If you are a traveling nurse or healthcare professional stay far away from this gym. Their contract binds you in for a year no matter what. I received a new assignment after spending 20 weeks or so here in this town and let them know I would be moving out of state in writing. They "apparently" didn't receive my 4 notices even after several follow-ups. Finally, I spoke with a manager who told me he would correct the account and remove the associated fees. I thought this matter was resolved. It's been 2 years and they just sent my account to collections for an outrageous amount of money.

Was in town for Thanksgiving… visiting family and found this great gym to workout. Did a one day pass. The equipment was great and front desk lady was super friendly! Highly recommend!!!

Love this Gym! Great place even has sauna, heavy bag, tons of different excercise equipment. Steve the owner is such an awesome guy! This place is def the gym to experience a good workout and meet like minded friendly people.

My husband and I love pulse fitness! From the second we signed up the owner Steve made us feel so welcome. Amazing selection of machines and they are all in great condition! Gorgeous gym nice and clean and open with a couple different group class and other fitness rooms branching off of the main area. They also have tanning! Really feels like a comfortable welcoming community here.

At this gym you will sign a contract agreeing to-Monthly automatic payments (card on file)-Membership must be paid in full in order to cancel membership-A late fee if card is declinedThis is a recipe for disaster for a person on a tight budget. They will keep running your card, the late fees build up and you can't even go to the gym because you're late... and you can't cancel your membership because you have a balance. It's a cycle.If you have cushion in your account its great gym. If you're on a budget it's risky. I paid hundreds of dollars in late fees. I'm glad it's over and I'm not going to collections.

I wouldn't recommend this gym because of late charges if you don't have enough money in account. They kept running my card after I kept asking them not too. I finally caught up the account giving them over 200.00 in their late fees. They said they couldn't close my account until my account was 0. Everytime they ran my card there was a late fee. They sometimes ran an empty card 3 times a week. They REFUSED to stop running my card. I finally paid off their late fees. While this was all happening I couldn't go to the gym. They charged me hundreds of dollars in late fees with no service to their gym. Also you can't go to the gym if you're behind on payment and late fees. Do not go to this gym if you're on a budget and can't afford overdraft fees. Community Center you can pay month to month. 24 hour fitness no late fees.

The staff is so amazing. The owner himself is always available no matter the situation, and he takes pride in his gym. You can tell that he cares not just about appearances for his gym and cleanliness but he also takes pride about who he has on staff. The gym is small but not too small. You're not waiting forever for equipment. Atmosphere is everything!! They make you feel welcomed no matter what your gym experience.

Pulse is a great gym. They offer group classes, childcare, equipment for all types of exercise, personal training, and they’re always open. It’s kept really clean and everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. We joined the gym for the time we got to live in Gardnerville, and there isn’t another gym in the Valley I’d choose to go to.

I have called twice to cancel my membership and both time thought it was done but have been charged for the last three months. Mind you I paid this for the year commitment and then some ? also the advertised one free session with a trainer never got any help or into into this gym.

Pulse is the most non judgemental and welcoming gym I've been to in a long time! Steve and his crew are so engaging and knowledgeable. Plenty of equipment, clean, and clear access to machines that make sense. Please check out the personal trainers if you're needing a little extra help or guidance with your routine. Robin is amazing!!
