This has to be the slowest pharmacy ever in existence. If you have a line at the drive thru expect about 20 minutes a car. I've also has issues previously where important medications were ordered late which caused my son to have seizures due to missed dosages.

DONT COME HERE STAY AWAY!!!!! THE PHARMACY AND PHARMACIST IS VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! I called up there to solve the issue with the insurance since I have 2 insurances. I called an right off the bat the technician was very rude and disrespectful. Then later on I talked to that stuck up and disrespectful pharmacist. Can't remember her name but she's either Asian, Chinese, or the Philippines INCREDIBLY AND EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! I told her her technician was rude and had an attitude. SO IN RETURN FOR ME TELLING HER ONE OF HER EMPLOYEES WAS RUDE SHE SHORTED 5 PILLS OF MY PRESCRIPTION AND OFC THEY BELIEVE THEY GAVE ME ALL 60 PILLS. THIS PLACE IS EVIL, NOT EVERYONE WHO WORKS BACK THERE IS RUDE BUT UNFORTUNATELY MAJORITY OF THEM ARE. SORRY YOUR UNDER STAFFED AND UNHAPPY BUT DON'T TAKE THAT OUT ON US, THE CUSTOMER. DO YOU THINK I REALLY WANT TO BE HERE GIVING YOU MY DAMN MONEY IN THE 1ST PLACE. ALL IM SAYING IS UNLESS YOU LIKE YOUR MEDS TO BE PLAYED WITH AND WANT TO CUSS SOMEONE OUT HERE STAY AWAY. I PROMISE THE EXTRA MINUTES TO DRIVE TO ANOTHER PHARMACY IS WORTH IT THEN GOING TO THIS DISSAPPOINTMENT AS A PHARMACY BECAUSE THET DON'T CARE AND THEY KNOW IF YOU REPORT THEM THE HIGHER UPS AINT GONNA DO NOTHING!!!!

I have been a customer of Walgreens since 1969. I used to live near the Walgreens corporate offices in a suburb outside Chicago. At that time, other than a few neighborhood pharmacies, Walgreens was the only place to get prescriptions filled. Pretty much all of my prescriptions for the last 50 years have been filled by a Walgreens pharmacy. In the past few months it has taken Walgreens noticeably longer to fill prescriptions, as long as 2 days in some cases. Last week I became ill with a respiratory infection and my physician sent a prescription to a local Walgreens. Within minutes of the prescription being sent I received an email from Walgreens advising me that there would be a delay in filling the prescription because “we are experiencing a problem getting pricing from your (my) insurance company”. The email went on to say that there was nothing for me to do and that they would contact me as soon as they received information from my insurance company. At the time I didn’t think anything about it. After 90 minutes I went online and checked the status of the prescription, the same “problem with insurance company” message was there. It was also there after 2 hours, 3 hours and 4 hours. After 5 hours I contacted my insurance company. The agent looked up the coverage immediately and it was fully covered. She also informed me that their system did NOT show any prior contact from Walgreens. The agent volunteered to contact Walgreens on my behalf. When she came back on the line she told me the prescription would be available for pick up within the hour. The more I thought about it the more convinced I became that Walgreens is deflecting customer anger and frustration away from Walgreens to insurance companies by placing the blame for delays in filling prescriptions on the insurance companies.Walgreens does not appear to staff their pharmacy departments to handle the volume of prescriptions they receive. In order to avoid having customers angry and frustrated with Walgreens, some marketing executive got the bright idea to deflect the customer anger to the insurance company by telling customers as soon as a prescription is received that their insurance company needs to provide the information necessary to fill the prescription. Walgreens knows that 99.9% of customers will simply accept this and wait.Walgreens has no need to interact with someone at the insurance company. Walgreens can “look you” up in their insurance record keeping system and the system will immediately tell them whether the prescription is covered and what is the coverage. The system is fully automated and integrated with the insurance company. My last three prescriptions were prepackaged. There were no pills or capsules to be counted out. Nothing needed to be compounded. The three prescriptions simply needed to be taken off a shelf. The prescriptions should have been filled within minutes not hours and certainly not days.

Hate coming to this location every time there seems to be a problem. The store was clean and organized. I only saw one sales associate working thr front of the store. I need help getting some tide and I had to wait for her to be done with other customers, which is fine but I wish they would work better at staffing the store correctly. Also I come to this location to pick up my medications and tell me why I get there and it's still not ready and there about to close.

The pharmacy is horrible! Been having the same insurance with my job for years, go to pick up my prescription and they’re telling me I don’t have insurance. I called my insurance and they told me my insurance is very active. I asked them to call, they act like they couldn’t call until I got on the phone with my insurance then they said they’ll call. Smh. Not sure if the guy at the window is new. But not the first time this has happen at this location. Will be going to CVS from now on!
