TINA!!!! Never have I EVER, dealt with an employee from any entity that is so blatantly, unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, and unwilling to do the job she gets paid for. From the moment I walked in I was met with unprofessional scolds, tones, words, and overall attitude. I came in to get three estimates on three separate packages. One of them was in a flat rate box so she only did the other two boxes. She was rude but ultimately wrote the price down on the box. After writing the price down I asked for the weight of each of the packages, since ya know she had to weigh them anyway to get the price. She then glared at me and in a very rude voice stated, “You didn’t ask me for the weight.” I replied. “Okay, I understand that but I still would like weight please for these three boxes so I can print out my shipping label at home using PirateShip.” She let out a very loud groan and proceeded to weigh the first box and the wrote the weight on the box. After doing the first one she asked if I needed anything else. I replied, “Yes, I need the weight for these two boxes please.” She then shot back, “You don’t need the weight for the flat rate box.” To which I replied, “Actually I do, because PirateShip asks for it when I buy the shipping label.” She then weighed the second box and wrote the weight on the box. She then asked if I needed anything else. To which I replied, “Yes, I need this third box weighed.” To which she replied, “You don’t need the weight it’s a flat rate box.” To which I replied and explained myself once again (not that I need to), “I need the weight because the website I use for creating shipping labels asks for it regardless of the type of box used.” To which she replied again, “You don’t need the weight.” (Who in the world does she think she is to tell a customer what the do and don’t need?!). I then replied, “Can you just weigh it?” She then flat out refused to do her job and said, “No, I can’t weigh it.” What is even more concerning is that after this translated I asked if there was a problem and if I can talk to a supervisor, to which she stated she was the supervisor. It is a sad day when this type of person is in charge of a facility and other personnel. I can only imagine the toxicity that occurs behind closed doors. Tina is one of the nastiest employees I have ever had to deal with. And after seeing numerous reviews and complaints from other customers it is obvious that this is not an isolated incident and has been ongoing for quite awhile. Tina should be terminated IMMEDIATELY, and seek employment elsewhere where she can work in a back office somewhere and never have to interact with customers that are simply asking her to do her job. Absolutely unbelievable this type of behavior is being condoned at the Post Office, especially since it is on a military installation whose primary customers are military affiliated.

I wish I could give zero stars. Every person I’ve dealt with here is beyond rude! It’s completely unnecessary. If you hate your job that much quit. They treat you like you’re stupid. Ignore your questions or anything you say. I had to ask 6 times for Tina to weigh my package. I was tempted to just come back and hope she wasn’t there. How many times do I have to ask? I didn’t want to raise my voice in case she “didn’t” hear me. So I kept asking. Explained in detail why. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t over the weight before I packaged it. To avoid having to break the box apart and take something out. She just kept saying I need to have it tapped up before I come up to the counter. She obviously heard me if she responded each time I asked her to weigh it. Yes I know that I have to be ready when I get to the counter. However I’ve packaged items and found out it was over the weight of the shipping label. My scale at home doesn’t pick up on 1-2 lb items. Finally she goes “ohhh you want me to weight it” After she weighed the package it was SLIGHTLY over. So I asked her if it will round? It wasn’t even over an ounce. She replied that she doesn’t know if it will charge me. Then I asked if she rang it up, would it show if it’s gonna charge me? She also said no it doesn’t work that way. Which is weird because at other post offices, I was able to pay the difference in price. You would think the rules are the same.. She gave me dirty looks, like I was being so un reasonable. It was a simple thing to ask of her. It’s also her job… I truly wonder how anyone is employed here. This is the worst post office I’ve been to. The closest one off base is 5 miles away. So I’m stuck dealing with an attitude and being treated like I’m stupid. You have NO idea what someone is going through personally. Maybe just maybe try to be kind to others. Every single staff member has treated me like crap. Yet I continue to smile at them and not stoop to their level. It’s not that hard to be nice to someone. Any package I ship from here takes forever. Something needs to be done about the service here. Someone needs to hold them accountable. Hiring new staff sounds like a great idea. It’s sad to see how rude they are. For absolutely no reason. I try being so kind and nothing fixes there attitude. I’ve never once had a good encounter here. Who ever is in charge READ the reviews. I almost left in tears because of how rude she was.

I think her name is "Tina". Ive called a dozen times to get her name but no one will answer the phone. She has a white complexion with blonde hair and glasses. I've read reviews about her attitude towards customers and I am not surprised. Today I was in line at this location and witnessed her be completely disrespectful/rude to a group of UNIFORMED service members who seemed to be working to bring something into the USPS. She scolded them very loudly infront of the entire customer line. I have never seen a person be so utterly rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful to a group of people in uniform that fight for her and her freedom. Whether these USAF members were right or wrong, they were respectful to this woman who in turn yelled at them infront of customers then proceed to stop what she is doing and walk over to them while yelling at them saying that she is going to lock the door. This was entirely UNPROFESSIONAL and she NEEDS to be held accountable for the way she treats customers and/or service members.

