“Whenever I visit a new city I always check Atlas Obscura and was delighted to find this place in Reno -- and honestly the most interesting thing on A.O.
I first walked in and was greeted by two extremely sweet dogs and was taken aback by their taxidermy selections.
As a biology teacher, I am so excited about my purchases (which were REASONABLY PRICED) and I can't wait to take them back to my students! I genuinely felt like a kid in a candy store with this place.
This place genuinely filled me with so much joy and excitement; it will be one of the first things on my mind whenever "Reno" is mentioned in a conversation. I can't wait to come back to Reno again and feel the pure dopamine rush that is Natural Selection once again.”

201 Keystone Ave, Reno“So many great finds and the owner Tessa goes way beyond to help. Quite an array of so many different furnishing items. I found way too many things that I wanted to buy.”
“Amazing place for a great selection of classic antiques. Doug, the owner, makes it an even better experience.
Left several dollars poorer, but a great shopping experience richer.”
“I love how packed all the booths are. Really makes it feel like digging for treasure in the shelves and displays.
Literally cannot ever walk out of here without something cool to put on my shelf at home.”
“I love this place you could get lost in here for ever. My only complaint and it is definitely understandable however still an issue, things are a bit high in price, however I think that about most places now as inflation has literally gotten out of control! There is a huge selection of everything cute, and the holiday time the decor is absolutely amazing.”
“Absolutely the cutest shop I have ever visited! Mix of antiques and a little bit of new. The owner was so fun and welcoming and we had the best time visiting with her. This place is a must stop if you are looking for antiques or a cute gift. Highly recommended.”

“In Reno, this is my go to shop for exchanging gold and silver. I haven't exchanged or purchased any coins, but they do have a wide and unique selection if that's your thing.Always multiple people on staff, never have had to wait more than 2-3 mins before I was helped.”
