These guys will talk to you like you’re a grade schooler, insist that their suggestions will work even though it doesn’t meet the mfg’s spec, and then surprise the product that they sold you that they swore up and down would work does not. Yay for being the oldest bike shop I guess?It definitely shows in the worst ways possible.

college cyclery has been nothing but helpful every time ive come in. i received a tune-up on my commuter bike and it works like a breeze now. the employees are exceedingly polite and knowledgeable on their products and procedures. my total was a little higher than i expected but amy helped me work out a payment plan that works with my schedule! they will be my go-to for any bike repairs or parts. thanks guys!

My go-to bike shop for many years. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience purchasing my new bicycle. Randy performed the best bike fit I’ve ever had. The rest of the staff is friendly, expert in their knowledge, and always willing to help. Thank you again guys, I love my new ORBEA!

Prices are twice what they have on Amazon for similar quality products. Some very nice bikes I asked about some of the mid drives and was basically dismissed by a pretentious female. Why do all these specialized retailers think they are too cool to try and actually sell their products? Wouldn't spend a dime here.

Came in for a flat tire fix and they spent 20 minutes hitting it with a hammer and ended up damaging the threads beyond repair. These people don't know bike mechanics.

Called as they opened so I could ask if fixing my rim was possible. The guy ended up being Super rude and uninformative told me to “just come in” . “prices vary”. I went in and was quoted 35$ to true up my rim. A little expensive for a rim that only cost 70$ new. I agreed to that price and was told I’d get a call when they had finished. No call, no text, nothing letting me know my rim was done. It was about 2 hours till closing time so I went back in to pick up my rim. As I pull out my wallet I'm told a new price of 45$. I ask how could that be? I was quoted 35. He goes on about how busy they were and how it took longer than he expected. He didn’t even know the rim had been worked on let alone how long it took. Long story short I will not come back or recommend this shop to anyone. By the way… they are understaffed because no one in their right mind would want to work with this guy everyday.Try REI they were very polite, helpful and half the price.

Awesome experience at this bike shop from start to finish. I called about a bike fit, the person on the phone said they were really busy and would call me back, and she did (I have called many other bike shops around town and they say they will call back and never do). When I came in for my fitting, Randy was very thorough and very professional. I could tell that he knew his mountain biking. I would highly recommend giving them a shot if you are in the market for a new bike, or are looking for a fit.

Randy at College Cyclery was absolutely fantastic at helping me out with logistical issues when I was planning a cycling holiday to the area, coming from Canada. He couldn't have been more helpful, and really the trip couldn't have come together without his help. I would very gladly give him and his store the maximum 5 stars for excellent and friendly service!! Thanks again Randy!!
