Absolutely the worst customer service in existence. You literally cannot speak to a pharmacy technician or a pharmacist via phone. You have to leave a voicemail and they call you back at their convenience. They don't call you back.

CVS Store in Steamboat is nice & clean, all WHO works there are smiling to their customers & they all friendly especially the girl named ECHO, she’ so very helpful what your looking for & she’ s very helpful too.

Rude, and unprofessional, especially Mark. The head pharmacist , not sure her name, is very nice and pleasant to deal with. They have no customer service etiquette, it’s so strange. It’s part of the job!

Very negative reviews… hmmmm? my first time using them - after coming from Verdi NV. They were AWESOME! I’ve been waiting for my RX from RALEY’S for nearly a week (not their fault - manufacturer was out of it all over Reno apparently) & this CVS had & did an automated call to let me know it was ready within a couple hours (early afternoon). I Drove through about 6 pm and was first car in line. I couldn’t have been there less than 5 minutes and the Gal was super friendly. Did they just change staff or what?! Another pharmacy trying to get their Business - NEGATIVE reviews or maybe I was just blessed????

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a pharmacy. Honestly my mind is blown. I just went to pick up anti nausea meds due to being super pregnant. Waited for over an hour in the drive thru. And was informed that they were not covered by insurance. Not a big deal I told them I’d pay for them and just get a few less since they are expensive. At which point they told me to pull back around to the back of the hour long drive thru line while they took a few pills out and put a new sticker on. Normally not a big deal but with an hour line I asked if it was possible for them to please just change it really quick while I’m there since I’m actively throwing up and need the meds and he told me he would call the police if I did not pull my car out of the way immediately. I am mind blown and will never be using cvs pharmacy again..

I had an extremely disappointing experience at CVS Pharmacy. I urgently needed to pick up a prescription for my child who was in pain, but the pharmacy staff failed to process it even after waiting for over 10 minutes. To make matters worse, they closed the pharmacy right in front of me without fulfilling my request. It was a frustrating and distressing situation, especially considering the urgent medical need. I strongly advise others to seek a more reliable and empathetic pharmacy for their needs.

Made an appointment to get shots for my daughter and, when I get there, they said the appointment was cancelled due to the insurances being closed?Whatever. They were unhelpful in scheduling me another appointment and when I asked, it seemed like I was asking for a HUGE favor.You know, they excellent at bombarding your phone with REMINDERS of your appointment but are unable to text you when it's cancelled??Awful experience and everyone at the pharmacy was simply unhelpful. I had to miss work and take my daughter out of school for this appointment!I won't be going back here ever again. Staff seems to have a bad attitude. I understand we all live in RENO and have every right to be upset but does every business establishment here have to be so bad with even worse employees??

If you want to be talked down too go no further. I hate this pharmacy and never get treated like a person. I don't raise my voice or say anything rude and I get disrespected every time I go here. They must find staff that just hate people to work here. I would pay 5 times more on my proscription to not ever go here again.

Made 5:30 pm appointment for flu shot. Checked in at 5:20 pm. Was told there were two people ahead of me. By 6:00pm i inquired my status as I had to leave to pick someone up at airport. Aaron, who checked me in said there were five people ahead of me. No one else was waiting. Seriously? Why the appointment s system? Meh customer service. Do not recommend. Go elsewhere.

Hours are limited and usually short staffed but always has my prescription. Hit and miss with over the counter medication they don't always have it stocked.

I needed a Covid test. My primary suggested going to my pharmacy since they didn't have an appointment any time soon. Since home tests are no longer covered I made an appointment at the CVS on Damonte I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time. I don't know if the woman there was an MD or PA or NP but it didn't really matter since all I was getting was the Covid test. Much to my surprise she not only administered the test but also did a basic exam. You know...the kind of exam we used to get every time we'd see our doctors. Eyes, ears, nose, say ahhhhh. I've had 2 Covid tests prior to this one and neither of those did anything more than swab my nose. As you can probably guess from my tone, I'm very happy with the service provided. And I recommend this location.
