At the beginning of the year, I went into Bank of America to close out my deceased mother's account, as well as, transfer our joint owned safe deposit box to my name only. I provided her death certificate. My license and account information answered all their questions at all this information was entered into the computer with a copy made of the death certificate. I was told everything would be transferred no problems would arise. Today I received a letter in the mail addressed to my deceased mother of 2 1/2 years requesting payment for said safe deposit box. The letter states if I have questions are in more need more information to call 1-800-432-1000, which I did after waiting 15 minutes for someone to answer, and going through all the press, one for this press two for that enter your Social Security number last four digits, your firstborn child's name, your favorite, pets name, your first grade teacher, I finally reached a live person out of Texas. She told me there was no way she could help me that I would have to go visit the branch again. I asked her why then did they have the Health number at the bottom of the letter if there was no one answering that could help me? She could not answer my question. Incompetence and Customer Service seem to be heading to extinction in today's society. I'm so weary of businesses that care more about profit than about the customers who are spending their hard-earned money for their product or services.

David is an excellent banker, his manager CJ awesome too. Definitely this boutique BoFA location is the best service. The one off mccarran by Walmart smells like Walmart inside. This location is way cleaner, the people are friendly, and easy to work with!

I normally wouldn't write a review of a bank, but when I was googling BofA locations, I noticed some particularly bad reviews for this location. So I felt obligated to come back after my visit and report that I had a particularly positive experience here. I came in for a temporary replacement debit card and was in and out in less than ten minutes. The teller politely asked me to wait for an agent, a manager came out and checked in with me, and within a few minutes Cote (sp?) had me all hooked up. Everyone was great.

My husband showed up at 4:04 and apparently this branch closes at 4:00 now. He was being turned away along with a few other people who were all in regular casual clothing. Another man walks up and says, “I just need to make a withdrawal.” They LET HIM IN! The only reason I can think of was this man was dressed in business casual. Regardless, if you enforce a rule for one customer you do it for all. Obviously there is a reason this branch has such a low rating.

No explanation as to why it’s closed or for how long...and even though there was a sign directing people to use the ATM inside the kiosk the lock had been disabled or something. Again, no updated sign and no explanation. The day I went last week I could see people inside and they just waved me off and wouldn’t even offer an explanation why I couldn’t even use the ATM outside. Went to three other branches today and all were closed...actually cost us $300 since we couldn’t get the “cash price” for the vehicle my son was purchasing without being able to do a withdrawal. I wish I could change banks...

I wish I got the name of the guy who helped me today! He was a younger, Hispanic male. Anyways, thank you for your customer service. It’s very refreshing and satisfying when the attendant is professional, fast, and full of charisma. Thank you!

The WORST bank I've come across. If you have elderly parents who bank here and you are a "financial agent" acting on your parents behalf, good luck obtaining 'Power of Attorney' or anything else to act on your parents financial behalf. I went into this branch in person with my 82 year old mother on 31 December. We both physically spent over an hour in this branch and were told that "after 5 business days" I would be able go into any BofA Branch, sign paperwork, and then act as my mothers agent (POA). Well, I did exactly that and I'm now being told BofA will not honor the words spoken by their employee. Without a doubt this is an abuse of elderly people. As of this present moment, my 82 year old mother believes I can act as her agent. BofA can use any legal mumbo jumbo they want, its criminal. Hide behind "legal this" or "trustee that"--horrible!!! Find a new bank!!! This institution is all about "what they CAN'T do for you." Over 50 years my parents banked with this institution. The absolute worst!

I mean really, what can you write about a bank. Every one needs one. Briefly all I can say is I sometimes go out of my way to go to this branch where the staff are continually SO DARN FRIENDLY! If I met with a rep to open an account .. friendly. When the ATM ticked me off .. staff was friendly. When I brought in $80 worth of rolled coins .. friendly. When I make deposits for family members ... friendly. Always willing to help, and they are fast to boot!

I waited 10-15 minutes to get to the front of the line to ask for a associate to help me get a temporary debit card. I was next in line when one of the associates pulls the lady behind me and begins to help her instead of me and then by the time I got to the front because she helped the person behind me theu now tell me I have to wait 35 minutes because she is helping the women behind me. When what I needed only would have taken 5 minutes tops. Worst customer service I've ever gotten from a bank.

After getting married my husband and I decided to combine our bank accounts. I closed my account at another bank, and came over of BofA with him. We came in at 5 pm on a Friday thinking it would be easy to get me added to his account. (They close at 6 on Fridays) Unfortunately, when I gave them my social we found out that at some point someone had tried to use my social to open account, so someone else's data was saved under my social. Luckily whatever they use to check for fraud caught the guy, and he was unable to open an account. However, in order to get my name with the social we needed to do a manager override. This meant everyone had to stay late, and we felt TERRIBLE! We even tried to leave and just come back another time, but Omar assured us that it was okay, and he didn't mind staying late to help us at all! We are so thankful to Omar and the managers at this branch because finding a time that my husband and I could get there together is hard with our schedules, and coming back was going to be even harder! In the end everything worked out, and we got everything situated! Thank you everyone for your excellent customer service!
