To all patients and family members, let it be know to all who visit Valley Hospital...this is not the first time that we are experiencing our mentally challenge loveone being taken to the hospital to be treated, and once the staff find out that the patients has a mental disability, instead of them calling there family member to release them to go home they call a social worker and coerce them into signing themselves into a group home and then they isolate them away from there family where we can't talk with them or even check on them to make sure this is what they wanted...someone are getting kickbacks to steal your loveone right away from their family....scams in the medical industry like never before...the second time my family dealing with this and with the same family member...medical aparthied to the highest level.

Dr found out about my issue I had complained to my doctors for 3 years. Now I can finally get the medical help I need. She went that extra step and this is about to change my life for the better. Thank you valley hospital Emergency room. You've put me in the right direction to a healthy life.

My experience was pretty good. Only issue was I had to come in 2 days prior to my surgery for a localizer. I followed the instructions I was provided and arrived 30 mins prior to the procedure; however, when I got there, the ER check in did not have my name and rep there was clueless. This info was provided to me 6 days prior to the pre-op procedure. I was later advised the reason my name was not on the list is because it was not my actual surgery and only names on the list were those who were having surgery. Seems to me there should be a better system in place for the pre-op procedures because I am, for sure, I am not the first person who has went through this process; otherwise, my experience was decent. On the day of my surgery, the nurse who prepped me, her name was Magdalena, was a breath of fresh air, and I want to, personally, acknowledge her. I don’t know that there are too many people who are facing surgery and all the things that go along with it and they do not find themselves afraid and nervous and alone with their thoughts. Magdalena was kind and explained what she was doing as she went along and answered any questions I had. Magdalena was also professional and accommodating and I really appreciate her.

Pre-check was easy and non stressful. On the day of surgery, check in was awesome and once at Cardiology, it was nothing but uneventful. The staff in the surgery room was exceptional. My nurse Emma in the ward was beyond what you’d expect. She took care of all my problems and needs and had me out of the hospital on time! What a wonderful crew all the way around!