The lady with attitude in this place needs to be replaced. It’s apparent she’s just there to get paid and go home with no regard to the customers’ concerns and well being. This is the third bad experience I had with this location with the same person. I’d give this place -5 stars if I could. I guess Im not alone with all the bad reviews in this place. They just lost another customer today.

Stopped in on a Tuesday morning (~0930) and was politely greeted and shown the products I needed for a Priority Mail document envelope. There were 2 ladies at the desk, no line, and zero fuss. Mel helped me out. I'll definitely use the Nellis Post Office before I waste an hour in line at another location. Definitely recommend!

I wish they would give us packages that could definitely fit in our box instead of us having to grab it ourselves. However, the workers are very friendly on the right side of the post office (where dorm airmen pick up their packages), been greeted many times and they even recognize me by name. But on the left side (main mailing area), they put a package I was sending that clearly had “this side up” on the wrong side. They also pester me about where to put the return address on packages.(Also while the sign says open until 16:00, the right side for dorm airmen is open until 17:00)

All the reviews about Tina are true, has an attitude for absolutely no reason. I go in as a first-time shipper thinking that the workers at the post office could surely help answer my questions, but I just get the most bland, condescending answers ever from Tina (she was the only one there to help at the time). Just cause she's in a bad mood all the time doesn't mean she has to try to bring it down on her customers. Please talk to Tina about how she can improve and make the other sweet lady the manager instead.

Poor customer service. Everyone seems to have an attitude. Not sure why everyone is bent.

This office is definitely the worst post office experience that I've ever had. A coworker and I went in simply to renew our Squadron's PO box and it turned into one of the most uncomfortable and hostile interactions I've had to go through on Nellis AFB.We came in ready to go with all the correct paperwork, all the identification and authorizations, an authorized purchase form and everything. Filled out the paperwork and had a nice little side conversation with one of the other workers who was initially helping us out, until "TINA" decided to commandeer the entire interaction.Coworker was filling out the PO box request form and on the form itself, it states very blatantly what the authorized form of identification is required. A photo ID, and something with a physical address. Retiree ID (government issued identification) and Driver's License (physical address)Tina refused to accept because they were both photo ID. When asked for clarification she became increasingly irate and hostile toward us. We just wanted to know why it would say we could use the two IDs provided but she wouldn't accept them. They've allegedly updated their policy, so we asked to see it. She did not like that. She began yelling that we were being difficult and couldn't follow instructions or read or something to that effect and refused to hear us out from that moment on. After, she printed out the "updated policy" which was just a list of authorized primary identification (gov issued ID, DL, Company ID etc.) and authorized secondary identification. (Utility bill, lease, vehicle registration, etc.) Mind you this is a squadron PO box so we were hesitant to provide personal information but just under the secondary list, it stated, verbatim "You may also provide an additional acceptable primary form of identification as your acceptable secondary form of identification" We pointed this out to her, and she exploded, demanding that we leave, or she would call security forces to have us removed from the premises and throwing a huge fit and causing a scene. How is this bitter old witch still dragging service members through nails and still working on this installation?

Terrible customer service! Every time I come to this location I have to deal with “Tina” she is hands down the most unprofessional government employee I've ever dealt with. I’ve personally witnessed her close the post office early and on numerous occasions there have been times I’ve went during normal business hours and the doors have been locked with hand written notes taped to the doors saying they’ll be back shortly, come back hours later and a different sign is up saying they’re taking lunch and short staffed. Tina is extremely rude and every experience I’ve had with her has been extremely distasteful! I’ve also witnessed her scream across the post office on numerous occasions to Airmen that they are closed before actual closing time at 5pm. I went in today and had the last straw with her unprofessional and rude behavior. I requested to speak with a superior or anyone above her and she informed me there isn’t one for this location then proceeded to tell me she feels unsafe and walked away as I continued to ask her how to file a formal complaint. It’s a shame that our service members have to deal with such a unprofessional person who has terrible customer service skills and she should be relieved of her duties. Tina needs to be retrained and reprimanded for her disservice to the postal service at a minimum! Reading a few of the comments here, I’m glad I’m not the only one who has experienced these issues. I will be taking the proper channels to file a complaint with USPS and I encourage you to do the same if you’ve had similar experiences with Tina.

Myself and another active duty member walked into the post office today at 1543.The lady at the front desk yelled “we are closed! Come back tomorrow at 0830”VERY RUDEThe office hours are until 1600.
