The woman named V at the front desk has been nothing but abysmally rude and intentionally unhelpful to everyone who has entered the post office.
The following events happened on the afternoon of Monday 26 August 2024:
I arrived at 4:30 PM and the office's posted hours are until 5, which should give plenty of time to drop off a package. I did eventually receive service at 5:10 PM, after exceptional delays throughout the process. All people behind me were refused, despite them arriving well before the poster closing time. During this, V was nothing but rude, aggressive, and dismissive to everyone who came in. I was informed by people ahead of me that she had been behaving this way for some time prior to my arrival.
By 4:35 I was the only remaining person, everyone else has been kicked out, many of whom were waiting furiously in the lobby. I was then informed that V was going on lunch break and I would have to wait, which I did until 5:10 when she eventually returned and did complete my drop-off.
Throughout this process, the supervisor was cordial but complicit with V's actions. While he wasn't rude like she was, the supervisor still did play an active role in refusing people away long prior to closing, and he refused (Maybe was unable to?) to help anyone or fill in for V at the desk.
When I finally did get my package dropped off, V explained that she had been the only person working the desk all day. She also explained that she's diabetic and must eat or else she gets sick. She also stated that she's not allowed to have anything to eat close at hand in case of an emergency, thus explaining her lunch break. While medical conditions are forgivable, there are obvious solutions to this - an appropriately planned lunch break during the day would have solved this, and would a quickly eaten granola bar. Additionally, while I do understand being tired nearing the end of the work day, her task is quite literally the job she signed up for, and part of that job is fulfilling services until 5 PM.
While her situation may be unfortunate, it does not excuse her horrendous treatment of everyone who came through the door, her supervisor's complicit actions, nor closing a government service half an hour before its scheduled hours.

My address was marked as vacant even though it’s not, called USPS and they told me to call my postal office which is this one to try picking the package up from there before it’s returned. I’ve tried calling 6 times and they never pick up and each time I have to sit through the menu options. I was calm before and willing to pick up the package but now I’m furious. HORRIBLE customer service.

Difficult location to get to. On a one way road near the airport. Be ready to possibly fight your way through 5 lanes to get over to it

I am delighted to share my positive experience with Vena. She truly went above and beyond to relocate and deliver a parcel for me, despite not having a tracking number. Vena's dedication and commitment to ensuring the safe delivery of my package were truly remarkable. Moreover, her patience and understanding throughout the entire encounter were greatly appreciated. I am grateful for Vena's outstanding efforts and commend her for her exceptional service. My wife and I relocated from New York and this was such a pleasant Vegas experience.

Dont trust their posted hours.
I arrived before 5pm and they had already closed and locked the door.
I understand if employees want to leave at 5, but then then the post a different closing time so people don't make plans based on incorrect information.

I have disappointing experience at this USPS office. Despite arriving at the office at 4:53 PM, seven minutes before the listed closing time of 5:00 PM, I found the door already shut. This unexpected closure before the scheduled closing time is simply not acceptable.
As a customer, I rely on the posted hours of operation to plan my visits accordingly. Especially today is Friday, when the weekend follows and the office will be closed, it's crucial for the USPS office to adhere to its stated closing time.
I hope that this feedback can reach a supervisor or someone responsible for managing the operations of this particular post office. It's essential that measures are taken to ensure that such premature closures do not reoccur in the future.
Thank you

I can clearly see why the post office has very bad reputations. Manager John George and Clark Tachara are rude and clueless people here. On April 26, 2024 i went to this Post office for business where TACHARA met and greeted me with insults . TACHARA was rude, and looked very high on something. I tried to file a complaint against her but her Manager John George was not better that her. John George refused to disclose his employee's name and also he refused to take complaints. In fact i had to go other post office to get their names. I have no idea why people like George and Tachara work for the post office. I am planning to file Foia to get the image and will be uploaded on social media soon. Bad service do not go there.

Absolutely the worst customer service in Las Vegas. The Lady by the name of “Tee” if that’s even her name has possibly the worst customer service I’ve encountered in a very long time.
She’s very combative and is ironically looking to argue for no apparent reason what so ever. She definitely needs some customer service training and has no business dealing with people with her ignorant attitude.

Saturday. I was at home when the said package was supposed to be arriving. I waited till the post man drove away, went out to get my mail. The package was said “delivered” but no package was dropped off that day. This is not the first time that it happened. Sometimes as soon as he drove away I was able to call the post office told them the issue then had to pick up the package myself. Do they wait a few days for unclaimed package then claim it for themselves? I called Monday, Tuesday this time nobody answers the phone. I hope usps will take care of this issue
