On 02/09/24 at 0949 hours, I entered PetSmart #1027 in North Las Vegas, NV, to purchase a few items for the new edition to the family, a Yorkshire Terrier, who’s 3 months old. I was greeted a by female, standing at the checkout register, later identified as, Rikki, when I entered.I walked around and was assisted by a slim, Caucasian, male, who was helpful and professional. He advised me on locations inside the store for various items I was looking for. As I approached the line to checkout, the female who greeted me was no longer standing there, so the Caucasian male assisted me, finalizing my purchase and placing the items inside a bag with a receipt. The Community Cashier is identified as #429608. We briefly conversed about PetSmart dog trainers and he pointed me in the direction of the Kiosk for dates and times and how to sign up. I walked over, grabbed a few flyers and proceeded to exit the location.Upon exiting, the female, Rikki, stated “Hey, do you want to pay for that?” With bagged items in hand, I stated, “I already did.” Rikki stated, “No you didn’t.” “You need to pay for those items.” I raised the PetSmart bag and stated, “I just did, do you want to see my receipt?” Rikki stated, “No.” This conversation took place in front of customers waiting to pay for their items.I walked out and placed my items in my vehicle.I walked back inside PetSmart, with receipt in hand and ask, Rikki, if I could speak with her Manager. She stated, “I am the Manager.” I then explained how unprofessional and disrespectful her unwarranted accusations were. And she stated, “I apologize, we get a lot of thefts at this location.” I explained to Rikki, you can’t profile and judge a customer based off their appearance. And holding the position of Manager, you’re expected to know better and set an example for your subordinates. She apologized again, but I advised her the damage was done. It’s too late for an apology.I went home and called the Corporate Office to file an official complaint. I spoke with Nikisa, who I described the event to. She apologized and told me, the complaint would be forwarded to a District Manager, who would contact me via email or mobile within 24-48 hours. In closing providing me with a reference number of #78328622.I had every intention of returning to PetSmart #1027, for Pet Training Classes, however, I believe my monies will be appreciated at another establishment, where prejudices and judgments don’t exist.

This place does have a great variety items for pets of all kinds. Especially for dogs. And my dog is a picky eater. And they have dog food here that my dog loves and it's a brand that I haven't seen anywhere else. Great variety of dog food. I finally got my dog on a steady diet and a food that she will eat consistently. And the rewards program is pretty cool as well. You can redeem it for money off your bill. Every little bit helps. And they have pretty good customer service as well. They are always very helpful when we come in. Only thing is sometimes they run out of the dog food my dog eats which kind of sucks because it's the only place I can get it. Other then that, it's great. My pup loves to come with us to the pet store!

Took my 16 year old dachshund for a check up here. Great experience all around we will be back for nail ? trims and anything else that may come up. ? Percent back this new vet in this PetSmart.

Horrible experience!!! My dog is 10 years old. “Manager” called me with attitude telling me she “couldn’t keep him here”, when I never received one phone call! I showed her my call log, she insisted she called me. My dog is my world. She wouldn’t give me corporate phone , told me to “google “ it. Entire staff was rude, my dog never bit anyone in his life. She claimed he did. I asked for proof and was denied. Do not go here!

Love the fancy fish. :) This location finally opened the Banfield pet hospital again. I dont know if it's a good location for that yet or not, but when we go to an appointment there soon, I will update this then.Love the layout here more than others, too. I'm not fond of grooming at this location, though. We had a negative experience about a year ago, so we go to the North Decatur one.

I used the grooming service and my dog came back with the same mouth stain and ear stain and his butt hasn't fully wiped/popped. I guess they only sprayed him with a smell good bath to appear clean when I picked him up. He doesn't even smell with a scent now that I am home. My receipt says duration 60min but I waited two hours until I finally walked inside to ask if he was ready. Lady told me she would call me when ready.. I was walking around an extra hour for nothing. Cost $40 for me to let my dog around a person that doesn't like big dogs

They really do care about pets and their customers. I am happy there and so is my dog. My dog sometimes wants to go in the car and be taking somewhere, and that's where I take her. She really gets a kick out of it. Of course I go over to Home Depot and check that out!
