I had an extremely disappointing experience at CVS Pharmacy. I urgently needed to pick up a prescription for my child who was in pain, but the pharmacy staff failed to process it even after waiting for over 10 minutes. To make matters worse, they closed the pharmacy right in front of me without fulfilling my request. It was a frustrating and distressing situation, especially considering the urgent medical need. I strongly advise others to seek a more reliable and empathetic pharmacy for their needs.

Made an appointment to get shots for my daughter and, when I get there, they said the appointment was cancelled due to the insurances being closed?Whatever. They were unhelpful in scheduling me another appointment and when I asked, it seemed like I was asking for a HUGE favor.You know, they excellent at bombarding your phone with REMINDERS of your appointment but are unable to text you when it's cancelled??Awful experience and everyone at the pharmacy was simply unhelpful. I had to miss work and take my daughter out of school for this appointment!I won't be going back here ever again. Staff seems to have a bad attitude. I understand we all live in RENO and have every right to be upset but does every business establishment here have to be so bad with even worse employees??

i'm gonna be honest, i usually LOVE this cvs, but i had the displeasure of running into aaron today while picking up my prescription. probably the worst experience i've ever had at a pharmacy ever, honestly. complained to another cvs employee and she told me that she'd tell management (thank you kind register lady for making me feel better lol) tbh the rest is the crew is amazing it's just that guy aaron. maybe if you were kinder, you wouldn't have to complain about how awful women are to your friend back there in pharmacy. (yeah, i heard that too, aaron.)

If I could leave no stars, I would. Aaron the guy that works in the pharmacy and answers phones that sounds like Mr. Bean might quite possibly be the rudest, most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with at a pharmacy. He also is dishonest. Beware.Why does he work here?They lost my business.

I was in your store a couple of days ago and i would like to express my disappointment. I love this store and i have been coming here for about 9 years. I love Gerry, the store manager and Irene & Mary are my favorite. I come in specifically at night just to see them.I came in earlier than I usually do. I roamed the store shopping for about 20 minutes. I could hear in the background someone being so rude to people. The tone of her voice was very aggressive. I realized i needed some batteries and that they were locked. I waived down an employee, and i noticed she was the person I could hear being rude when helping other customers. I am not sure how long she has been with cvs as I haven't seen her before. I looked at her name badge and seen that her name was Barbara. Her attitude is terrible. She should not be in customer service. I would have her drug tested as well because she seemed to be high and acting very odd, like she was on crystal meth or something. I know it's getting really bad in this area. The way she speaks to customers and the other workers made me feel very uncomfortable. I wanted out of that store and away from that person immediately. I will make sure going further to come in when I know Mary & Irene will be in the store.I hope Mary & Irene don't quit, I will no longer shop this store. The new hires lately have been so disappointing.Let's get better at hiring! Please!!!

People are friendly but if it's going to take 30-45 minutes for my Rx then please don't tell me 15 and then it's not ready. Then you tell me a 2nd time it's going to be additional 10-15. Please Just tell me 45 from the start and I'll be thrilled when it's ready in 30.

As a physician, I find their level of service and dedication to patient care extremely poor. If possible, find your pharmacy care elsewhere.

Was told to wait because their standard response is the pharmacy is giving a lot of covid shots when their busy. Waited over an hour went back to the pharmacy and they told me the same thing. Ridiculous service and the real response is that these people working the pharmacy are all incompetent of doing their jobs at this location.

Arrived on time for my Covid booster. Had to wait a couple of extra minutes, but no big deal. I was called into the small cubicle a few minutes later. A dark gentleman, who I assume was the pharmacist, was going to administer my flu shot and booster. I am elderly, and immune compromised, and I ask him if he was going to wear a mask. He said that the CDC guidelines said that he didn't have to. Hmmmm...I'm enclosed in a tiny room, with a guy,that sees many, many, people in a day. He said that would wear gloves though. ( Hey, sure appreciate that). You would think that being a pharmacist, he would take extra care, and accommodate the customer. Very UNPROFESSIONAL.

The pharmacy has the worst customer service I have seen in any pharmacy in Reno. The Pharmacist should be fired! There are so many choices in pharmacies pick one that is here to help. I have had nothing but issues with the South Virginia location the one by Damonte Ranch. The latest issue my wife and I scheduled a COVID test and were there promptly for our appointment at the drive through. The pharmcy tech must have taken 30-45 minutes to finally get through our paperwork and tests. There were at least 5 vehicles waiting behind us. Once we finished our test the pharmacy tech said you will receive your results within 2 hours after 4 hours I called to find out whats going on. The first time I called I waited 30 minutes then I finally hung up. Called back, this time reached someone who said they were going to transfer me only to hang up on me ---when I finally reached someone who said they were the pharmacist -- he told me they needed to put in on their machine and it could take up to 24 hours. No where on their site does it say 24 hours for a rapid test. I am calling them back as I have not received anything yet and have already been on hold for 20 minutes. GO to Smiths, CVS, or Walmart -- finally go ahold of them they told me to come back and they would give me a hard copy... WTF

Terrible. Truly not helpful and I was spied on when I was waiting for my prescriptions to be filled by their pharmacy in my car. This is what happened....I had a number of empty wine bottles in a plastic mail box that I was going to recycle. While waiting way too long, I saw one of the expensive bottles (over $100/bottle) had a small amount left in it and quickly finished it off. Boy, was it good. But, boy, what a mistake! One of the employees/pharmacists watching cars in line on video told me they would no longer do business with me because they saw me drinking from a bottle of wine! I tried to explain, but it fell on deaf ears. I switched initially to Walgreens (who were much better), but eventually gravitated to WalMart Pharmacy, which is better than both and much, much less expensive.

Live out of town far from cvs locations. Called the day before and was told that my prescription would be ready. Called the next morning before heading to pick it up and was told it would be ready. Showed up and they said that they had nothing for me.? Talked to 2 different individuals and was informed that they couldn't help me and that they would have to order my prescription and would be available in a couple of days.I was leaving the next day so I told them that it was not going to work for me. Called another cvs and was told that this cvs that I just left had it on order and would arrive the next day. They had what I needed so went thete.
