had a warranty issue with a truck and I needed the truck back right away because we were next to or within a mile of a prepare to evacuate notice for a fire near sierraville. all the dealers originally said it'd be about a week out before they can get to it and when he heard that we were close to the fire he pushed me up to the front and somehow found a part that was back ordered. So above and beyond works for me! Thanks Greg, I really appreciate it.

I would run far far away from this place they way overcharge for there labor in their parts I got charged a $300 fee just for a radiator cap and they're so called diagnosis I would fine a Certified mechanic somewhere else that won't charge you an arm and a leg

Reno was a stop on our RV trip and needed some standard tire rotation, oil change and transmission service. Called on a Monday for an appt and arrived a half hour early on Thursday to begin this process. Husband felt that should allow time for the engine to cool
2 hours in, checked with our service tech, Maynor S, and folks had gone to lunch and no notes on our ticket. So, waited another 2 hours and checked again…..NOTHING had been done. We had to reach out to Maynor for updates. Not sure what Nevada’s customer service is but this isn’t the service we get from our Ram dealership
We took the truck and left!!!

Update- well I am utterly disgusted by this establishment and left wondering how they are even in business? The service advisor that has spoken with my husband is not professional and rude. Let me give you a rundown of what happened..... We lived out of the area and about a year or so ago. We had our PT Cruiser brought into this location and they guaranteed the work on the part well, we paid them about I don't know $,4000 give or take anyways. They guaranteed the part. And since then we have had to have it brought back, not once not twice, three timestotal. This time the service advisor has had our car. The service department. I should say, has had our car now, For approximately 5 plus months.last time, they had it for about 6 months. But this time the issue IS that they are trying to charge us for a part that is supposed to be covered by them. Because they ensured their work. And the part keeps going out and they are not fixing it. They want to tell us everything else that is wrong with the car because they do not want to be stuck. Or have to foot the bill for the tow.I am tired of going round and round with these people.All I want them to do is fix the part that they guaranteed that they would fix. Since they "fixed" my husband's car over a year ago I had to bring it back twice since then... the first time my husband was on 395 and the car was not going anywhere that's dangerous! second time I had the kids in the car. It has been a nightmare with them holding onto our vehicle for months at a time. The lack of communication is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS they never call. Fix the problem so we can have our vehicle back and call us for God's sakes!! You guys have had our vehicle since FEBRUARY it's now JULY!!! last time you had it for approximately the same time. Fix the part you installed and give us our vehicle back we will never ever do business with your company and will let others know not to buy from your establishment or Use your service department. This has been back and fourth now over a year and a half ridiculous.......
I don't know what my family would do with out Rolando the service manager. We had some MAJOR MAJOR PROBLEMS with this place and he was super understanding and made things right for my family and I. He ensured the work on out pt and we live out of the area we started having problems again and he is sending someone to get the car again so they can make it right. We are all about customer service and so far he has definitely not let us down! It's frustrating to have to bring your vehicle every time it breaks down due to mechanic error or faulty parts,especially 100+ miles but Rolando always makes it right and he is currently making it right. Worst communication and customer service! Service department is a joke! Will never go back or recommend anyone else to use their services either! They called and said my truck was ready and when I got there my check engine light was on. It wasn’t on when I dropped it off. Had to leave my truck even longer. Do not waste your time or money here!! The drive to Carson is worth it!

Had an oil change & tire rotation several months ago. The air filter cover was left hanging, the oil filter wasn’t tightened enough and began to leak, asked for cabin filter to be changed & was told this model didn’t have one. I called the rep and left a message asking for a return call. Never happened. Called the service department and was assured someone would call me, nothing. Just got my truck back from another shop where they changed my cabin filter!!! Done with Dolan Dodge.
