On Thursday 9/5/24, I spoke with the Pharmacy to double check if my Rx was ready. Was told I could pick it up in the morning. 9/6/24, I went to the Pharmacy drive up window and was told they would have it ready in half an hour. I said that was fine as I had an appointment and would return in an hour. At 12:05 am I returned and a different woman was working at the drive through window. She informed me that they had not filled the Rx and that I can come back after 4:00pm!!! I told her that I was there at 10:00 am and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Her response was “it’s not ready, we’ve been busy.” At 12::12 pm I received a text stating it was ready for pick up. I am a disabled senior and like most people try to do all of my errands at once to save gas. I’ve made 2 extra trips to pick up my meds today. This isn’t the first time this has happened. They need to be aware that this is an ongoing problem. If the Rx isn’t ready stop telling us it is and then saying it’s not when you go to pick it up!! Time to improve customer service. I really hope to see improvement.

Giselle “with the blonde hair” has outstanding customer service. She was able to quickly resolve my issue regarding online coupons and gave me helpful information for future purchases. It was a refreshing experience to see she was happy to help me. She should be the manager. Promote her!

COVID testing here is a joke. I get that it's 2024 and that people don't care about it as much anymore but come on...
I had an appointment Monday evening for COVID testing since I wasn't feeling well and I was exposed through someone who definitely had it. The employees at the store, while nice, didn't seem to know what they were doing and there were some problems I had with the experience.
1) The appointment was for COVID testing with results in an hour. Even though my appointment was well over an hour before the pharmacy closed, I did not hear back that evening. I was supposed to receive an email with the results. Finally, after calling the pharmacy when they opened Tuesday morning, the employee again said that I should have received an email, confirmed the email, and asked if I wanted to know the result over the phone anyway. She said I tested negative, but I have the impression she lied to me because it is improper to disclose the results over the phone and I have still not received an email from Walgreens aside from the appointment confirmation.
2) The test they had me do appeared to be just like the at home tests they used to offer for free during the pandemic. If that was the case, why not just give me the test so I could do it on my own and know the result in 15 mins? This also makes me think that maybe they let my nasal sample or the completed test sit overnight before reading, thus perhaps showing an invalid result.
This test was important to me because I'm going to be starting a job working with kids soon and I wanted to be sure I wasn't putting them at risk. :(
Next time I will go somewhere else!

Richard runs a tight ship in the Pharmacy. You get by far the best customer service ever. There is NO better pharmacy in Las Vegas Guaranteed! If something is out of stock they go way out of there way to make sure you have your needed medications. I would never consider no other pharmacy then here.. I have been a steady customer since 2012.

Called to ask if a prescription could be filled because another Walgreens advised that this location would have it in stock. I spoke with Michelle in the pharmacy who said they didn't have it, I asked her to check to make sure and she said "I don't need to check I already know". I asked her again to check, she laughs and says "I don't need to". I then asked for the store manager's name and told Michelle to have a nice day! If someone is trying to fill their prescription it's not time for games nor should you have a bad attitude working in a pharmacy. I will never attempt to do anything else with Walgreens.

This is not for the entire store but an overall 5 stars for this is for this 1 pharmacist named Alan or Alex. He is 1 of the best pharamist I've ever met!! He always multi tasking, very nice and doesn't mind answering any question that you have!! Not even the managers that works there are that friendly!!! It's very hard to find kind and friendly ppl when going to stores!! Great job Alan/Alex!!

Never enough employees. Very hard to get products that are locked up in security cabinets. What used to be, let's stop by Walgreens for ?, Used to be a quick trip.. Now it's stop in and stay awhile (we have a cashier and another employee running around doing everything else while trying to help customers. Do they even have the product your looking for in stock?? Come on Walgreens step it up.
