Sadly, about 75% of all food given out is way past use by date. Fruit will be spoiled and baked goods covered with green or white mildew. I realize that they can only donate out what is donated into them. But please stop taking in bad food you then pass out. Nice staff, bad food.

I go here to use their food bank. I have always been treated with respect by all of the staff members. The food that I have received has always been of good quality with any produce being fresh.

From Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada: The St. Vincent's Programs
Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is dedicated to providing support to those in need in the Reno/Sparks community as well as across rural Nevada. We help people of all cultures and beliefs rise up out of poverty and overcome the barriers to self-sufficiency. We do this through a broad range of services, including food resources, case management, and residential programs.
Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada has been serving individuals and families for over 77 years. While we are affiliated with the Diocese of Reno, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is a separately-incorporated 501(c)3 nonprofit agency.
The St. Vincent's Dining Room does not close on holidays. We are open for lunch daily from 11:30-1. 325 Valley Road, Reno, NV.
