There is nothing good about this place besides having slots, here's the reason why. First of all, either the rooms are paper thin or our neighbors were dumb. We've had a noise complaint because he said we were making to much noise. The only thing that was making noise was his dog barking under the door at our dogs. The service was by far the worst part of my motel experience. We couldn't even get a late check out (we only had the room for 9 hours paying $163 with $75 deposit). THE ABSOLUTE WORST PART of the motel is that if you leave anything, they will steal it from you and if you call them, they'll lie and say they don't have it. Not only did this place steal a TRACFONE which in of itself is pathetic to steal but almost %100 sure they stole my $200 I left in a plastic bag. When I told the security guy about the missing items over the phone, I'm almost positive he called me a name right before hanging up like a little coward that he is. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. You'd be better off sleeping in your car.

I like gambling here because it has a good amount of old school quarter machines. I have never stayed in the hotel. However they have bumbleberry flats which is amazing. Hard to get anything to drink. Very clean. They do allow smoking.

I have stayed at the Pioneer for the last 15 16 years stay there because it was the cheapest and you can reach it on their property I wasn't really into gambling then perfect place you can take your pet you don't have to wait in an elevator or walk through a casino walk straight to your car walk straight to the river well this experience I've had and I go every year for my birthday I could not take a canopy I could not take a ice chest 122° outside the rooms are not cheap anymore I did not have Riverview rooms and I could not be accommodated with least a coffee pot no microwave no refrigerator no clock no hair dryer I could not believe that this was the new pioneer nothing new about it I will never stay here again I would rather use my rewards at other casinos or just spend more money to have a relaxing time at another casino to where I can beat you with my family and my grandbabies and have some kind of coverage from the Sun in 122° weather and have some cold Beverly beverages whether be a dog or kids and be comfortable in the water I will never go to the Pioneer again

I like this hotel. Parking is good because you can usually park close to your room. The pool is ok. The buffet at Bumbleberry is really good and so are the menu items. Service is slow so don’t be on a hurry. Oh the rooms are just typical Laughlin. Sometimes clean but our floor was a mess.

Rooms: Rooms are clean, just old. Great Prices.
Nearby activities: Walk out the rear door to the Colorado River, rent a jetski, or go swimming in the river or pool.
Food & drinks: Food was fantastic! Service mediocre.

The check in man with earrings was dismissive and apathetic. Slow elevators, only one elevator per large building. If you have issues walking and you aren't placed on ground floor or right off the elevator it will be a hike to your room. The only plus of this place is the price. I guess you get what you pay for here, so don't expect much from the hotel or staff!
Noteworthy details: Cheap

Where to begin? My boyfriend booked a three-night stay for my birthday. We liked the idea of the private beach. When we arrived it was 116 degrees. Our room was decent but didn't have a refrigerator. We had brought lots of beverages with us due to the heat. I asked if I could be moved to a room with a refrigerator and was told they don't have any, but I could rent one for $10. Being that it was so hot, I agreed. The room also only had one plug other than the one for the TV so I couldn't use my computer or anything else. The room didn't even have a blow dryer. It was extremely basic. I will say the bed was really comfortable.
The casino was nice, it's small and quaint. We had a good time at the bar listening to the live band, but the bathrooms are so far away it we almost didn't make it.
The restaurant was awful. The hostesses were overwhelmed and kept complaining about large parties that they needed to seat. We ate there twice, once for dinner and once for brunch. The food is sub-par for the price and the quality of the brunch buffet was very low (and I like Golden Corral!). We waited an hour to get in which was fine and expected on a Sunday morning.
The beach we were so excited about closes at 7 pm in the summer. We went in the afternoon. There are cabanas on one side but they are not part of the hotel. You have to rent them. I sat my purse on one of the empty chairs in a cabana and security came and told me I couldn't do that.
The kicker of the whole thing is they charged my boyfriend twice for the room. When he called they said there had been a system glitch. Okay, these things happen. Then they would not give the deposit back because the room was dirty. The only thing we left is one pizza box. Oh, and by the way, don't get the pizza there. It was so awful we couldn't eat it and it's hard to make bad pizza.
All in all, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Laughlin is a beautiful place to go and if you can, please choose any hotel but this.
