I had an appointment for 345 pm was outta there by 445pm. Not bad they said it would be done by 426pm on the check-in. Good prices for new tires. Only place I go for my 3 cars.

These guys were awesome! I noticed a flat tire when I was 4 blocks north at about 5:55pm, right before they closed. I just wanted air in it, but they were about to fix it for me right away so I didn't have to go back. Thanks for doing this at closing time!!!

Staff here are rude, what kind of tire shop doesn't carry the proper tools for simple tire jobs? Well, apparently this place. They refused to complete the service as they were busy and obviously wanted to turn me away. I highly do not recommend this location.

Not recommended. If one watches closely, it is possible to get toes serviced here safely but, why not go to a tire shop one can have confidence in?
They take shortcuts and only do what they are supposed to of one watches and insists. There are several better choices of tire shop nearby.

They get two stars, because I *did* get a tire rotation. (At least, I have to assume I did. The questionable customer service and lack of knowledgeable employees does give me a bit of pause.) But the three employees I interacted with were rude, unhelpful, and did not complete my servicing as requested. I do NOT recommend this location.
There aren't many things this Discount Tire seems to be doing right.
The first employee I tried to check-in with for my rotation appointment was extremely confused when I tried to explain to him that I wanted my spare rotated in and that it would need to be mounted on the correct wheel. This is something I always have done with my rotations and have never once had any confusion. It's a pretty basic service. But he was so unclear on what I wanted that, after trying a handful of times to explain it to him, I just asked to check in with someone else. I was genuinely worried that they wouldn't complete the service correctly under his guidance.
I wait for another employee to come available who, as expected, did know what I was talking about. However, this location wanted to charge double what I normally pay for the mount/dismount fee to have the spare rotated in. (It's normally $22, and they were quoting me $50.) I asked if he could explain the difference maybe by comparing their itemization to the receipts from my past visits. He did not give me a satisfactory explanation; just something like "that's what we charge, I don't know why they undercharged the other times." Very unhelpful. (This man's name was Dave/David, and I see he's actually mentioned in other reviews for similar treatment of customers.)
Since he couldn't explain to me WHY I should be paying double, I opted for just the basic free rotation that comes with my warranty. I had a scheduled appointment, but because the check-in process took so long they didn't even have me on the docket until ~30min after my scheduled time despite my having showed up on time.
Then they told me it'd be at least an hour wait.
So I wait. The tech comes out to bring my key when they're done and tells me that if I experience some vibration it's due to caked mud "inside there" (no explanation as to what he meant) that they couldn't get off. I found this very odd, because I experienced no vibration issue BEFORE bringing it in??? He took me so off-guard by saying this that I didn't know how to respond, but I'm really kicking myself for not questioning this statement. It made me extremely uncomfortable with the job they did.
He also assured me that the tires were aired up as requested, which they were not.
They also didn't reset the TPMS, which is just a basic part of completing a tire rotation.
Between the poor customer service, the lack of knowledgeable employees, the long wait times even with a scheduled appointment, and the clear lack of attention to detail and servicing requests I'd say -- DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION.
In the case that someone from this location wants to reply to this review, rather than spending your time doing that please try to improve the conditions at your shop.

They kindly removed a nail from my tire for free, at the end of the day, with no notice. I didn't even get the tires there, to boot. When I get all-season for my little truck in the spring, I'll be coming back here for sure. Thanks!

I was seen by Dave, I needed a tire rotation, they don't charge for this service, so I didn't want to do it for free, so I explained that at the dealer they wanted to charge me $100 for this service, so I decided to do a balance which costs $40 and includes tire rotation, even though I think the car with 16k miles doesn't need it, the attendant clearly wasn't in a good mood, he was rude, saying things like " I don't care how much they charge on the dealer, you want a balance or not?" I will continue using Discount Tire's services, but I will go to another location at the store on Los Altos Pkwy
