Brought car in for power windows not working. They replaced switches, a window motor, and two plastic under arm rest supports. Cal said car was ready. The power windows were 1/8 inch from sealing. I brought the car back. Cal said now the car needs to have the window regulator rebuilt for another 450.00. Picked up the car. Windows won't go all the way up again. Passenger window still not going up even with the new regulator. 3300 for windows not fixed. This sux! I believe if a place cannot fix what they say they will, the customer should not pay! I asked for a partial refund.. ill see what happens.

brought car in to get 2 power windows fixed.. i was thinking 1500 at most. cal kept throwing parts at the car. he replaced the switches and 2 plastic under arm rest plastic supports and one window motor.. he texts me that the car is ready. the right power window stopped halfway up. only to go up very slowly with car running. the windows do not go all the to the seal at the top. i call him back and he says bring it by and it should be an hour to adjust the windows. the following day he calls me and says my window regulator needs to be sent out to have rebuilt. right now i in the have 2700 in it.. cal tells me the regulator, the shipping and he to install will be another 450.00. again he texts me saying the car is ready. the windows are still not going to the top. the passenger window is still not fixed stopping half way up again. he said he worked on the car 4 to 5 hours and could not fix it right. i went inside to pay cal.. instead of 450 he charged me 490.00. now i have givin hwy 50 garage 3300.00 for windows that are not fixed!! i feel as if i have been shafted!! i did not get any the copies of the receipts for parts he ordered. i asked for some of my money back and nothing. he won't say he will refund some of my cash back.. 3300 for a no fix!!! this is not right. be warned. cal is extremely expensive for work not done. i do not, if recommend ..throwing parts at a problem is not the way to fix things! prove what's wrong first! again 1 star.. there are other shops that are much more fair .

Over the past 15 years Calvin has worked on several of my vehicles and I have always been treated with honesty and respect. Calvin does great work at a fair price. I never hesitate to bring my vehicles to Highway 50 Garage. Highly recommended for all auto problems both big and small.

Took my old Dodge diesel in there. Had a fuel leak. The guy diagnosed it in about a minute. Really knows what he's doing. Hard a hard time finding the place. The sign blew down I guess. There's a thrift store next to it. He's got more work than he probably wants. Excellent mechanic. I'd go there again

I was going to take my truck here for service and to diagnose some dash alerts. I decided not to get the service done here because I was told I had to pay an hour's labor cost ($150) for them to be able to tell me how much they would charge. I understand it would take time to diagnose but that charge should be included in the total bid. I was afraid I would have to pay the $150 and then would get an outrageously high bid.I can't say anything bad about the quality of work here. I can only say I don't like the way they offer bids for woek to be completed.

Got me out of a jam, probably would not go back. Price posted was one price, but then when I checked out the clerk indicated that was a cash price only. Also noticed that when they patched the tire they did not bother to balance the tire. They should have as part of the service as they had the tire off the car.

Giving 5 stars for the constant mechanical jobs my late husband I have taken our numerous vehicles to. ****** has done great work for the jobs asked from us. Have not had one complaint to give about him. He has also done vehicle inspections for a couple of vehicles we were anticipating buying. All good work, no complaints since a customer around 2012.

I was trying to get a high-performance air intake package put on my vehicle, so I was calling around to many different Garages and they would not accommodate my request. Highway 50 garage did not give me any problems, they took my kit and installed the air intake on my truck no question asked. The outcome was more horsepower and a satisfied customer, In fact they gave me back my old replacement parts without having to request that they do do. If you're looking to upgrade your ride, give them a chance, they are reliable and friendly.

Literally across the country from home my Check Engine light started flashing, and on a Friday afternoon no less. After calling plenty of garages with no availability before Tuesday, Cal said he could look at it the following morning (Sat). Turned out to be a cylinder coil - got it taken care of in under an hour (including a needed oil change) and we were back on the road before lunch. Would highly recommend!Services: Electrical repair
