I usually donate here. I like how nice they are but, today as I called to see when they had a new pick up date the woman that answered the phone around 10:35am was kinda rude. The way she answered the phone was not nice. Then I ask her if she is okay, which she completely ignores. I was kinda hesitant to even talk to her.

when they came out here on an area pick up, the driver said he could not come in the house - ok busy day - but, if I called they would come inside. ok just called - so you don't come inside - should I hire a person to take the stuff out for you people, I guess you expect all disabled to do this take furniture - not this one even though the the site says you do. give your donation elsewhere

Even though the website directed me to you because you pick up furniture, your telephone representative, tells me, "unless this guy can lift the couches, four feet off the ground, he can't take them." In other words, you didn't employ a boy wizard who can just wave his wand and load it onto the truck. Where is all the Veteran help? Who has only have one truck driver to pick up stuff??? Why would you sabotage donations???? This ridiculousness, in essence, eliminates all furniture donations. I have three unique pieces of furniture, tapestry and velour, fainting couch, beautiful couch, and matching velour chair that would bring lots of money to your shop. It seems you want cars and money donations. Because of this snub, I will make sure I donate to other charities. Donations are out of the goodness of peoples hearts. YOU MAY NOT DICTATE WHAT YOU ACCEPT.

I donated designer outfits, French designer chrome dining table, etc. it is my way to express "thanks" to those fought the war... Lost in generation. It is my way to salut to a wounded soldier whom I met as a toddler assisting volunteers - my mother's close friends - Garrison wives - when we visited one of military hospitals in Japan I was asked to hand candy and flowers to recovering soldiers on hospital beds. I heard helicopters - one after another - carrying in wounded soldiers. The wounded soldier I met was in tears as his feet was getting amputated. He handed me a letter to be mailed home. I gave him a flower... I will never forget how he looked at me thanked me and padded my head... Thanks

Truly inexpensive, with plenty of finds. I picked up some great t-shirts and a posh cardigan. The jewelry selection is also worth a look, as is the trove of framed wall hangings in the back.
