Great Gym! Lots of kind people here and friendly competition. They can cater to any type of athlete, newcomers or those who have been in it for a while, and know how to give the right amount of instruction. I always have a good time here.

Went to this gym for 6 months while I lived in Reno, I loved my experience there. They have a lot of classes (morning - one at lunch time - and a couple at night 4-5-6pm). I originally wanted to try Crossfit because I was bored of only lifting weights in a regular gym by myself all the time. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, depending what time of the day you go, there’s people of all age groups (from 12 to 75 years old) all shapes and different fitness levels and goals but everyone works out together which is great (you adjust your workout according to your needs and fitness level). You want to train with people who are better than you, so you also become better with time. I never felt judge or looked down to if I was not able to do something, the girls were always super helpful. There’s no high level athlete who trained there to go to the Crossfit games, it’s not an insanely competitive environment but some people are in really really good shape!! There’s a lot of different coaches and they are all great in their own way (different backgrounds/ knowledge)…the workouts are different every day, it keeps people motivated. If you go 5 days/ week and follow the workouts, you will get results pretty fast. I saw some people losing a ton of weight over the course of a few months and I got significantly stronger and gained muscle mass, which is what I wanted to achieve. There are also free weights in a corner that you can use on your own, before or after the group workout. I wish we would do more group warm-up and stretching all together before and after the workouts, some of the coaches were reinforcing that and it was great! Overall, had a great time going to that gym, will miss the people there and the workouts will definitely kick your butt if you decide to give it a try!! Thank you Willie, Bobby, Lily, Mike, Darell, Randee & Nate!

Worst crossfit ever, save your money and go somewhere else. No one starts on time everyone does what they want. Worst definition of a crossfit community, Must sign In to their website 2 hrs before otherwise they frown on you for not signing in. If they are a business just be open like a normal business. Coaches more interested in their social media, than their clients an occasional "let's go" when they decide to look up. I cannot take a fat coach seriously, especially if I am fitter than you. And you're telling me how to workout. Show up look at the board and start make sure you finish before 7pm cause all they are interested in, is your money. been a cross fitter for 15 years I know a bad box when I see one. Not your community CrossFit, more of just a gym with crossfit equipment, and bad coaches.

My exposure to Crossfit Sierra Nevada was from a specialized course I attended there over the course of a weekend. This review will focus on the overall facilities, not the course. CrossFit Sierra Nevada is probably one of the largest CrossFit facilities in Northern Nevada. Willie is super friendly and seems pretty knowledgeable of functional fitness. His facility is very well-equipped with rigs a various heights and varieties to work on different skills. There are plenty of weights, and the facility is pretty clean especially given how big the location is. There is plenty of room to work out and environment is comfortable. Call or drop by for pricing, scheduling a drop in, or to learn more about Crossfit. This is the only CrossFit location on the west side of town. The artificial grass is really nice to workout on when you are used to rubber matting on the floor! There are no mirrors, so it will be difficult to be looking at your muscles while working out to see if you are swoll! This means you have to work hard to see gains!

This is the best gym I've ever been a part of. Trainers are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and willing to customize workouts to fit your needs. All ages are welcome here, and all fitness levels and abilities: the exercises scale to your level, so you can always get a great workout. The other athletes are without exception friendly and welcoming. It's only as hard core as you want it to be: you have nothing to prove here. BUT, if you want to get fit, Willy and his crew will whip you into shape, and you will see results in just a few weeks. (And the results are remarkable!) Give Crossfit Sierra Nevada a try: you will be happy you did!

I have been going to Crossfit Sierra Nevada for a few years now and I keep going back. It is a great place to be apart of something more than just a gym. The trainers are always there to help you through your workouts and guide you. The thing that makes this place stand out the most to me is that all types are welcomed and encouraged. Whether you are the natural athlete or the type that needs a little more help they are there for you to meet your goal. The outcome for me was much more than I expected I feel healthy, fit and stronger than ever. I would recommend this gym to anyone.
