I really wanted to like the store more than I did. I will still give it a 5 star review because it is a real store, and I can make returns there. The problem I had was that I went in on the SECOND day it was open, and I found only a couple of things in my size. I was prepared to buy a new jacket and hoodie but left empty-handed. No, I did not ask for help because, well, that calls for personal interaction. When I left the store, I sat on a bench and watched a couple of guys that were as big as me walk in and walk out empty-handed as well. If I really want a new jacket, I can go to the website or Amazon, but I really want instant gratification. I guess I also saved a couple of hundred dollars.

Buyer beware! Potential customers need to be aware that the management of Carhartt has designated this location as a "Warm Weather Store," thus, DOES NOT feature their line of Extreme Warmth, Level-4 line of clothing! An astonishingly bad decision for Northern Nevada, and peculiar given our windchill issues and large work force requiring weather-appropriate clothing. They have the ability to special order Level-4 clothing, they are just not allowed to stock them. Of course, you could always order them on-line yourself. IMO, this brick & mortar store would be better suited for the Las Vegas area, which in the end, I suspect their NV marketing research was based upon. In our case, we drove for an hour to be greatly disappointed.

1/19/2024- Grand opening was yesterday.... Read the article online and decided to pop in.. Kind of dangerous the outdoor outlet is less than 3 miles from me.. Nice store- - plenty of staff on hand.. Didn't have the size of vest for a men's vest, But they did have a size for me in a jacket... Signed up for the rewards.. ** Sizes run bigger- so I ended up with a Small size.. makes my ego feel great.. lol!..

Super nice store that just opened in the Summit Mall. We stopped in after having dinner tonight to check it out and I must say they did a really nice job building out this storefront. There was a huge selection of jeans and overalls on the back wall. Who knew Carhartt had so many styles of jeans to choose from? I sure didn't! Wide assortment of vests on display along with the most iconic Carhartt item... the hoodie. So many colors to choose from! Nice store and plan to return whenever I'm in need of some work apparel. Oh yes they also had a dozen or so boots and shoes on display and available for purchase. Everything from steal toed boots to tennis shoes.
