Perfect visit but my little Queen may voice otherwise since she had teeth cleaned - she just freaks out but I don't blame her. The staff is friendly, compassionate and Dr. Brown is Outstanding! Thank you all for helping keep my pup safe in your care, she deserves it!

I won't go back! Took my little Yorke for teeth cleaning . She weighs 2 1/2 lbs. They kept her in a kennel all day and did her last. She was stressed beyond control . She should have been done first. I don't like the way she or myself were treated. I have 3 dogs...none of them will set foot in that office again! The lady lied and said Dr. Brown was off that day so Dr Scaffer did procedure. I found out from Dr Schaffer Dr. BROWN WAS THERE. Why be dishonest? I had requested Dr Brown.

The people who work at Virgin Valley Vet Hospital are very warm and caring. It's obvious that everyone there loves animals. Unfortunately the Mesquite area has a shortage of veterinarians. Consequently the office is very busy, and it is not uncommon to wait at least 45 minutes or more to see a doctor. While this is only a minor inconvenience for humans, it's very difficult to control a large dog in a waiting room for that length of time. With more and more people moving into the area, I'm afraid the situation will not improve unless another doctor sets up practice.

Dr Shaffer is an excellent veterinarian. She is thoughtful and caring for both pets and pet owners. Her expertise in the veterinary field is commendable.

They are a great vet! I have used them for over 15 years and would never go anywhere else. They truly do care and have squeezed in my minor emergencies many times. I have also had to use them a few times for sad occasions, and they have always been helpful and kind.

We have been bringing our dog to Virgin Valley since we first came to Mesquite as snow birds in 2012. Unfortunately, we first met Tammy and Jim when we had to have our beloved dog Bow put down. I called a different vet I had found in the phone book, and was told they couldn't get me in for several days. I called Virgin Valley and told them what the problem was. They told me to come in right away. Tammy diagnosed the problem, and they gave care to Bow, we took him home for the evening and spent time with him, and the next day took him back to be put down. They were very compassionate in the process, and made us feel at peace. We have since taken our other dog to them for shots, and have also boarded him at their location, which freed us up to be able to do some traveling while we were in Mesquite. Several times I have been stopped by people with a dog, and ask where I take my dog to the vet. I immediately tell them how good Virgin Valley has been to us. Thank you Tammy, Jim and staff for all your care.

My dog got an injury while we were visiting Mesquite. I called here to have her looked at and was told "we are not taking new patients". Very disappointed.

Not only do they care about the animals visiting, they helped me when I was out of state and needed more meds for my pup. They actually called my pharmacy and spoke with the pharmacist so I could get a refill.Highly recommend but remember the first visit is usually scheduled a long way out due to lack of vets so get your critter in for a check up then, when you really need them it's a bit easier to get in.
