“This review has been long awaited. Although, it has been 9 years since I have been attending school, they deserve this review. I originally came to Las Vegas to obtain my lower division courses and wanted that different type of scene where I did not to know anybody. After going to several community colleges in Cali, their curriculum for the most part was a joke. My first semester here, I had a combination of online courses and going to campus. Let me tell you, the professors I had for Criminal Justice kicked my butt and I struggled a little. They seriously kept you on a strict deadline of when papers were do, when to take your online exams, and most of all, they made sure you participated in everything (discussions, readings, and watching videos and writing papers). By the first semester I realized the professors were no joke. They do not take the basic excuses you hear from other students. You basically snooze, you lose and end up being disciplined more than you have been ever in your entire school career. I was also able to gain a lot more from here in the year and a half that I attended here. They even have a tracker of how long total you spent studying online for a semester. Literally, I had 120 hours before the end of one my semesters. For those who are coming here straight out of high school and do not know what they want to do, I definitely would recommend this place. They have a combination of classes, and you will not struggle to try and get in as they have so many to choose from. Also, a good place to start when you want to get a head start while in high school. Depending on what your major, they will definitely put you in check. They prepare you just the way they would at UNLV.”
