Terrrible service ! Took my little yorkie for a complete grooming including nail filing clipping, teeth brushing, etc. She (technician) couldn't do the nail clipping becase: she( my 3.5 lb dog) was "biting the instrument" The hair-cut-grooming was BAD.because she (my dog) "wouldn't cooperate" and yet, I was charged the full amount for things that "couldn't be done". My yorkie looked worse than when she went in ! Very disappointing, to say the least...will not go back nor will I recommend it. (for small dogs anyway )

If I could give less than one star I would. My dog went for a simple shave to be cleaned up and she came back with a cut ear that was bleeding and all of her fur is uneven or not cut in some spots or so short is ridiculous. She was already anxious as it is this made it worse. Both of my dogs went for a simple shave and came back worse than if I had done it myself at home. Not to mention they smelled like old water or like they weren't dried at all. Don't go to this terrible place they don't care about your pets.

For 3 hours of waiting we got back a dog shaved to the skin in December with splotchy hair patches and a fro on top. Before you ask... the fro was not requested! Its the only part they didnt shave... good thing we love her since its a haircut only an owner could love. We could've done a better job at home with a pair of dull scisors.

Called and left a message on a Monday day they are closed, gave them my name and number to call me back so I could make an appointment for my dog and ne ver got a call back . Not professional.

Kept not wanting to tell me what time my two dogs were going to be done, 5 hours later, they had chunks of hair cut out, random long stray hairs that were uncut throughout, and lines in there coats from the cuts being uneven. I immediately took them to Alice's a mile away to get fixed and she did a wonderful job and was able to correct the mistakes in a timely manner, with me being a walk-in.

It was a terrible experience they couldn't finish my dog they had a hard time I've never been through where I would have to help them groom my dog. As I examined his body to make sure everything went as well I did come across a few cuts especially Aurora area and his ear. Every other place I've ever taken into it was so simple I pick him up I dropped him off and with no problems at all they charge me $80 which I thought was overpriced because they did not finish his nails they did not do much of anything besides cut all his fur off not to mention his face is very uneven for hours . They must of been rough cause my door never acted crazy with any other groomer ever . Will not be taking him back here .

Although the Dog House gets rave reviews, I felt obligated to share my concerns. Took my miniature Poodle in for just a trim because of the cold weather. She was bathed and trimmed, but it was incredibly sloppy...some areas shorter than others. Hair was curly in some areas, but blown out in others. Worst part was that the groomer cut the top off a small growth on her back that I had pointed out in advance. I did not notice that this had happened until the next day when I found a large area of dried blood around the wound and a large blood clot. This should not have happened! Because of her age (14) I took her to the vet for this to be checked which cost me $50 dollars in addition to the high rate of $55 for the grooming. Just a warning to prospective clients.
