There is no agency that does more for those who struggle with hunger and poverty than Catholic Charities. An entity that pivots their services based on the trends they see for the working poor and those who struggle with homelessness in the local community. A willing and strong collaborator with other civic entities, they are open to serving all of humanity. Their employees are passionate and committed. What a GIFT for Northern Nevada.

Sadly, about 75% of all food given out is way past use by date. Fruit will be spoiled and baked goods covered with green or white mildew. I realize that they can only donate out what is donated into them. But please stop taking in bad food you then pass out. Nice staff, bad food.

I go here to use their food bank. I have always been treated with respect by all of the staff members. The food that I have received has always been of good quality with any produce being fresh.

Wish they had it set up to where you could just take what you need instead of giving out the " one box fits all" some people need different items than others. Some don't have refrigerators or stoves and need things that don't need to be cooked, while others do have access to kitchens and can use eggs and milk etc.How come they don't do bread days? This food pantry could serve better if they considered the challenges people are currently facing.

I went there and was able to get food for my family. The workers are nice and willing to to help as much as they can. What I can't comprehend is why ask people to comeback 1 month later when receiving a 3 to 4 days help????

Wanted to go in and my purse is a small backpack, they told me I had to put it in a locker. I understand they may have a high theft rate but come on my phone and wallet are about the only thing that fits in my purse. Have some common sense.

Well first off your your rating system we’re not let me leave a comment when I only left a two star rating there’s something wrong with that when I push five stars it let me let me leave a comment so the comments have already beenEdited. But my problem is with the thrift store in while I was in it not playing English Christmas music I have two sons fighting in the military for the United States of America I am a United States citizen when I shop I expect to hear English When I shop. I am not racist but I am a proud American citizen did expect to hear English when I’m shopping if not let me know why my sons are fighting and have the possibility of losing their lives to protect the United States of America for the right to speak English in our country. I find the store very offensive to me as a United States citizenAnd if you don’t like the business of American citizens just let me know and I’ll be happy to shop somewhere else I’m also a donate her to your food pantry and your food sink kitchen regularly I would be happy to take it somewhere else if I’m not appreciated thank you have a good day

I am an assistant property manager for Redfield Ridge, we had a resident here who was using Catholic Charities for rental assistance. The person who was assisting and represents Catholic Charities named Dennis Williams as well as the resident came in to get some paper work to finalize the assistance. Me and my Property Manager were in the middle of a meeting and told both of them to wait in the lobby and we would handle it in just a second. Dennis Williams became very impatient, pounded on our door multiple times and then opened our door after telling him numerous times to be patient. My pregnant Property Manager then got up to close the door again, until Dennis forced it back open almost hitting my property managers baby-carrying belly. We then escorted Dennis outside of the property and as he was being forced out he called our property manager a b**ch multiple times and continued to try to hold our front door open. These are the types of people representing your company? This is outrageous customer service, and this employee needs consequences for nearly injuring our pregnant property manager.
