I had a real hip replacement and was discharged from the hospital without anything to help me regarding life a little easier. I contacted Care Chest and when I walked in and they heard my story, they gave me everything that they felt that I would need. They didn't ask for any money. They said in the future you can donate. I left with my items, in disbelief of the generosity and kindness that they showed me. I have been donating every year because I hear that they are still doing this, and it is so greatly needed.

Just went to the bacon,bourbon, and brews event for the care chest had a great experience! So happy I could support a wonderful organization! Got to taste loads of awesome food and play ring toss!

I knew that Care Chest accepted donations, but did you know that Care Chest also offers a variety of low cost loans for those with physical challenges?I spoke to Bob last week about loan options to modify my home for my son who is in a wheelchair. He did a brief assessment of our needs and that day the loan application was in the mail. I am going to modify my bathroom for my son's physical challenge needs.There is a year wait, but in the meantime, I can get another loan from Care Chest so I can pull out the carpet and put a durable vinyl flooring in. Waiting for more information on that loan.Score! Great options for the physically challenged or those who are elderly and want to stay in their home!

A Descent place to help those who need extra help in medical supplies. It's just that you need perception for any help there and has to be done anually.Sometimes they might be out of something for a while, but a non profit it is a decent place.

Best most empithetic non profit organization in Northern Nevada. These guys let low income people and families of all disabilities, races, and age groups, receive, give, and fix any kind of medical supplies or equipment that you may need. They travel all over NV to help people in rural areas not accessible to some of the public, and make sure they get supplies or equipment that they need. They need help too however as much as they give, and until I discovered this place, I was in dire need of help. They gave me everything, and even surprised me with my photo of me and my daughter on a public billboard. I love the staff, and anybody wanting to give back to the community, should help these genuine people, with volunteer help roles, as well as donations. I love care chest, I owe them my life!

online application system sucks!it does not work at all on a computer and it fails to tell you to use a cell phone to signup! many questions are inappropriate as they have no relevance to aid being requested. they force client to sign contract for long term use of medical equipment even when you are asking for help with one-time-use disposable care items not durable equipment!!! if i could i'd give this place zero stars!!!

Kim and these great folks at Care Chest have saved my sanity twice! My premature infant is on a feeding tube. The contracted medical supply company we use (Preferred Home Care) is so unreliable, that we have completely run out of feed bags even tho I'd been assured they would arrive. Care Chest has given us enough bags to last until a shipment comes. The staff here understands how stressful it is to have medical supply needs, and they are very compassionate and most helpful. They also answer their phone and take care of clients quickly. I would have had to bring my baby girl to the emergency room if it weren't for this fabulous agency! THANK YOU!

The first time I went there was for a shower chair couple weeks out of the hospital from having surgery kny intestines, again. After home health care relisted me I couldn't find a local company to buy colonostomy products from. I called the CARE chest and they told me to come down to get anything I needed for no cost. They provide a wonderful serv to the Reno Sparks area. They are a non profit and take public donations for all medical supply's.I know I will be donating things to them.
