Years ago, this was a great company, but since then, steadily downhill. I placed an order with them which was supposedly damaged in transit and then the replacement order was also damaged in transit after I spent about half an hour holding on the phone. How is it possible that both orders could be damaged in transit? And then they offer nothing to make it up. Just go ahead and place the order online again, seriously? A third time? Not to mention all the time wasted.

They only seem to have supplements here now. You'll have to order food items online. So head on over if you need supplements otherwise don't waste your time

Lost in words with this company. Spent over $2,000, have been very happy until I had to return some. They DO NOT accept returns due to health concerns and ask me to dispute charges with the bank. If you are so concerned about health, why are you shipping products at first place? Are you not concerned about our health? Right after messaging online chat, they say "talk to your bank" and close the chat.

Well, they save you a couple dollars, you have to wait a long time to get your goods. They promised three days and it’s typically three times that length or longer to get a delivery. Their customer service is really slow to respond and hold times. are hours if you try to call. You have to ask if the money you save is worth the hassle. Sometimes they shipped the wrong product or make you buy a minimum no product and sneak in that fact. They have really gone downhill in the last months

I have a hard time finding the dog food my dog likes in the stores. I seen I could order it from Vitacost so I decided to buy multiple bags to last me. I placed my order yesterday afternoon and by 4pm today they were delivered. I can't believe how fast this came. It's usually $10.99 at the store per bag. I bought 6 bags. Would have cost me $65.94 (plus tax) in store but I got them all from Vitacost for $53.88 with tax included. I received free shipping because my order was over $49 and I received 20% off for allowing text messages to be sent. I can't say enough about how amazing this experience was for me!

I have been ordering from Vitacost for almost 20 years, and have recommended them to so many people. Last week, my order came missing one item and one supplement bottle came with no label whatsoever. Nothing. Just a plastic bottle filled with mystery pills. Over the years, there has rarely been an issue, ever. If there was, I called and talked to a nice, competent person who immediately settled the problem, or went online and an immediate replacement of refund was sent. This time, I tried to call for about an hour, no answer. Annoying, but whatever, Ill go online. Sent my request and never heard anything back. By the next weekend, I still had not heard back, so I called multiple times over the weekend. Got numerous messages saying that they were closed, but to call back between 9-6 on weekends (which IS what time it was). I finally gave up and called on Monday, Waited forever for an answer. Finally someone answers and it sounds like CS has been outsourced overseas. Ok, that is fine. The woman keeps me on hold FOREVER, telling me that her supervisor is checking into this. I ask what they are checking into, just send me the items, please. After about 15minutes, she tells me that she can't get her supervisor. I said "just send me the products, please, there is nothing to check into" she says she cannot. WHAT? Then she tells me to send pictures of the products, and when they get them, they will look into it. I sent the pictures of the bottle with no label. I can't send pics of the items that did not arrive.Then she tells me, "ok, when we get the pictures, we will investigate." I said that I am not hanging up until this is resolved, because I already have been waiting days for a response and I don't have time to sit on hold again, and they never responded to my first email. I say that I will just dispute the charge on my credit card and never order from Vitacost again. Miraculously, the supervisor now is available and able to see the email and says they will release the missing items to me. I am not sure what happened to Vitacost, but sadly it is now trash. I will never order from them again after this. Iherb, here I come.

This store is decent and has a great selection of blood pressure vitamins, but there's an employee here who's very hostile & fake....Her name starts with an 'S', and so does 's*it', which represents her attitude problem...She used to be a nurse, which worries me..for the patients she's 'cared' for. People say that a lot of narcissists become nurses, DEFINITELY. If you have emotional problems leave that stuff at home. People have enough problems without having to deal with your hostility and passive-aggressiveness. Yulie, another employee, has been excellent...She's friendly, professional...When I put an order through I hope to get Yulie on the phone because her demeanor is very welcoming, unlike the other employee who seems like a nut case.

Had a Vitacost package delivered to me at my home on 3-29-23. Delivery lady started to walk across gravel front yard and I asked her to please use the concrete pathway (keeps from driving gravel into the ground). I met her halfway and she angrily handed me the package and told me from now on, she's going to leave packages in front of the garage door that sits in the sun and is not visible from the front door. I ask her why she can't use the concrete sidewalk leading to the front door and still angry, she said she won't and will only deliver to the garage door. I then ask her who she is delivering for and she would not respond. We exchanged words and since some of her words sounded like Spanish, couldn't understand what she said or why she was so angry. She finally left still making what sounded like angry remarks. If this is who Vitacost uses for deliveries, it won't be hard to find another supplier. If Vitacost wants to contact me about this, they certainly can.
