This place ( ALMO DISTRIBUTION) @almo has the absolute worst management if you are an independent not needy type strong personality worker. This operation is set under the direction of an old tyrant boss by the name of STEVE WOLANIN @Steve Wolanin and also Christopher “DUKE” Howard. I was a employee of four years and really liked my job until I was bullied, discriminated against , and experienced retaliation all while the owner, corporate , and Human Resources knew about it and tried to cover it up. Working for ALMO DISTRIBUTION IN Reno I ended up filing a police report , and then an additional supplemental report and then I paid for a lie detector test and passed with no deception. I paid for this test because I was expressing my concerns but no one was doing anything about it. So to prove I was telling the truth I drove to Sacramento, paid $200 and took this test and passed.Also the the LEAD of our warehouse MIkE BAYS @mikebays @ michael bays @ michaelBay was managements HENCH MAN They allowed him to basically control the workers and who they could speak to. If management didn’t like you MICHAEL BAYS would turn the coworkers against you. Basically the lead Mike Bays was running our toxic work environment even though management was there.Like I said before I was good at my job and liked the hours and pay but I was never a team player. I am a person who gets the job done , and you could never control my thoughts or get me to turn on anyone , or tell me who to talk to , or who not to talk to. That’s not even an option for me, so that made me quite different from my ex very needy coworkersIn all my years I have never been at such a toxic workplace. I have never had to file a police report in my life and until working here I had never experienced a dysfunctional toxic workplace on this level. I contacted the EEiOC to report Almo Distribution , but with the EEOC who is over burdened , unless you have what they consider to be obvious discrimination. It’s a waste of time The EEOC gave me a right to Sue letter in two days , but in this State of Nevada there is no real protection for employees whoSo my ex boss Steve Wolanin of Almo Distribution Reno Nevada thought hooray she can’t do anything and no one will know what happened.The lead Michael Bays or Mike Bay had a smile on his face every time he was able to control my coworkers to be against me. He got off on this because it made him feel in control or someone who he could never control He never thought that even though he got away with the things he did at work, that in exchange for what he did I would tell my story everywhere when appropriate.They thought they could cover it up and hide like cowards while trying to destroy my life by messing with my livelihood. I am not bitter because I uderstand that a door has to close in order for another one to open.Coworkers can easily be manipulated so eager for acceptance they will stab you in the back in order to belong.Bullies like our lead Mike Bays and forklift driver Reggie Martinez run the show and management lets them.STEVE WOLANIN distribution manager is obsolete and supports a toxic workplace while collecting a paycheck.Christopher “ DUKE” Howard warehouse manager was hired to be a boss and was too cowardly to do the right thing even though he wants to tell you about God. What a joke.And the BIGGEST Miserable Bully MIKE BAYS( MICHAEL BAYS or MICHAEL BAY ( whatever ) . who use to be the beverage manager at Harrahs casino but now he’s controlling peoples free speech as a lead. He smiles and manipulated and will work with you as long as he doesn’t feel intimidated by you.Steve Wolanin, district managerMike Bays aka Michael Bays / Mike Bay ( the lead who runs the place instead of management)Christopher “. This is the worst place that I never ever seen They have a fake schedule appointment I was on time and they told me my appointment is after 4 hours iwill never come back In here Even they don’t know how to talk to the people ??

Had an appointment for 9am. Arrived and checked in at 830 am. Was told they dont receive until after 4pm. Checked back in at 4 pm. Was told I have no appointment because the delivery wasnt scheduled by the broker. Finally get me into a door at 5pm and didnt start unloading until 8 pm. Unloaded two pallets then went to lunch. Still here over 12 hours later. Totally screwed up my pickup appointment that was set for this morning. But hey, its not their problem.

This place piece of shiiiit. The Worst Receiving ever existed.They do not care about drivers. Please Do not take load to here. Delivery after 4 pm. Brokers always lie by telling earlier appointments. Do not trust them. I had an appt for 9 am. But once you come here they will take after 4 pm. Just bypass this Alamo Corp.
