I was finessed into buying a pro membership to buy Pokémon cards. I called other stores and they don't do that. Do not come here employees are scamming customers.

Deals are great and a great selection of games but the cashiers are not great about discussing using your points without your knowledge or about managing your rewards membership. I realize the employees are just promoting programs the company wants but you have to disclose it clearly to the customer. This behavior is alarming.

No interaction from associates. Poorly stacked merchandise, unwilling to help customers find products or locate items. Dismissive and short with customers. Shop another location.

I went in twice looking for something. The 1st time, the guy tried to convince me it wasn't released yet when it was. 2nd time, still not in stock because "they don't sell very many". I'm not surprised by that because they never had any in stock to begin with. I'm not upset about the item being unavailable, it's the fairy tale stories the 2 different clerks have told me. Just say you don't have any.

I visited GameStop recently with the intent to buy a game but left feeling extremely disappointed by the customer service. Upon entering, I stood at the checkout for several minutes without any acknowledgment from the staff. An employee with pink hair came out while on the phone, never making eye contact or greeting me.
When she finally finished her call and addressed me with a casual "What's up?" I pointed out that a warmer greeting would be more appropriate. Instead of responding positively, she explained that she was on an important call with her manager, implying that it excused her lack of courtesy. I felt that assisting a customer should take priority, and when I suggested we could try again tomorrow, she simply stood there in silence.
This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve encountered. It’s clear that training in customer interaction is needed. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this GameStop.
