We just moved to town and wanted to establish a veterinarian for our dog. We were fortunate to have found this clinic on Yelp. We met with Dr. Shaffer and could not be more pleased. She's knowledgeable, and was very caring with our girl. The experience was satisfying and gave us peace of mind knowing that we found wonderful medical care here in town.

Very disappointed Dr Stye he has been seeing our two dogs for two years yesterday I called to make an appointment I was on hold 30 minutes I eventually hung up! Then yesterday I called again to make appointments for my dogs teeth cleaning again on hold for 45 minutes! Later in the day I called and made the appointment for Dr Brown then today I get a message saying Dr Stye doesn’t want to see our dogs again. Why because I suggested Dr Stye get more help at his office to answer calls! Also he has taken on two or three new doctors but has not hired any new people! Obviously Dr Stye does not care about his patients or customers just the money he collects!

For a hospital I would expect them to have staff on the weekends in case of emergency. However all they do on the weekends is feed the animals currently at the hospital. Failing to be a hospital and being more of a "clinic" making an emergency have to be taken to Vegas or St. George where real help can be given. Don't waste your time here go to the other cities expressed above..... hope all reading this get the help they need without wasting precious time with there fur baby's.

My cat has had a ongoing issue and she needed a intestinal flush done to move her bowels and they can keep her all day to work around it. Instead, they say you can go to Vegas in a emergency situation. Really! I have to work and they forget people still work in this town! So she might have to wait another day! Now she has not moved her bowels fir 2 days! So they said we will get with the doctor. So I hope the doctor has a sensitive consciousness if a human gets constipated would you not want relief?! They know her situation. Not pleased. I understand busy but if you have a ongoing patient. You find time.

Care was good, very expensive and I was told they would send me an email of all xrays that we paid a lot of money for. They sent them but in Google doc and No one could access them. So emergency over the weekend had to start over. Not happy about the extra money it cost us. Requested access to docs and NEVER got it. ?. Thank goodness for the emergency clinic in Vegas.

I met with Dr Steyee today. Our Little Spunky had a red eye with some greenish discharge. We believe it was an infection. We also had other concerns we wanted addressed..which I told the appt desk at time of scheduling . This was the most upsetting doctor visit I've had anywhere! This doctor was extremely rude, and made me feel really bad. Tried to make me feel i was less then a person. I would never see this doctor again. He was the exact opposite of professionalism. Apparently, I have some notes in my dogs file that states I complain about wait time. He told me he was not going to listen to me b**** and I can just go someplace else. He told me that he was not going to say he was sorry for the wait. "This isn't Mcdonalds. We have other dogs that come in here and there might be a dog who was run over by a car..that dog would be first. If I don't know that! I like to say the only time I've been unhappy about wait times is when I've come in for a can of dog food and it takes 20-30 minutes to get it done. I was told if we were going to move forward with exam I need to just stop talking now. He did exam my dog. Never told me a thing about what he was doing, why, or ask if I wanted all these alaborate tests done. I tried to make things better by extending my hand for a hand shake..I said Im sorry we started on the wrong foot..to which he told me I'm going to tell you again we have important things that happen here and your bitching is not going to be tolerated. When I made the appointment I told them we had a couple of things we need to ask. I was told that would be fine. When he came in he told me he would not have time to address anything but the eye problem. He did briefly talk to me about the two small seizures Spunky had had on July 9th. Basically treating me like a child and said if you'd had a couple seizures would you wait 2 weeks for a doctors appt?! He told me to make appt. with Doctor Brown. I was charged over $200.00 for Vet Steyee to tell me he thinks it's dry eye. He was also condescending when I said putting the drops in Spunky's eye might be difficult. He said well we do it all the time it takes practice. We originally came here to see Doctor Brown. She was highly recommended by dear friends. She has been helpful and we like her..she is the only reason we stay. This was a horrible vet visit!!

Thank you for getting me in for an urgent appointment today. You guys are always fantastic with your care. The doctor really explained everything in great detail and spent extra time showing me the x-rays.

Everyone is kind and friendly to everyone. The doctors are informative, knowledgeable and always kind to the animals and humans too. Just so lucky we have them here in our small town. Thank you so much for your service to all of us.

We recently lost our old girl she was 18 they were very kind and supportive we now have a young pup and love that they have a shot clinic it really help with the cost. We recommend these people highly.

Our poor kitty has really been thru it. The "other" vet in Mesquite mis diagnosed our boy last summer and then did it again last week. Then the "other" vet in Mesquite , knowing our cat, Kai, had not eaten for days, GHOSTED us, not returning our calls, not following thru with promised diet plans to get our cat, who the "other" vet told us had kidney disease(not correct,thank God) to start eating a low protein diet to support his kidneys , not even calling to see how he was doing. In the meantime, Kai didn't eat for almost 5 days which can be fatal for a cat. After spending the night in the emergency animal Hospital in St. George, the wonderful Dr.Briggs tells us that Kai does not have either mega colon OR kidney failure and that the meds that we have been religiously giving him for months for mega colon are making him sick to his stomach and have bowel cramps and nausea and esophageal spasms. Dr. Briggs sent us to the caring folks at Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital also in Mesquite and they accommodated us the next day, they took all the information that Dr Briggs sent them from the emergency hospital, all the tests that the first ghost vet had not even done before giving our boy a virtual death sentence and the not calling us or returning our calls, and Dr Baldwin examined Kai and said the same thing. She was very kind and calmed me down a bit (my blood was boiling) and gave us the great news that our boy was fine but we must stop the drugs he has been on, give him an appetite enhancer and some B12 and he is now doing great. Eating, drinking , pooping, peeing and sleeping. All the essential cat stuff. We now have established care with a great day to day vet with Dr.Baldwin and we have a great emergency vet with Dr. Briggs. Everyone at Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital was so kind and caring and professional.
