The store was neat and clean and fully stocked. It's a nice big looking store. The salesperson was willing to be helpful. He asked if there was anything he could help us find as soon as we walked in. We said we were just looking. We did however ask for a specfic manager by name. Unfortunately he was out of town and the salesperson said he would let him know we stopped by.

Oh my goodness does anyone in this store want to work? The short blonde hair lady literally hates working here. Talking rudely so loudly to her co-worker. I love the clothes here but management needs to refresh their staff because it’s painful shopping here. At every opportunity the short blonde hair lady tried to push me to buy online, return things online, and blatantly didn’t want to help. She’s been like this the last few times I’ve been here. Stood at the register for 5 minutes before someone finally came along to help check out, even after I made eye contact with at least 4 employees during that time.

Walked into The Summit Mall shop asked to use the bathroom and they told us we could not use theirs. We went to another place to use their bathroom then came back to the Columbia store. We found something but needed to try them on. The fitting rooms were locked, the 2 employees were so busy talking, they didn’t even notice (we were the only ones in the store). We ended up walking out without purchasing anything. We were very disappointed, bad customer service.

The wife and I stopped in to buy some clothes. Two ladies would not let us use the bathroom and send us down the road to a different bathroom. We then returned, to try some clothes out, the fitting room doors were locked. We were the only two people in the store. The ladies were chatting and could care less that we were locked out. Not a good experience at all. we left our clothes there and went to a different store. Got treated real nice on the Internet.

We stopped in for snow boots and ended up buying boots and a great sale jacket as well. Edison was great: he helped us patiently all the way through the process and helped us find what we really needed, as opposed to what we thought we wanted. Yes, stock is sometimes lower than online, but I found a bunch of items that were out of stock online that were available in every size and color in the store, so that was a huge bonus. I replaced my beloved but very old ski jacket with a brand new one that was 50% off. This place is worth a stop. They may not have what you want, but you may find things that you can't get from Columbia's website or anyplace else, and you might find a gem you weren't expecting. Ask for Edison. He's awesome!

I don't like to do reviews unless something stands out. In this case it is assistance with clothing. I was greeted when I entered the store by the two male workers in front, which is nice. However as I was looking for a jacket for my girlfriend, both female workers, one older and the other young with glasses were both ignoring me. The younger one actually walked away as I was about to ask a question for a size available. I continued my search and then as I was walking out the young one was in the back of the store just bsing with a third female employee. Well, here is another store that lost my business. I am used to being ignored as a combat Veteran, but this was effort by employees to not even ask if I needed help.

this location has a Renown next to it and I was taking my girlfriend there, when she came out she suggested to go gift shopping and we walk into the store and greet the lady and she greets me back pretty nicely. And she comes up to us inquiring whether we need help looking for a particular thing or what not but throughout the entire time they felt it so she was lingering and then on top of that she was talking amongst her peers and they, for some reason requested the security guard to show up. I don’t necessarily know whether they were judging the color of my skin or the clothes on my back, but that short haired lady truly had a vibe going with her, and regardless of whether she was nice or not she called security because she had certain opinions about me and my girlfriend

Not sure just how new Columbia Sportswear is at the Summit Outdoor Mall, but I am very happy they are here. Columbia is one of my favs, as far as outdoor active style, but since I had already indulged in winter apparel and satisfied my puffy coat addiction for the season, the only thing I was looking for was some winter type snow pants for snowshoeing. Boo Hoo, none in sight here.But loads of cute, cute, cute puffy jackets. And I cannot wait until the Spring clothes come into full bloom here. I already see some cute dresses for the summer, and there are a nice variety of hiking shoes that struck my fancy.Nice to see them employ an older generation. Gives a great message that older folks are no slouch at all.Prices are great with their current sales.
